  • Repairing the roof on the mini was always going to be tricky job as the roof line is a very difficult panel to achieve an invisible repair on. With a lot of sanding and panel preparation i think we will get a near perfect repair.

Another great piece of work. You would never know the effort that went into getting it looking so good. Glad the Citroen is not forgotten but major work ahead I would guess

Brendan, Thanks, The Citroen will be on video next week as we will take it apart as the road springs are going to the UK for refurbishment. Cheers Dave

Nice update on the two vehicles. Amazing work making the roof on the mini shell it looks seamless. You’ll never know once the headlining is back in.

Thanks very much. As you say once the soundproofing and the headliner goes in you wouldn't know the difference. I would be proud to tell any buyer
about all the work that's gone in to the bodywork as it will be as good as new shell by the time we are finished. Cheers Dave

Great to see the Mini roof looking so good. Just an update on the Mini 1100 special. we have been down in Croatia for the last few weeks using the Mini every day and it seems to get better and better every time we take it out. you made a fantastic job of all the repairs we could not be happier. Regards Jeremy , Emma and Toby.

Jeremy, Thanks very much it was the only concern I had with the shell. I‘m so happy your enjoying the 1100 again and it‘s been brought back to life
after the accident. I think if there would have been a different owner and repairer this little gem would have been assigned to the crusher. Cheers Dave

Chris, Thanks, It was a lot of work cutting and fitting it in plus all the welding and lead loading which is the reason the repair looks so good. Cheers Dave

Thanks, Amir had never attempted lead loading before he came to me but picked it up very quickly. It‘s nice to pass on a dying skill. Cheers Dave

Luis, Thanks very much. I‘m very pleased with the repair as it was in quite a state and probably would have ended up in the crusher 🤔 Cheers Dave
