I was in Pateley Bridge that day and I spotted a celebrity outside the sweet shop so I dashed into the butchers and shouted DEEP DIGGER DAN'S OUTSIDE, we all watch your videos, you're my favourite youtube historian.
Absolutely fantastic video. What a beautiful town. Great job on the clean van Mazzy! You really need to help with those chores Dan!!! Thanks again for the great work.
With pies like that looks like I'm having a drive to Pateley Bridge on my next day off before my holiday to Filey. Also liked the look of that VW campervan in Grassington. I have always liked the idea of having a camper when I can afford it.
Our oldest Candy Store in America, is in Salem Massachusetts.. I believe it was started in the 1690s during the witch trials... I even have an ancestor who was tried as a Witch and another ancestor who was a judge during the witch trials... I visited the candy shop in the late 60s when I was in the Navy... they had jars of Taffy that dated back to the 1820s... What a fascinating place
I just discovered an Aldi store in Florida. We don't have them back home on the west coast of the U.S. They have fresh produce, meats, dairy...anything you need for very cheap!!
We have Aldi here in Ohio and they are fantastic. I understand it is the largest grocery chain in Germany. At Christmas time, they have wonderful German chocolates and sweets. Enjoy!
Thanks for the shout out Dan and Mazzy. The "Aaart" arrived safe and sound. Still looking for a Motorhome to show said "Aaart" in. Hope to have one before Christmas or shortly afterwards. Still loving your videos. Chuckle muscles nearly worn out.👍🖖🏴🏴🏴
Hi Dan & mazzy aww what a quaint place those pork pies looked scrumptious that sweetie shop ooh pear drops midget gems humbugs mmmm aww should have parked up got mazzy some sweeties 😀
Watching ya'll today instead of surfing the net or watching the news, because I need a break from the suck, and you guys make me happy. Don't ever stop posting (and more detecting videos if your back and knees can take it!). :)
Hey what you guys should do is when you go from town to town put a lil table by the motor home and sell your art or maybe at a street corner so people see what you can do and make lil cards
Oh guys. I used to live in that area. You missed out on St Mary's Church. Lovely ruin at the top of the high street. Druids temple which isn't far from there too.. Was nice to see you're around our local area.. Enjoy.. 😉 Quite a few nice places to wildcamp too. We live in our van pretty close to all those areas..
Watching you guys makes me want to get a camper van so bad. Keep up the awesome work love watching your videos. Also will you ever travel abroad to see more sights x

Mazzy; she creates cool art, makes her own food, cooks, scrubs the rugs by hand, cleans, does the clothes washing and more importantly Drinks Beer. In my mind the perfect women! Dan, you're the luckiest man in the universe. Please make clones of her? If you do put me down for two.
Hey, great video Travel Trolls! We love Pateley Bridge. Glad you had a nice time and the video was well put together. Funnily enough, we have a video on the Oldest Sweet Shop too on our channel! Feel free to check it out 😃
I learned the alphabet for the deaf. And when I have five extra minutes or in a waiting room I practice it looking at signs and spelling them out. And if I come across a deaf person which I have once I can communicate it is so cool besides been good brain exercise
Dan that would be awesome to see you putting camper gadgets to the test. Or putting any kind of gadget to the test. Mazzy your good camera lady. thumbs up from me

@8:21 In Canada, we call them burger patties and gravy, just to differentiate them from burgers as in hamburgers/cheeseburgers in conversation.

U should shop at Aldi as u will get a lot more food for less money
There certainly isn’t an Aldi in Pateley Bridge.
That pie was incredibly good value for money. £1.50!
Tell the truth, it was never an old, traditional toy shop. When you were 8 those whipping tops were all the fashion Lol. 🤭 Another great video, thanks
Are you going to the Lake District? I'll be in Keswick on Sunday hiking.
No
I was on this campsite (riverside) the week before this
Sneaking In the alley to eat your pie... kinda like someone with a... habit... lol 😜😂😅👍🇨🇦
