They are smoking crack. Why did they not give him SSJ Trunks shoulders???!! I had to swap them out on my figures and it makes a huge difference. You can put his shoulders higher and he looks more accurate

My only real issue is his shoulders are huge. The neck on mine is a bit loose, but that’s an easy fix with some super glue dried on the ball joint and then popping it back together after a few hours.
I don’t understand why the shoulder pads (not the armor, just the pad parts themselves) aren’t soft pliable material. We should be past these articulated armor pieces at this point.
The new crossed arms style looks so much better just the ease you put them in nevermind the better detail of the sculpt.
Those ankles are the worst how is this still their go to design for those boots?
Regarding his ab crunch can you do the mod that removes the tab on the hinge inside him that a lot of the 2.0s have? Im sure you know what I mean.

Yes there’s praise for him now, which is great. That doesn’t mean people weren’t bashing it prior. Point of any review is to give your opinions and even respond to what the general thoughts of the figure were. If you even skipped around this video you’ll see it’s more so me just wanting more out of it. Some additional upgrades would’ve made this guy stellar. But for its current design/functionality it’s just fine and leaves a little bit more desired.
@@BurstZG Although that makes more sense, it's better to base that type of thing on opinions now that everybody has the figure. Just like you said, nobody is saying it's bad now that we have it in our hands. Just left a lot to be desired. But as the title says and the comments are saying, it's now bad now that we have it. Based on the title, we assume that you mean that people NOW are saying it's bad, now that we know you're talking about prior opinions, it makes more sense. The title was a bit misleading is all.
Yeah I don’t know of anyone in my friend group saying this is bad, quite the opposite really. This figure is really really solid in my opinion. People complain so much in this fandom man. It’s 10/10 or the absolute worst, no in between. Entitlement of needing perfection in every figure is laid on thick.
Idk, I think the judgment for this one was pretty fair. Which was mostly surrounding the fact that he could’ve had a bit more upgrades to support to continuous move onto the new engineering style. It’s not the worst figure ever or anything but it just leaves a bit more to be desired ig would be the best description.

@tommyg4842 You’ll always see goku at the forefront being reissued or getting some new figure. In regards to specifically 2.0s…well you’ll all certainly complain when they decide to do a whole new figure that’s an Event Exclusive..so that’s out. There’ll always be new collectors to the line and most are going to be kids and young adults who don’t plan to spend more than $30-50. So ofc they’ll keep the same or similar figures in rotation. Lastly, idk where people have been but the line has evolved beyond just the same character. People just have a patience problem and want what they want NOW.

Yes they can be! It was one of the first things I thought of when I saw this fig.
But the blues dont quite match, however, with the armor shoulder pads, it can cover them decently enough.

This design honestly looks like it could’ve been a 3.0 instead of this goofy looking “2.5” design while i get why people love it and others hate it. Im more on the this really could have been a 3.0 figure because the head sculpt looks more inline with typical 3.0 figures
I agree with your points. I also received my copy and I'd say these are the best Vegeta faces from Tamashii Nations. In fact, the faces are so good that the old battle suit ones look bland because they're not as expressive.
The torso though is kinda disappointing because it can't really bend when other SHF Vegeta are able to pull up the torso joint for a bend. And we all know how bad the ankles are. I do however like the butterfly joints which are useful for figures with wide shoulders.

Yknow it is becoming evident people are ignoring the initial response to the reveal and after thoughts of it. Sure now that it’s in people’s hands the tune has changed for the better. And if you bothered to even skip around this video you’d notice I’m not really even bashing it. Just wanted more out of it to really get it to the next level. With the design and engineering we’ve seen lately this Vegeta and even the old battle suit version could’ve been even better. They’re fine now as is, but leave more to be desired.
I heard a lot of times and I also think that myself, the proportions are off. look at the shoulders, they are way to big. also the gap between the sholderpads is ugly.

Maybe you’ve got a defective unit 🤷🏾♂️. Cant say I’ve ever had an issue getting that figure to stand up or hold its poses.

It’s crazy like 4-6 of you have said this🗿. The initial response to the figure was not the best. Social media isn’t the end all be all but across multiple platforms there were people questioning the decisions put into this figure. Some considered it bad and some considering it fine. Point of the review is to give my own thoughts on the matter, hence the question mark in the title. 🗿
@@BurstZG I get that but I've never saw anything quite negative about It I just saw people go like "why are they making this" or With every Vegeta that gets revealed "why isn't it 3.0" I personally didn't see a lot of "Oh this is Garbage" maybe when it got revealed but I've been seeing nothing but THIS IS THE BEST Vegeta so I think that's why a lot of us are confused with the Title of the Video Nothing against you and I enjoy seeing other people's opinions I just think it was surprising that's all.
