    One thing I forgot! make sure you set your body type before processing-- you'll get a warning about it if you don't do it.

    This is the only tutorial worth to see all the others don't explain crap and just yolo it as if we are suppose to understand and know everything by default, thank you for taking your time.

      @@ibrews yeah is just that I was trying to connect my phone but no one showed the proper way to do it, I will try now with this video for some reason it was not reading my files even though I used the Capture Source with a Storage Path it shows as if I had none of the videos I recorded so gonna try adding the IP address and stuff to see if it works now

    Wow when those people did the months ago, it took them a lot less time than this tutorial. They must have done it a zillion times! Thank you for slowing the process down so that we can understand what we’re actually doing!:)

    Brilliant thank you. I've been watching a few videos on this subject trying to figure out how to do things and I'm finding them all way too complicated (I've never used Unreal before). But yours is so easy to follow, keep up the great work.

    Been watching a couple of Metahuman animator videos but your one seems to be very 'Down to Earth' and 'Easy to follow' so I have decided to make your tutorial my one to work through, now one thing I've picked up on though that you show in your video is that after you do your 'Calibration Take' with you in the shot, when you do your main takes, you have 'Depth Preview' turned on when shooting your main 'Takes' as your face is mainly Gray, is this correct. I have not seen this mentioned in other tutorials, possibly because there as not as comprehensive as yours, Thank you for a Lovely Paced, informative and easy to follow video.

    Hi Alex, love your vids!! My iPhone mocap vids are not showing up in Unreal 5.2. I made my MetaHuman in the MH creator and followed every step but my vids wont show up in the Capture source with archive linked to my folder

    Hi Alex. Thanks for the information you’ve shared. One question I can’t seem to find an answer to anywhere but maybe you’ve come across it. Do you know of a technique to blend the first 30-60 frames to the last 30-60 in a MH’s animation sequence? Kinda like a fade in a video compositing package? Thanks in advance.

      @@DdawgRealFX after exporting to an animation you can blend the animation into itself in sequencer then re-export if desired

    7:30 - I think the depth sensor footage is only 30 FPS (at least on iPhone 11), so maybe UE5 only uses frames that have both: RGB and Depth, so it can't be 60 FPS?

    My computer is 64bit i5 11gen with RTX 2050 ... Bt I'm facing problem for “Prepare fór Performance” pressing failed 😭
    Please help me how can i solved this problem ?

    I'm very interested in your workflow metahuman animator working with a custom hmc as i see that u have done a capture using an hmc rather than phone, I've got myself a stereo hmc and would probably be the prefered solution aha :D

      I actually processed the HMC footage using the identity I got from just holding my phone

    Nice tutorial ! Been playing and crashing for 2 days, reverting back and forth with directx12 (no imported iphone footage video playback) and directx11 (video ok but crashing) any tips anyone to get it working ? Best

    Hi! I have a problem when I activate the plugin and open the project. It gives me this error: ''The ‘MetaHuman’ plugin failed to load because the ‘MetaHumanMeshTracker’ module could not be loaded. This may be due to an operating system error or the module might not be properly set up.'' and closes the project. Any Idea of what could it be the problem?

    What is your pc memory? 64g? My one is 16G and when I click the prepare button it always crash when it reaches about 70%. Did you find this issue?

    after ubdate iphone app It gives a warning for the animation part of the application live link face app saying your device model is unsupported you may continue but your results could be affcted"for meta human animator capture ." and its work but i wonder My economic situation is not good and I will develop games. How much performance difference does the iPhone 11 make?

    Interestingly, the bit I get stuck on is the Capture Source Asset, there is no drop down - can't figure out why as of yet - did you encounter any issues like that?

      No that’s very strange! Try restarting? Maybe reinstalling the MetaHuman plugin ?

      you have to process the identity first, then add a Teeth Pose as a component, then promote a frame

      @@ibrews Nope the launcher is also blocked. I get a notification that the url is blocked. A lot of companies block it as it is tagged a a gaming destination
