Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert is a medieval village located in the Hérault department in the Occitanie region in southern France. It is situated where the Gellone river’s narrow valley meets the steep-sided gorge of the river Hérault. The village is part of the Grand Site de France des Gorges de l'Hérault and is one of the Plus Beaux Villages de France.

📚 History:
In 804, the Count of Toulouse and Duke of Aquitaine Saint Guillaume founded an abbey in the Valley of the Hérault, then away from any human presence, a "desert", the valley of Gellone. The abbey was called Gellone Abbey, or, after his death in 812, William's Abbey, and became the Abbey of Saint-Guilhem after his canonization in 1066. The relic of a piece of the true cross attracts the devotion of many pilgrims and the abbey becomes a very important stage of pilgrimage. An agglomeration developed around the abbey. In the Middle Ages, the abbey was on the territory of the diocese of Lodève while the nearby abbey of Aniane, founded around 782 by a relative of Guillaume, came under the diocese of Maguelone. During the French Revolution, the commune was provisionally named Verdus-le-Désert. The village is essentially a medieval village located on the Chemin de St-Jacques (Way of St. James) pilgrim route to Santiago de Compostella.

The village is surrounded by stunning natural beauty, with the Gellone river running through it and the steep-sided gorge of the river Hérault nearby. The village is a popular destination for tourists and pilgrims alike, who come to explore its rich history and beautiful surroundings. The village is also home to a number of shops, restaurants, and cafes, where visitors can sample local cuisine and purchase souvenirs. The village is part of the Grand Site de France des Gorges de l'Hérault, which is a protected area of natural beauty that includes the Gorges de l'Hérault, the Cirque de Navacelles, and the Causse du Larzac.

Je suppose que vous avez utilisé un stabilisateur genre "DJI Osmo".
Par exemple sur ma chaîne, le "Carnaval" a été filmé avec un Samsung S6... sans stabilisateur.
