- Corn Harvest 2023 between Wakarusa & Nappanee Indiana.
In this video I am in a corn field between Nappanee & Wakarusa Indiana as this family farm harvests their 2023 corn crop.
In this video running in the field is the farms John Deere S680 combine with a 12 row Vence Tudo Corn Head. Running beside the combine is the farms John Deere 9230 4WD Tractor pulling a trigger-axle Blazer 1550 grain cart. - Авто та транспорт

My jaw dropped watching these futuristic machines in action The future of farming is here! 🌱🤩
Gotta love a beautiful fall day for harvest. Makes for a productive day not having to fight mud, snow, and ice.
Cool to see a balzer grain cart in the field😁👍
It’s rare I see a video of a combine with nothing on the auxiliary hopper. Nice video as always Mike. You get some epic shots.
Great harvest video Mike. Not too many Balzer carts around but was nice to see one for sure. 😊
"Wow, I had no idea that agricultural technology has advanced to this extent. Looking at these modern machines is truly astonishing!"
This is nice to watch, i am small farmer from poland and i love your movies
As always Mike another great video. It truly is amazing how fast technology is changing to the point what was something new this year where next year another new line of technology comes along .
I love that balzer grain cart.

Wheels just might help even tongue weight compared to tracks? Destroying stumps should help decomposition but holding trash. Seems like a good concept and would seem to take less power.
😎😎
Do the front/rear axles on the cart self steer ? I am guessing it would be a lot cheaper than a track type cart.
Yes they do
Somehow I surfed into your channel, what's the advantages and disadvantages of the tracked tractors over the wheeled ones?
Tracks are known for less compaction but generally cost more money. It really depends on your situation. I've been told tracks are not as good (life wise) if they do a lot of road travel between farms but with that said I know guys that have done lots of road travel with tracks and never seem to have had an issue. Also some track tractors are not as fast going down the road.
Does that balzer 1550 have hydraulic drive axels, man those are big tires on the dump wagon, I aways enjoy your show.
Not hydraulic drive but the front and rear axle of the cart does steer.
@@farmhandmike wooow ok,that's awesome it's kool looking, thank you for the reply.
Looks like the corn head would definitely eliminate one tillage pass. However, it looked like the combine was only 2-2.5 mph. Is this due the corn head? What is the cost difference between this head and a more conventional JD 12 row head?
I really don't know thew cost difference on the heads.
I pay for no ads and here it is I want my money back
I guess you'll have to talk to UA-cam about that. I always wondered if you paid if it was truly ad free.
Genuinely curious, why does the Balzer grain cart have a divider in the middle?
Don't know for sure but I'd guess structure strength and with a bottom auger maybe it helps too much grain being pushed to the front of the cart. Strictly just guessing though.
That’s about 2 hours north east of me
Do the corn heads have a HP rating showing if they are more or less efficient?
I'm sure there is a rating of some sort but I'm not familiar with it.
Curiousity wants to know, why two different styles on one corn head? If they were stagered everyother maybe, but why half and half?
I believe the shred select rolls are built by a local company and they are possible doing a test.
