My iPhone 14 pro max photos looks fine when clicking the picture and looking from camera, but after I take the photo and see it, after 1 or 2 seconds it auto processes it making the photo overly sharp and bright and ruining the photo, am I only one with this problem? Please somebody let me know.
Update: This is actually not a problem and a default feature/part that Apple calls The Photonic Engine and you can't turn it off, they think they're making the pictures look better 💀

@@maerinlee8749 so guys I read something and found a fix to this. So according to this article this is something that we can’t change. It’s factory or something like that but if you spam your photos on Live Photos and choose another key photo it looks better
Thank you. Turning off lens correction made taking very close photos a lot clearer.
I upgraded from 8Plus to 14Pro. Definitely the image quality is way different. But I kept noticing how 14Pro distorts the image too much, like it elongates subjects which are very noticeable if there are corners. Also it blurs too much, very irritating when trying to take photo of detailed subject.
Try yo change in settings the macro, I just did it

Does anyone experienced the thing with 14 pro that when you click a selfie your face turn a bit black and it focuses on background more than it should do which makes photos worse!!!

I am not a fan of the camera auto enhance 😢 it’s not true to colour. My images of my make up swatches look dark now
Exactly, on my 14 pro the photos looks really good on camera but after clicking it, it auto enhances making it overly sharp and bright. Are you facing the same thing?

Well depending mine sometimes look dark. Like I have softboxes being used, I take the photo and it looks fine while I’m taking it then I look at the image and its dark and it’s been sharpen too much
Mines been doing this as well, I use it for my business. Ending up having to use my 13 pro to take the pictures, the 14 pro camera is truly awful in comparison. Wasted £1100
@@JH-ge5kz might have to use my iPhone 11 for my swatches but then again I did that, sent it to my iPhone 14 pro to edit it and upload online and the phone changed the iPhone 11 photo, has this happened to you?.
My iPhone 14 Pro camera is CONSIDERABLY worse than my 13 Pro, makes me frustrated that I’ve just spent £1100 for a downgrade, as the camera was the main reason I was “upgrading”

my issue is that on snapchat when I take really unclose snaps, the camera just gets so blurry
My iPhone 14 pro’s camera just doesn’t focus, I have been facing this issue from the very start.
The camera just doesn’t seem to focus when an object is near or far for that matter, at times it focuses but then it takes a lot of time.
Is it just me or are Everyone facing these issues with the new iPhone 14 pro series?
Mine seems to focus fine. Actually faster than my previous iPhones. I ran the supplemental update that was released at launch. Have you tried updating the software yet and see if that fixes it?

Mine does the same, it’s frustrating. When I zoom in everything is all blurry until it finally decides to focus.

@@youaremememe i think I resolved the problem ! Go to your camera settings, select record video, scroll down and make sure “Lock Camera” slider is green. Haven’t had that issue since.
I just switched to a iPhone 14 pro and the biggest problem I have is that when I take a picture from insta with a filter it automatically blurs and fixes my face or the picture too much to the Point where it’s blurry and for some reason I don’t have the beauty mode on tik tok ?

Preserve Settings now has an option to preserve the Macro Control setting. So you can permanently have it off now without having to toggle it every time.

How do you make it, so the camera of the iPhone 14 Pro Max doesn't freeze every time you are recording a video?
Make a picture on in RAW and just crop a little on the sides, then you have the normal quality without the weird processing of the picture :)
Can also please explain the over sharpness and exposure of iPhone 14 pro max front camera. I hate taking selfies now they completely change 🤮

I have a synology and just offload everything with the DS Files app. Works well for me.

I went to a concert and there was harsh lighting, red and blue lights and the camera on Iphone14 pro max over saturated the picture, on zoom the video was out of focus and the video was over exposed. I saw others using a Samsung and the video was beautiful. There's something wrong with the Iphone 14 pro max over processing the video. I'm not happy and looking for how to turn off this post processing.
When i record a video on My iphone 14 pro when i get close to something the camera switches but it’s really not smooth😢. Am i only one with this?

I'm noticing that the 14 Pro Max camera is giving off a blue cast and doesn't look as attractive as older phones that look more true to what the naked eye is seeing... could this be a setting I have turned on? I also noticed the phone is auto-adjusting when I change the lighting... any advice to correct this? Thanks!
The Photographic Styles setting offers 5 styles with different combos of tone & warmth. Maybe one of those would be more to your liking? The Preserve Settings offers the ability to lock your Exposure Adjustment if you want to always keep it at the last setting. Otherwise, you can hold your finger on your screen for a few seconds after you set the exposure to lock it.
Can the 48 megapixel setting on this be used for selfies as well or is it just for the back facing camera?

my selfies look horoble, like takes OK pics and then converst into muddy grainy mess why??? im 10 was taing better photos what an i do ing wrong?

I just “upgraded” to the iPhone 14 pro from an 11 and these images are so blurry either in the foreground or background csnt capture both. If I use the .5 zoom I can get good close ups but not with any other options

Unless I missed it in another video I would like to point out that pictures will not be in 48MP unless you are shooting them in 4:3. 16:9 photos will be 36MP
4:3 is what the image will be shot at.
Any additional information is an image from other lenses for better framing

Why is that when i used ig cam ang widen the cam and open the flash then capture it, it got blurd the pic hand its like grain. Its ruining the picture

I loved this full explanation! Could I ask how you could I add slow motion (still on cinematic)to a part of the video on the iPhone 13 pro using maybe an external app to keep the blurry background as if I use slow motion mode it gets rid of the blurred background! Thank you so much ❤
As of right now it seems like cinematic mode only works at 24 and 30fps. Additionally it doesn’t look like the cinematic mode api is open to 3rd party apps or at least the apps I use like filmic don’t seem to have support for that. If I come across a work around I’ll let you know!

My Iphone 14 promax camera settings (Record Video) is at max (4k 60fps) and when I upload it to youtube or send it to either whatsapp/messenger, It’s kind of blurry or pixelated.

Great video. Thanks. I have a question. When I take photos indoors my white walls turn out a little yellow. When I've had a Pixel phone their processing gave me accurate indoor color but the iPhone doesn't with just point and shoot. Is there any way to correct this in the stock settings or will I need to correct it with editing later. Any third party camera apps that you recommend for this problem?
I have noticed this as well. I end up correcting my photos whether on my iPhone or Pixel in Lightroom. Hopefully there’s an iOS update soon that can correct this.
I had gotten the iPhone 13 pro and returned it for the regular 14 because of the crazy macro lens switching. Very frustrating as I am a photographer and I run my business predominantly through instagram. I enjoy sometimes using instagram filters and rely on filming directly through instagram (instead of the phones camera app) for the convenience and quickly sharing my work process. The macro lens on the 13 pro did that crazy glitching-lens switch situation when filming through IG app, even with the macro lens on the phones software turned off. Is this the experience with the 14 pro as well? Apple and Instagram could not give me an answer whether or not the 14 pro would have this issue, therefore I had to go with the iPhone 14 and not the pro which super limits my photography options and is such a bummer. 😒
If you enable the switch to macro feature the lens will not automatically switch. And will present a flower icon when close enough to manually switch if you’d like.
Hey Brittany and Steven I need your advice guys. I just got 14 pro also for my business and just setup the camera setting exactly same way in Steve video right now BUT my question is this: Are these settings good for sharing hight quality IG videos/reels ? I do take lots of videos to share them on IG (1080 at 30fps) but I think when I share them on IG I do not think look 1080. They looks more blurry. @Brittany do you record with your iphone and directly upload from your phone to IG ? I'm try to make page more pro and high quality videos like 4K :) Please help! BTW thanks for the video :)
@@_stevenfoster unfortunately this option is not available when filming DIRECTLY off of IG in stories, like I mentioned doing.
@@ml5406 I ended up getting the regular 14 not the pro because of what I mentioned above. I do film directly off of IG (it’s not blurry) and couldn’t handle how the macro lens would kick in causing the video to “glitch” on the pro series. Therefore I ended up getting the regular 14.

I NEED HELP PLEASE! Hi, so I have 14 pro and this is my third 14 pro first 2 phones camera was freezing when I was recording videos and apple replaced the first 2 then this third was was doing ok till last update 16.4.1 after I updated my phone my camera start getting blurry at nights when I go to club. It seems like focusing or something. it's getting burry while recording for a few seconds then clear again. What can I do for this? Is there any way to lock my settings and lens ?

When im recording a video with the main lense then get up close to something the macro is enabled, BUT when I move back out to use the main lense the macro mode doesnt switch back to the main lense leaving things pretty blurry. any thoughts?
If you are using the built in camera app, in the record video section of the camera settings you can scroll to the bottom and enable lock camera to ensure the cameras aren’t switched while recording.
Ideally it would switch back to the main lens, but that may be a bug. Ensure you’ve updated to the latest version of iOS and if the issue persists report it.

I just googled it. You have to go to “format” in the camera section, then go down to the raw option

If you are using iCloud to store your photos I would recommend high efficiency.

I see no comparison anywhere about lens correction being on/off because there's literally 0 difference, I guess it's the same reason you didn't

@@pswain06 nah i don't realy care THAT much about the camera, still sucks for such a premium device to have that bad of a camera, however the screen and battery are just divine.
