I mean like, he blocked Starfire's kick with both hands and there was a whole Shockwave Robin flashbanged him, taking away his whole sense of guard, and had a flying kick with reinforced steel shoes directly to his face... By all means robin should just have a broken leg, but its DC, people like robin and batman have plot armor anyways and are stronger than the average human due to training that much unrealistically anyways, in a world where magic and aliens exist along with super humans. It makes sense in DC's rules, when you think about how much of super hero stuff is allowed to ignore reality.

If you pay attention when Star kicks Cinder Block, he stops the force of her kick by putting in his own force into his block, essentially parrying her kick. But Robin throws a stun into cinder blocks faces, making him lose his stance and be blinding him a bit so that Robin can land a clean hit. The difference is Robin was trained by batman im martial arts and weapon use but star was not and as for the pull batman teaches Robin not to panic when his weapons break or when someone more powerful then him comes after him. You have to realize Robin and batman fight Solomon Grundy and ra's al ghul weapons breaking and their opponents being stronger than them is normal for the most part

I like to think its because it was made to give Kyoya more power in his bey, trying to pull his aggressive nature out of a bey that shouldn't have naturally been aggressive. It taught him how to work to get over walls and how to get stronger without being a pure menace. Giving him an attack type would've been horrible, he would have acted worse than Metal Fusion Ryuga constsntly.

There’s actually an explanation in the show, the nature of lion is defence, but kyoya’s personality is very aggressive, which effects lion and makes him more of an attack type, so a beyblade’s type is more like a combination of the bey’s nature and the blazer’s personality, and btw fang lion is not an attack type, he has an attack and defence mode, the reason madoka said it was an attack type is because it evolved already fixed on the attack metal combination

Pre-Hybrid Leone was a counterattack type & not a pure defence type. Rock Leone was more of a defence type. Fang Leone combined both and gave him both a counter mode & defence mode like Gravity Destroyer & Variares.
