Really enjoy watching your video. So much of enthusiasm and positivity, no arrogance at all like some other reviewers. I avoided the Ghost series because of the 12mm drop. Really want to try out this Ghost Max after watching you having a blast.
It's actually an awesome trail shoe on semi maintained trails. Climbs well and handles downhill off camber turns awesome. The outer tread is just enough to get some bite on our local hilly mountainous trails. I use all 7 eyelets and the upper conforms to my relatively wide foot with comfort.... no plastic or gnarly matrix feel. Some little 2mm lugs on these units would be perfect for virtually all the trails I run on. Really enjoy your reviews and enthusiasm!!!!!
Great review as always. I have avoided ghost before due the 12 drop. So Ghost Max with a 6mm is definitely a shoe I would definitely be interested in, especially after your review 👍🏼
I use the regular Ghost 15 for my TM miles as well as the gravel 'trail' nearby. Been wanting to try these for the bit of road running I do. Thanks for this.
Hi Loyd i have a pair of these but found the outsole is not that durable. It shows some wear after just 10km. But i like the feel of the midsole! See how your pair goes, thanks for the review👍🏾
That's not great! 🤔 It will be interesting to see how the outsole holds up. I've only done two runs so far and the outsole is looking fine. Thanks for watching 🙏
@@rdiddy9869 I have Brooks Caldera 6 and I love them for long slower runs. Too high for fast technical terrain (it works, but you have to be on your guard all the time). If Ghost Max is similar I will buy a pair.
I did mention that the grip was really good out on the run. The roads and pavements were pretty slippy in places and the rubber felt nice and sticky Tina 👍

Thanks so much for your very kind comment, I really glad you enjoyed the video 😊

It’s not a 12mm drop, it’s a 6mm drop.
@@jackiebigelow3274 The standard Brooks Ghost does have a 12mm heel off set.

Ghost have a 12mm drop that’s why I’ve not gone for them but really intrigued by the GM
I'm the same Tina, I'm not a lover of a 12mm heel offset on any running shoes. The Ghost MAX feels a lot better with a 6mm 👍😊
Brooks needs to put more cushion
Cushion in the shoes.
I kind of agree, although these where nicely cushioned 👍🙂
I run in the hyperion max, which are a bit lighter and after not being a brooks fan, I really like them.
Have the Ghost 14 and Adrenaline 23. Great shoes. Love the 12mm drop.
Glad you’re enjoying your Brooks shoes 👍

No worries, glad you enjoyed the video and thanks for watching 🙏
Would definitely like to see a full review.
Haven't run in my Ghost Max yet..... (Christmas Present)... too muddy.... but Testing them out I love the drop, that make's you want to run !!!
Hope you enjoy your shoes and thanks for watching 🙏🙂
Good morning. Helpful information, Loyd. Like to Run4adventure. A nice monday for everyone.
Cheers Manuel, have a great week and thanks for watching 👍😊

They looking nice
So…maybe I missed it, but if these aren’t released yet how did you get a pair? Free from Brooks? If so that should be mentioned in the review…
True to size? I sized down for these. Probably a mistake but I can return them.
I’ve always found Brooks shoes true to size 👍
Looks like a Caldera 6 for roadrunning. Have you tried Brooks Caldera 6 and can say if they feel simular?
Sorry I haven't run in the Caldera 6 so it's hard to say? 🤔
Thanks for watching 🙏
Hope he does a comparison video of those 2. I am interested in both of them

How does this compare to the brooks Glycerin 21
I haven't run in the Glycerin 21 so it's hard to say? Sorry I can't be more help but thanks for watching 🙏😊
Have you tried them in the wet? Wondering what the grip in the wet is like.

@@Run4Adventureplease do a long term review (100k+)
@@Run4Adventure great thank you 😊
My road shoes are ghost 15.....great shoe for me
This or the nimbus 25?
I think i need to run a few more miles in both shoes before I could answer that? 🤔
@@Run4Adventurethis or Altra Provisions?
