I really enjoyed this since you have the emotional intelligence it needs to. I think, when you try to get to the top from nothing in such a short amount of time and never really played football with others before as a team, it's almost impossible to trust other people and play like a normal kid in a group to archive your win. Maybe Ray Dark also made some kind of deal with him that forced him to get to be like this. The only thing he could have relied on is manipulation. We still see that he uses a kind of psychologic manipulation on Kunigami, but i guess he knows that it's something else by now from Isagi and Rin to make a goal with his own efforts to grow. He needs to start loving himself for his own efforts so others can start loving him too. And for all the people that say "Ness is loving him, why doesn't he accept that"??? You know it's not unconditional love when you make a chick imprint on a chicken. Kaiser doesn't see this as love, he knows it's an obsession he created himself. Of course that doesn't excuse his disgusting behavior against Ness and other players, but some people can't get rid of the toxic vibe they have against some players. Which is sad, because the previous chapters were a piece of art in drawing and character writing.
