😂😂 that singing was next level… definitely need more stuff from the 90s; eurodance, techno, trance, acid… This style is so big it’s still being listened to in clubs all the time in my country (Serbian 90s music and turbofolk).
This video came out at just the right time to remind me to keep things simple and fun. Right before clicking on this video I was getting frustrated by music production because my most recent tracks were not turning out very good. Also love 90s eurodance and trance :)
Thank you so much Oscar, just finished the foundation course, will immediately put it into practice with this genre. Very nice! I can highly recommend the foundation course to anyone who wants a structured learning on music production!
I recently programmed the entirety of Mo-Do's Eins Zwei Polizei on a Korg Electribe 2. Really makes you appreciate tracks like these on a different level, the way they came together with limited resources.
Man you really nailed the style, good tutorial as always! Even though I'm more on the progressive house / techno spectrum of music, I can still appreciate a good craft.
Thanks a lot! I was just looking for some Eurodance ideas for my track. I've subscribed to your channel for about 2 years and did not expect you diving into this style. So it was surprising. You gave a lot of ideas, it's very helpful. Great!
I'm a rock guy, but honestly my little incursion into techno land with your channel is making me a better producer and mix engineer, and your educational material is excellent. I hope people are paying close attention.
Such a great philosophy, keep it simple and keep it fun, not always the easiest thing to do! I took this method to learn a new synth, but went even further to days of italo and disco 😀
Wow that was a surprise! You really love it! 😜 also fun that here in Spain when we talk about euro dance we generally think about Belgium, maybe Italy, but you chose a Spanish song! Haha good video!
Hahahaha made my day that tutorial and still learned something new. Gracias Oscar! Ah tutorial on arpeggios (and arpegiators and stuff like do you use ableton one or have your favourites etc...) would be nice.. One love!
Music theory nerd moment: You'd never call that vi - IV - ii - III in D major, it doesn't make sense with the obvious V-i cadence in B minor in there, you'd just call it i - VI - iv - V in B minor.
It doesn't sound as good as Masterboy but it works as a quick guide. It would be nice if there were more films about 90's club music. Euro Trance, Euro House, Eurodancd etc.
A tutorial that nobody asked for?! It’s the music of my pre-teenage childhood and, now that I think about-probably the first, electronic music I’ve heard in my life! And absolutely loved it and still do haha! Any Real McCoy fans out there?! 😂🎉 Speaking of which, I was just listening to Maxx today, which your track sounds like! Many thanks!
Estoy llorando por ti!!?? OMG what a classic in Spain! Listen to Monica Naranjo DESATAME, that song was also huge, not as eurodance cliche but has some things and the vocal is unbelievable
Hi, the new mpc key 37 is out and here is a thought. When it comes to the key modells there is virtually no beginner tutorials out there and i different groups new users are screaming for information and tutorials. I know you use the akai products ao wouldnt this be a perfect series for you to make tutorials on? I really love your way of teaching us stuff and think this would be great for your followers and all new to the mpc key.
Oscar.. Oscar! HEY Oscar!! Just to let you know that... I need more tasty tips 'n tricks on 90's dance production... Just a little.. You know.. Wink wink.. 😉
What was wrong with the first wave other than the fact that the two or three women singing on 90% of it never got seen by the public and never got paid for their work?
@@OscarUnderdog I suppose every element which we see, in retrospect, as naïve. I’m confident you know which those are. In my opinion, one of those is low-quality rapping and lyrics: “I’m serious as cancer when I say rhythm is a dancer.” Although, even this can be salvaged for humor.
To slightly misquote Tom Waits, the definition of a 'gentleman' is someone who knows how to play the accordion but chooses not to. This should go for Eurodance too 🙉😱😉

The 90s were a magical time for electronic music.

it's funny to make turbofolk on FL Studio you should try
90s eurodance and eurohouse forever❤
This video came out at just the right time to remind me to keep things simple and fun. Right before clicking on this video I was getting frustrated by music production because my most recent tracks were not turning out very good. Also love 90s eurodance and trance :)
I love how you dance to what you're creating, Oscar! hahaha It's fun to watch and makes me wanna try this.
Awesome video 🎉💯🙌🏻
Amazing tutorial, would love to see similar ones in the future:)

Glad you like it!

"Estoy llorando por ti, estoy llorando por cosas de ayer... Y cada día, cada día que pasa me duele más"
Eurodance for ever... Thank you for the video Oscar
eurodance let's gooo! This genre is my first encounter with electronic music so that inspired me to became a dj and later music producer
Man you really nailed the style, good tutorial as always! Even though I'm more on the progressive house / techno spectrum of music, I can still appreciate a good craft.
Me and my friends love your videos man. You’re easily the most likeable music youtube guy that also has talent.
Love from Amsterdam

your vibe is impeccable mate!
This was every other club back in the 90s but it kept the vibe positive.
I'm a rock guy, but honestly my little incursion into techno land with your channel is making me a better producer and mix engineer, and your educational material is excellent. I hope people are paying close attention.
I was born in 1983. Thank you! Loved this vid.
I think this is my favorite video of yours yet. I immediately gave it a try and it was super fun.
I was watching this video without taking a look on the description and was about to say that this looks like Ku Minerva's song haha. Love it!
If you happen to be Brussels, you absolutely get a headstart on Eurodance - it runs in the tap water there doesn't it!
I feel like you should focus on eurodance
We need more of this!
Such a great philosophy, keep it simple and keep it fun, not always the easiest thing to do! I took this method to learn a new synth, but went even further to days of italo and disco 😀
Great video! 😊 Thank you!
i can feel the inspiration flow, never thought i'd try my and at Eurodance, and here we are :3
Thank you this is so digestible and fun - you're a great teacher!

Wow that was a surprise! You really love it! 😜 also fun that here in Spain when we talk about euro dance we generally think about Belgium, maybe Italy, but you chose a Spanish song! Haha good video!
Thank you so much for this video, also for choosing a Spanish song I've heard thousands of times. And great try with the vocals at the end! 😅
you underrate your voice! and overrate eurodance vocal requirements. thanks for tutorial!
this was fun!
Thumbs up for the title alone
I asked for it…. I was literally looking for a tutorial about this for hours but I couldn’t find it until now
Hi , can you please explain how did you made the arp please 🙏🏼 4:02
Saving dance music 1 short at a time 😎🖤
Thanks so much, i needed that
Hahahaha made my day that tutorial and still learned something new. Gracias Oscar! Ah tutorial on arpeggios (and arpegiators and stuff like do you use ableton one or have your favourites etc...) would be nice.. One love!
I couldn’t go past the thumbnail or title and as a former club DJ way back in the 90s I’m in heaven!!
This video taught me a lot and made me happy! I Thanks Oscar! I also miss the 90s!
Great video, I feel your love for the 90's.
Only thing missing was a random rapper in the bridge/interlude lol. Otherwise yeah nailed it
Music theory nerd moment: You'd never call that vi - IV - ii - III in D major, it doesn't make sense with the obvious V-i cadence in B minor in there, you'd just call it i - VI - iv - V in B minor.

Trying it tonight!
It doesn't sound as good as Masterboy but it works as a quick guide.
It would be nice if there were more films about 90's club music. Euro Trance, Euro House, Eurodancd etc.
The sound of belgium 😊 its a documentary, check it out!
don't let your dreams be dreams👏

Funniest tutorial ever
yeah ! c'est exactement ce qu'il fallait ! Un bon vieil eurodance. Il ne manque plus que nozie katzmann pour composer un tube à la guitare
Never change, Oscar 😂❤❤❤
Such a great music sample. Seriously, you should focus on making Eurodance!
YESSSSS
Lets go with The hardware synths!
More 90's Eurodance please, wanted! 👍👍👍👍
I was a teen in the mid to late 90's I fuckin love this !!!! Thanks for the cool vid !!!!
Oh yes 👍 ❤
you did not tell us what effects you put on the vocals Oscar!
When I read the title I thought "why?!" Then after watching the video I was like "Oh that's why"
Estoy llorando por ti!!?? OMG what a classic in Spain! Listen to Monica Naranjo DESATAME, that song was also huge, not as eurodance cliche but has some things and the vocal is unbelievable
Hahahaha my spanish friend tipped me off to it 😄 very fun
Love it!!! How did you come up with the synth lead notes??
Oscar where do we find your finished tracks on spotify or elsewhere?
Oscar rules. This video cured my depression.
Can you make a full tutorial on 90s music in Logic?
Two words .. Darude-Sandstorm

Eurodance done it best, I’m on my mission to re create the vibe in my tracks
Check out Malugi, his tunes are ridiculous. His boiler room set is the best I’ve heard. Just happy vibes the whole time it’s electric ⚡️
Forgot the trance gate ;)
I have the same levis jacket nice
not exactly this, but similar vibe to program The First Rebirth on solely a MC-303
I appreciate the Spanish lyrics!!!!
Fritz Schnackenpfefferhausen - Head In The Cloudz can you make something on this lead pls?
Oscar.. Oscar! HEY Oscar!! Just to let you know that... I need more tasty tips 'n tricks on 90's dance production... Just a little.. You know.. Wink wink.. 😉
Noted! :D
This genre’s revival will be massive, given that we learned what was wrong with the first wave.
What was wrong with the first wave other than the fact that the two or three women singing on 90% of it never got seen by the public and never got paid for their work?
@@neilpatrickhairless first of all, I love your username.
Haha now I'm curious too, what did we learn, exactly?

Hahahaha those are fair points. Did you see the Planet of the Bass parody thing that blew up recently? It's very "that" 😁@@technicolorgiallo1111
