I love this pedal... Not just because of all the tweaks you can do on the fly (live), but also because you can plug any other pedal into its loop and completely change the sound of the repeats. How cool is that?
IMO this is the best analog delay ever, and that is saying a lot.

Especially if you put equaliser pedal you can make it super bright or dark similar to EHX Memory Man or Supa Puss delay.

mikeashimself I think having this channel for nothing is actually a luxury.
I remember the first videos of him I saw 10 years ago. Seems like a legit great guy.

I like that the cables come into, and out of the top of the pedals, for pedalboard management. Many of the EHX Memory series pedals, and other companies take up valuable side-jack board real estate.

Only you . . . Pete, can think to do this. I Knew this Pedal did not get the Publicity it deserved - when I saw the minimal coverage from NAMM. It is a really Unique Analog Delay and your playing was spot-on, to showcase this pedal. Always enjoy your videos.

Damn Pete, you really knock it out of the park with these demos. I really like your style and that sort of mid to late eighties tone and feel you get in your songs, not sure if that's what you're going for but I dig it. For me the Rubberneck is one of my favourite and best analog delay pedals, plenty of features, simple to use and sounds excellent, suits my style of playing and songs.
I’ve read a lot of comments and many are not big fans and struggle to use it. It seems to get a bad press from some and others love it! Obviously it’s not for everyone and that’s each individual players choice.
The world would be a very boring place if we all liked the same things.
Thanks Pete for a top notch in-depth melodic review as always one of the best and I definitely prefer listening to your demos and not other UA-camrs that shredd like fuck and solo like crazy making their reviews/demos more about them and look how good I can play! Rather than actually focusing on the product they’re supposed to be reviewing.
    Cheers Pete

Excellent use of BBD chips, I must say. They've done something different than what MXR has done with the Carbon Copy Deluxe, and I hope that Dunlop asks you for a demo of that pedal, too. I've been using the Empress Echosystem that you demo'd a while back and it's amazing - so clean, and almost the opposite of the Rubberneck. Thank you for the video.

How do you connect the controller and still get to use the TRS-in for using another pedal in the loop? I'm only seeing one input on the pedal and one output on the controller.
Thinking of replacing both my analog delays (Way Huge Supa Puss & Maxon AD9 Pro) with this one. It seems to do everything the 'Puss does and more. Maxon is my favourite in terms of tone but the DOD sound very similar - can be set nice and dark.

Hello Pete ! Awesome as usual !!!
I Had the warm Reptile 2 , which i sadly sold ( did not play much delay at this time !) , now i play many U2 and David Gilmour songs, classic rocks covers and want a dotted 8th warm delay, not too hi-fi studio sounding too....I play P90 guitars and Starplayer tv ( 😉), and Telecatser and look for (and under around 250 USD) warm tap tempo delay with dotted 8th option....Is the best one ? And other idea ? T-Rex replay box ? Whay Huge delay ? Digital delay pedals might sound crispy and trebbly against analog ones , no ? Thanks for your help....Thanks a lot, Gaëtan
