Cool. Thanks, Steveo. But how do we know when the various filters need to be replaced? When we exceed 10 ppm, we know to replace the resin, but what about the filters and membranes?
Great question, have a video coming about this, been slacking on vids recently due to so much going on in life, all positive but time consuming. Best way to check RO quality, is to measure the tds from the source and then tds after the RO before the DI, if the Ro is still removing 90-95% of the TDS its in great shape. After you run it for the 20-30 min to fill the ro filter, How long should you run it in RO mode only after you change the filter?
After you've run the RO for 20 minutes then you can hook it up to the DI and clean away
How often do you change your DI RESIN in your xero system?
2 times a year but I have an average of 50-100 tds which is pretty low

Hi SteveO, quick question.. After storing the RO with RO Protect for a few months, what steps should be taken with the system when ready to start back up?
I would remove the RO cap, remove the RO, pour out the solution inside, pour fresh water into the RO cavity and then pour out again. Rinse off RO, Insert RO back in to the RO vessel. Put caps back on and then run water through the Carbon and RO for a good 15-20 minutes

Heather the window woman, I would shop around online. The LG 4040 and other solid brands can be had for around 30% less through other resellers compared to WCR.

SteveO The Window Cleaner That LG can be had under $260. There are other good options as well but when buying need to pay attention to specs. GPM/GPD needs to be high enough to cover your work flow.

Why did you change from an Axeon membrane to an LG. I havec2 Axeon HF5 4040 and they are superior to the LG as they make 2500 GPD at 80 psi and 3000 GPD at 100 psi because they are ultra-low pressure.
You're 100% rigt on HF5 is best overall, just had an LG at the time
