i'M a John Deere Tech from Nebraska and I love watching your channel. You do a very good job showing how a modern family farm operates and you do a very good job educating people about the equipment and farm life. Your videos and video editing is amazing. Have watched other farming channels and yours by far is the most interesting and informative. Hope your channel continues to grow with subscribers. Keep up the good work.
For crying out loud you two are adorable. I’ve been watching since the beginning and it’s so nice to see you two living life together, working together. Your parents must be so proud of you two.
Grant needs a new toy - er Video accessory. Get a drone ! Unbelievable video of up close combine drive-by footage and then an quick elevation increase so you can see where the combine is going then flip around to show what it done did. Laura - love your infectious smile and total enthusiasm for farming. I don't think I could smile as much as you do, knowing how hard farm work is and the gamble you take to bring in a crop (weather, equipment problems, injury). Still great video's and info.
It's the miracle of life, always nice to see how plants and animals emerge and grow... Great job, Laura, great job!
Cool shot where you mounted the camera on the sliding door
I love your honest reactions when you recieve gifts from the viewers.
Grant you better watch out, that’s a heavy duty rolling pin. Could do real damage!😂
Envious! We are still planting, and you’ve already got 3”-4” growth showing up in your field! Congratulations Grant on finally getting your mouse!😂 Laura will finally ride in your truck again. The wood working on that rolling pin looked incredible with the contrasting wood colors in it! I agree Laura, the time to make all of those wood working gifts is absolutely amazing. A lot of love behind those type of gifts!
Thanks for the shoutout for Lockwood's, I grew up with Lockwood potato and beet equipment. I remember when they added pivots. Like the status on how corn grows, and had never forgotten about watching the corn emerge....That day of seeing the corn above ground is always special. Have a great time and season.
I used to set up Lockwoods in the 70’s it would take two of us 4.5 days to get it assembled after it arrived, we did 100s of them over several years. Some time the farmer would help assemble we did some in 16 hrs.
Laura , i swear if i didnt know better i would think you go out just before dark. You read your crops stories and tuck them in so they are healthy . one of my classmates had that same energy with his feeder pigs. You rock, i love watching you .
I remember working in southern Indiana one summer, if you drive by those cornfields and stop and if the wind wasn’t blowing I swear you could hear that corn growing.
Actually corn grows more at night on a calm warm humid night you can hear the joints popping. During the day the leaves are producing nutrients that go into the roots and then during the night they do their thing.
that rolling pin was something special.
A farm husband's job is never done, great start Grant. Laura will ride with you, thats a plus.
Always good to see Laura's smiling face and Grant collaborating on a video. Great stuff.
Great video Laura! Give Grant a big hug for his efforts. It's so much fun to see you light up with glee when you get stuff from your devoted fans.
Hi guys… I’ve been a golf course superintendent for over 30 years and have dealt with mice infestation in our irrigation satellites…. I have used cheap urinal blocks set at the bottom of the controller to drive them away…. Works welll!
Excellent recommendation. Based on your experience it’s definitely worth trying!
Nothing like getting home after discing a field and watching a Laura Farms video
I appreciate you getting down to the ground and you’re right no skips
Isn't it so satisfying to watch the corn sprouting before you've finished all of the planting? The fruits of your labor? Those plants looked rigorous like they are on steroids! LOL! Fertilizer rocks! So did that RX8 and the 24 row planter! Loved watching all of this make Laura's face glowing with smiles!
That Chevy truck with the litter on the floor is a representative of most all farm trucks in the world. I have rode to my deer hunting stands and fishing ponds every year in such pick em up trucks! It wouldn't seem right not having to push the empty bottles and cans on the floor to the side to put my feet down! The mice are also typical as my uncle had one or two in his along with chipmunks that built nests from the foam rubber they pulled from the seats.
Grant, why don't you pull those gear boxes and replace those seals a few at a time every year until you get them all rebuilt? I know, it is a pain and it's easier to drain them and add new oil. LOL I hear ya!
Lots of nice thoughtful creative gifts being sent in. I'm still trying to think of something to send you all that is unique because I really enjoy your videos more than any movie or TV show. Real good people doing good productive things is my entertainment anymore! Thanks for doing what you do and just being yourselves! This is what America is really about, not the emotional train wrecks that we always see on social media and in the news anymore.
Laura saying root will never get old
Agreed 😂, first is was like, “the what now?”
I say it the same way😆
Really awesome to see the progress of the planting of the corn..oh and I'm glad you can be back in the truck now..lol.. see you soon ❤️😎
She’s gotten so good at these videos, she’s a natural. I love how she involves us and puts things into perspective for us. Grant’s a good asset too.
I enjoy watching your videos .. i don't know much about farming, only garding and this is very interesting. will continue watching .. :))
Laura if this is your farmland this is the first and best growing of corn I’m seeing your number one
That was a huge mouse, glad you caught him! RIP🪦
Great update on JD 8RX 410 and planter and the job it did with spacing and lack of duplication. Meat sticks = new mouse 🐭 trap 🪤 bait
I siill really like the garage door drone shot.
I have the same problem with the wind in Southern Saskatchewan, the calm days are few and far between. Enjoy them while you get them.
Hello Laura and Grant, Laura a very nice job 👍 with the corn. Grant very nice job with getting the mouse.
I can't believe that little seed makes such a Huge stalk of corn!!!!! Incredible!!!!
Kildeer have a very recognizable call. Yep! When you get close to their nest, they'll fake a broken wing and try to lead you away. Clever!
Yep, they're hilarious to watch. "Oh no! I am soooo wounded, I hope no big mean predators come and eat me!"
Grant says it too! Must be regional.
Oops, swing and a miss. This was about Laura saying root :)
They also stay up all night long too under outdoor lights.
Nice Grant glad you got that little bugger.
Grant, you did good with the trimmer, because that's what your wife wanted. My wife asked specifically for a Stihl FS 131R for Mothers Day and she LOVES her new trimmer. She also asked for a Stihl MS 170, because she wants a chainsaw of her own. She says my FarmBoss is too heavy for her. She's getting that saw for her birthday. Shhhh, don't tell her. A good husband gets his wife nice things that she wants, not what others "think" a wife "should" want. City folks don't get it, and they never will. It's like the Freightliner joke. They won't get it.
Great video, many thanks. And Greetings from North Wales in the UK
Good Morning from New Zealand, Great Laura farms Video thanks for sharing have a wonderful week
Obviously it depends where you come from,in NZ when we used to grow maize, ours was way over 12 foot tall, even higher in a really good season
Happy birthday late . I hope you had a great day
See, what I tell ya, the grey traps are the best. Keep up the great video work Grant.
Hello from N.E. Oregon. Cool channel! You guys are going to have to build a shop for all your gifts. 😉👍
Your videos and production are awesome👌
I've been following you for months on tiktok and just found out you have this channel. And the videos are amazing!
Wow that is a big mouse grant!!!!!!
what works the best is generic tooties rolls i have caught a lot with them and also pit a bar of irish spring soap in your truck or home and it will keep the mice out
Laura, by looking at that rolling pin, that thing is made with several exotic woods. I want it. lol
on the ground ......your best vid yet! Nice job !
Happy birthday mis Laura meney more to go Amen saba
I live in Phoenix, Arizona, and I have had killdeer hatchings/living in my front yard @ different times. They were about 10 feet from my front door. They were a little nervous at first but they stay till the hatchlings could run around, then one day they were gone. The little guys seem to be ALL legs when they run around. Very interesting seeing them here. There are some golf courses nearby, so I guess that's where they go.
A great video Laura.
How many ladies do you know who would lay in the dirt and be totally
Content, one more reason all of us
Heart your channel. Grant you are a very
Lucky man.
Great vid guys glad Grant won the mouse battle!🇮🇪👍

met je verjaardag
1:46 It reminds me of a scene from the movie Spaceballs. You should have a sign on the back that says:
"We brake for nobody"
Great video!
Progress.....looking great...corns on the way
The million dollar planter eight RX fantasy with a crazy platter
Happy birthday baby girl love you
Just starting to warm up enough for field work here in Northern nv
farmers in Wisconsin almost finished planting.
Who?
@@kerrykaverga786 . Millennial farms and Welker farms
@@kerrykaverga786 That would be the Wisconsin team who thumps Nebraska football. If Nebraska didn't have corn, they would have notbing.
@@kerrykaverga786 farmers, I typed it slowly so you can read it.
Happy belated birthday
Great info
Great job explaining what farms look for in planting fields. It shows us city folk, how much we don't realize that goes on in the farming world.
Good morning Laura
you think the wind does not blow here in Montana lol, it blows all the time here on the day we don't have wind are just great day and everyone loves them
Congratulations on your trap line Grant.
Glad you caught the 🐁
Mice really don't like month balls, thought you could put 1/2 dozen or so in your control boxes.
Talking about killdees got me to thinking, there used to be loads of killdees around here but i've not seen one in years. It was always fun watching them run out in front of me acting like they were injured.
Congrats on the mouse kill.
That's how we say it too in Ky, leave off the r and call them killdees.
Hey grant give you suggestion, don’t leave any food particles in your truck, they can smell it and draw them to it,I had more luck with peanut butter, glad you got , keep the trap in there and sat it ,I can tell you there’s more, till you don’t catch any more
Wow I can not believe how fast the corn has come in...
I really want to come farm with you. Really good vids well done
I just found your Channel and maaaan I absolutly Love it. Watching Video after Video. Hope I can come back soon to USA. My favorite Country to travel. You do an absolut great Job.greetings from Europe 🙋♂️✌
Take a picture each day standing in the same place with your hands up like that, it will make a cool time laps.
Hey, there’s a Rattlesnake right by you!
👏👏👏 on the mouser
Abrazo grande desde buenos aires Argentina 🇦🇷
The rolling pin can also be used as a Grant attitude adjuster.
Well that came up fast. You must use some super fertilizer to get them to grow so fast.
Hi Laura. Great Vids. I'm from New Zealand, but was in Nebraska 2 years ago. Love the place. Do you and Grant do fertigation thru your pivots? Keep up the good work.
Hello Laura farms. Having rat and mice problems. I use this product Racumin and it is works well. Within four days it killed nine large rats.It is made by Bayer . It might be under a different name. I have ginea pigs running around. They don't eat it. I live in Tasmania Australia.
Srsly glad we had closure to the mouse fiasco. In all seriousness, I thought, what the hell in the last video, thought youd leave us hanging!
Going from no wind with Laura to a lot of wind with Grand haha!
Hope you had a nice birthday :-D
Great to see the corn already popping out!
Support your works 1000%!
Banana Yellow nails? Jk.. Give Grant a knuckle tap and your a (I can smell it.) type of Farmer. The Sixth sense kicks in when you do something you just love doing. Cheers Darling Laura!
Good night
love da drone shots ~ gotta mute the music & hope we don't looooooose 2 much
With some of the corn up and being mid May. Is there still a chance of frost there?
Years ago for corn the saying used to be "knee high by the Fourth of July." What is it now? Head high? Eight feet high?
farm boy here... that planter, does it mount to the tractor's drawbar, or is it 3-point only? not sure how tracks can be smoother than tires, they have ZERO cushioning, kinda cancels out the low-compaction aspect... tracks might be okay travelling straight, but that elongated-rectangle contact patch makes for very hard turning compared to tires, even when dualled up...
Good working in land .angel
Hi Laura
My dad brought my mother a 5x4 Vermeer baler for her birthday
Very nice update! Papa Rich and I truly enjoy your videos. Grant: “we have a problem here” 🐁 🐁 🐁 🐁 🐁 YIKES! Glad you finally trapped the one in your truck cab 😄 SUPER SWEET GIFTS! Wow! Those handmade items are awesome! And these gifts were personalized. How thoughtful! Love ❤️ you, Grammy
What are these white spots for? Some kind of bug?
In my fields, quails eat corn kernels. How dense you sowed that corn. This year I sowed 16 cm == 6.5 inch.
A leaf blower might help clean out the cab ?
Hi how are the crop during in your area. Soya and grain are getting expensive here in Denmark. ?
Great to see farmers getting paid once again for producing
9:37 - finally caught the mouse LoL
We’re planting navys beans in ND 16-17 hours a day. Cool video!!!
What is a better tractor the 8RX or the Fendt
That mouse snapped into a slim Jim.
Will grant get these Practical acrylic Fingernails too? just to become a better farmer
Good day Laura
You’re so sweet an so excited to have a great job done
