I'm ALL in for this. I was already sold on it being from Greta Gerwig AND Noah Baumbach but the campiness is TOO good.
I think people are excited to see something unapologetically happy and brightly colored for a change.

Fun and dumb is a way to get people who outside the core demographics of young pre-teen girls to see the movie.The innuendo jokes are a way to reach adults who otherwise would not see it.
I saw the BARBIE trailer It's the most WTF damn movie!!!! but why inflict so many stupid movies on us.😊
