This BL manga really changed my life. I know how it feels to have your "ego" sealed. I was a very talented and fast during elementary and high school days, no one at or around my age can beat me, I always outrun everyone. However, I have non supportive parents. At school, our coach tried to scout me and asked my parents to sign the consent form but hey didn't, for them it was better for me to stay at home and help with house chores. This manga has made me cry of regret and sorrow. It was too late for me, I am 27 years old now and I think my talent already disappeared into thin air. I regret that I lacked the hunger to be the best at what I do. I could found ways to get out of that situation and pursue my dreams!

I think, when you try to get to the top from nothing in such a short amount of time and never really played football with others before as a team, it's almost impossible to trust other people and play like a normal kid in a group to archive your win. Maybe Ray Dark also made some kind of deal with him that forced him to get to be like this. The only thing he could have relied on is manipulation. We still see that he uses a kind of psychologic manipulation on Kunigami, but i guess he knows that it's something else by now from Isagi and Rin to make a goal with his own efforts to grow. He needs to start loving himself for his own efforts so others can start loving him too. And for all the people that say "Ness is loving him, why doesn't he accept that"??? You know it's not unconditional love when you make a chick imprint on a chicken. Kaiser doesn't see this as love, he knows it's an obsession he created himself. Of course that doesn't excuse his disgusting behavior against Ness and other players, but some people can't get rid of the toxic vibe they have against some players. Which is sad, because the previous chapters were a piece of art in drawing and character writing.

I also want to add something. I believe the Bladebreakers are all based on one element from the five element theory in Daoism. Obviously Kai is fire and a fire personality is described as: "The Fire Element personality is passionate, intense, brilliant, and always striving for the best.
