Here's my process of designing and making a custom lamp with a laser cutter. We'll briefly cover the steps that I take to design this project in a CAD software called Rhinoceros. Then, we'll laser cut and assemble the final product.

Really like these projects, I've always designed in Inkscape but perhaps it's time to move to Rhino...
Thank you! Upgrading to a higher end design software is intimidating, but once you get the hang of it, it opens up a lot of opportunities like 3D printing, laser cutting, CNC, etc. and makes the process efficient.
hey will they software display how the light will be dispersed ?
It will if you place a light bulb in the model and render it. If you’ve never done it before, there’s a steep learning curve and lots of add-ons to make it more realistic
