My wife and I, during our off-time at the computer business office, find our ourselves transported to the beautiful Saignon, France, when we look away from work.
The natural traces of the city walls are visible as they are, and we felt a tactile sense in this immersive footage.
There are also many archaeological sites, and historic homes stand vividly, living as part of the natural beauty ✨
We were soothed by the sound of the birds you can hear.

What beautiful bird song, such a welcoming sound, for those of us unable to do the climb to the top of the ‘Rocher de Bellevue’ THANK YOU, the views are spectacular and a joy to see. The trip throughout this village gives the feeling of calmness and a tranquility, thank you again.
Thanks for your lovely comment. The climb up to the top of the Rocher de Bellevue can be a bit tricky. We understand that the current steps past the ruins are a more recent addition to make access a little easier. We took our time going up and the views at the top are such an amazing reward for the effort. The village was particularly quiet on the day we visited, which really does allow it’s charm to come through in the video. Wonderful village where we visited in 2014 (10 years ago!). Just a question: Are the bird sounds in the background the real thing, or have you added a sound track? I'm just curious, because there were some interesting bird calls that I haven't heard before.
HI 👋🏻 we hope our video brought back some fond memories. The birds are real, we were amazed by the sound. The day in Saigon was really peaceful, not many people were around, the weather was amazing and the insect life was abundant. Butterflies and bees everywhere, we guess the birds were enjoying the beautiful day too. We use really high level recording equipment, which really does pick up the ambient sounds if the village, we love how you can really immerse yourself in the environment you see on your screen. So happy you enjoyed this video. Thanks for watching ❤️

We prefer to film and edit with ambient sound, so that the viewer can feel as if they are exploring themselves. Music is subjective to individual taste and may not be received as well. A fairyland ~French countryside. However, my French friends said their regions were too old. Well! Outsiders can appreciate their country more, I guess. French did not always feel happy about their own living environment. Human Natural? Easy to complain instead of satisfy! 🤔😌
We LOVE the old French villages, we guess it’s not for everyone and perhaps presents challenges if you actually live there. Give us a medieval village or centre storico any day. Thanks for watching, so happy you enjoyed this video, have a good week 😊
This village looks beautiful and alive in spring and summer but looks deserted in autumn and winter, though still looks beautiful. Maybe this village has problem with the age of its population. The younger gens go to the cities for jobs.

HI, Exactly this! We are at the mercy of the weather, it’s really windy in France at the moment. More editing, and less filming for a few days 😊
@@walkingtoursandroadtrips Hopefully you will get some calm days soon! I used to use the same earphones, but besides the wind issue I found it tough to eliminate all of the cable/cord noise the mic picks up if the they are touched, or tapped in any way. Have you guys found a solution to that somehow? thanks!

Hi Madeleine, you are right, there seemed to be very few people around on the day we filmed, which was strange even for April. Thank you for watching ❤️
I noticed a couple of people...there was a tourist taking pictures of someone...two women talking while one of them was busy painting her shutters a gorgeous shade of French Blue (that is my favorite color so I noticed right away 😊), there were people walking their dogs and others outside a cafe talking it up....and then there were the other kind of people....assembled next to the Artists Studio in their own little room...a lot like Jose Saramago's epic novel, "The Cave". Just me I guess. Though not many people still, some.
