AWESOME, VINTAGE Otis Elevator at the Hotel St Michael in Prescott, AZ, USA

Welcome to the Hotel St Michael, a historic hotel in Prescott, Arizona, part of the Whiskey Row district. In it is likely one of Otis' first elevators produced, with manually-operated doors (the outer one is a hinged swinging door, and the inner one being a metal gate). While likely first installed in 1864 when the hotel opened and this design not produced anymore, it looks to have received a few slight updates (such as the automatic motor) to keep it up to date with current standards. It is nice to see one of these vintage elevators, un-modernized, still in tact.
