actually this production uses the original 79 off-broadway script! so any differences from the 79 album are actually stuff that they performed on stage back then, but just didn’t make it into the album!
yes, it’s became my favourite version! although strangely there is ANOTHER 1993 version of In Trousers that blends songs from the 79 and 85 version together. It has no official productions, but was published in a book with Falsettos. There’s apparently one in a library like 40 minutes away from me that I’m going to in a couple weeks, so if I can get my hands on it I will share it on this channel too :)
