Lion cub in water - TV edit (No Sound)

- This was shot at the National Zoo in Washington, DC, on Feb. 13, 2011. The two female lions are sisters, and they had a total of 7 cubs. I think the cubs were born in Sept. 2010.
The scene where the lion cub is knocked in the water is at about 1:05 in this video. The rest can be used for an establishing shot and for showing the lion's typical activity.
Note1 to readers: A couple of "blooper" TV shows, one in the US and one in Japan, asked to use the video of the lion cub getting knocked into the water. I agreed, and edited this longer version so that the shows could have some additional footage to lead up to the pushing incident. I even signed a contract with one of the shows. However, as of this writing (August 11, 2012), the video has not been used on any TV show -- at least as far as I know. I deleted the audio from these clips because the TV shows would insert their own audio.
Note2 to readers: One "blooper" show, based in the US, paid to use the clip of the cub being knocked in the water. As of this writing (Jan. 11, 2013), that clip is expected to be broadcast in Feb. 2013.
so cute!!

lion cub that fell in: yeah mom im gonna be stupid and do it again.
i personally love lions there my absolute favorite animals in the WORLD
Yes, just as the video ends, another lion cub is partially visible. When I shot this, there were 7 cubs -- three from one female and four from the other. Most of the cubs have now been transferred to other zoos, as they are all now young adults.
Wow the male lion looks amazing.
Yeah, I thought the other cub had that look on its face, too. Cute!
Awwwwhhhh...poor baby. So precious and adorable and wet! 😍😍😍🙌💝💕❤🦁
Ha its so funny how the other cub just sits there like *after that happened to my sister, i dont think i wanna go over there....*
Beautiful animals! Thanks for sharing.
LOL he was pissed,, 'mommy would ya do that for'? haha
I'm aware of that I'm just tired of people who always criticize those who are trying to help animals actually survive.
Just so you know, all the lions you see in this video were born in zoos. None was captured in the wild.
It took me approximately 10 seconds to realize my headphones weren't broken, there just isn't any noise.... anyone else?
0:30 holy crap, that GORGEOUS male lion posture, just. WOW
This has come up before but it's buried in the comments below. It's also in the description for this video. I created this video for a TV show that asked about the incident where the cub gets knocked in the water. I wanted to give the TV show more "background" video, showing the life of the cubs at the zoo. If the TV shows used the clips, they would insert their own audio... that's standard for clips where the audio isn't significant.
other cub: man im thirsty but NO WAY am i risking that
very cute!
and the expression of the baby that felt into the water looked like "leave me alone" ownnnnnnnn hehhe
A Japanese animal blooper TV show contacted me a year ago and asked if it could use my short "cub in water" clip. I said sure and mentioned that there was lots more footage. So I edited more of the footage together, put it here on UA-cam and kept it private so that only people with the link could find it. Meanwhile, two other TV shows contacted me about it. Then I decided to make it public... why not? People like this sort of thing.
At 0:33 the dad is just like "Go away"
They were looking so cute when they were eating the log stick!! <3
1:52 the other lion's like "here lemme help ya out" and the baby's like "go away i dont know you"
