Man if this applicator doesn't clog up then I'm sold. I enjoy Extra Thin as much as the next man but when I want a fast and rock solid bond I like to use the thicker glues you get in these "precision" bottles. Used both GW/Citadel and Revell glue but had similar problems with both applicators clogging over time. Even that little unclogging tool would be handy! Will have to look at this.
Definitely give it a go! I think once people venture out from their typical glue brands, they won't look back after using the Deluxe Materials precision glue. The convenience of this product never clogging can't be understated.
Hey Cathy! Checking the Deluxe Materials website, looks like Horizon Hobby is the USA distributor and looks like they sell to the public, so I would be trying to contact those guys :)
What is the price for the product if so where can I get this precision glue for my model projects in the long run and the extra needle tool included. Do they have them in the States or abroad and or abroad else where if so what is the mailing address to order it.
Depends on your location but here is deluxe materials website for reference :) deluxematerials.co.uk/collections/special-adhesives-for-foam-plastic/products/precision-plastic-glue-25ml?_pos=1&_sid=52ca28545&_ss=r
You can leave it as is, evaporation rate is very low. But to prevent spills if it gets knocked over in your tool box I would suggest also buying Deluxe Materials Pin Point Applicator Kit DM-AC28.
I have literally a hairline crack in the headstock near the tuners of one of my electric guitars. Maple neck. That crack has been there for many years. There are literally hundreds of pounds of pressure.on a guitar from the strings pulling on the neck when it is in tune.. I was on UA-cam, searching for some type of a super type glue that could possibly flow into that crack by capillary action without having to drill a tiny hole in the neck.. this product has the right kind of attachments, but will it flow like water because this crack literally looks like a hair on the neck. Headstocks completely breaking off of guitar necks is not uncommon, especially with gibson and Guitars that have the most extreme tilt angle on the headstock relative to the rest of the neck. Gibson guitars are often repaired because of neck failures due to the tension caused by the strings this guitar is not one of my gibson’s, it is an Ibanez 370.. not an expensive guitar, but not a cheap guitar either.. could there possibly be some way of thinning this type of adhesive so it will flow like alcohol or water through one of those attachments by using some type of a solvent to mix with it?
Gday Jody, Thinning this product, probably not really the greatest solution. I would be looking more at another product from the same Deluxe Materials, it's called 'Rocket Hot' their product code is AD43. It's a super-thin penetrating CA glue, which should be at the consistency you require. I'll provide a link to their website for you below. deluxematerials.co.uk/products/roket-hot?_pos=6&_sid=388ae77ed&_ss=r
Hey Jeff, you can find it on their website here: deluxematerials.co.uk/products/precision-plastic-glue-25ml?_pos=1&_sid=8ed5bbd05&_ss=r As to where you might be able to purchase for yourself, I would check any of your local hobby stores :)
We are not the product owner but the Australian distributor for Deluxe Materials. Our goal is to provide honest reviews and share our experiences with products we believe in. If we don't believe in the product and use it ourselves in our own personal hobbies, we do not feature it on our youtube channel, simple as that.
The needle is for dispensing the glue only. You will not pierce the plastic with this style of needle, you will need to trim it off with either a blade or nippers
Glad one of the first things you mentioned was how to open it, I was kinda stumped.
Man, you set the whole unit right on the scale. Zero Torque. The thing didn't move.

Is this sold in USA? I need to fix my mother’s figurines (shelf broke and fell, shattered porcelain figurines everywhere…)

Good review
Will this cause fogging on perspecs?
Hey Adam, It should be fine, but with any adhesive a trial is the safest solution.
Try glue and glaze from Deluxe Materials. You can actually make windows as well as using it as a glue.
product links would have been great

How do you store it? With just the needle unsealed? I’ve been looking for a glue that is vapor free!

I can't even get the needle in to puncture the plastic. Wish I'd bought a different brand that made sense

You're joking right?
