I’ve been away for a bit. However, I love letting you know how much I appreciate you and your teaching style! #QUIRKY. Again, thank you for sharing your knowledge with us!
Thank you, this is a very tricky piece with all the phrasing. I’m wondering, on pg. 26, the last line, 2nd and 3rd measures, there’s a small line under the G…what does that mean?
You're welcome! The line could mean to hold the notes out their full values, which you should do anyway. Or the line could mean to give those notes a little stress, which means to play them a little louder. I don't agree with that, though, so I think you can just pretend those lines are not there.
I always come here whenever I get stuck on a piece. Your lessons are very helpful and I’m a better player because of them. Thank you.
You're welcome!
I really appreciate the depth of your knowledge and your clear explanations!

You're welcome.
Love your sarcasm :)
Any suggestions for learning songs in general, hands separate, right hand first? Just wondering how to approach. Thank you
I use an approach in pretty much all my lessons on this. Just use that as a starting guide and you can develop your own approach.
Anyone else out there struggling with this? I am mightily!! Feel like I missed some past lessons. Timing and getting notes in sync are the issues.

@@LetsPlayPianoMethods Thank you, I like pretending they aren’t there…enough stuff going on in this piece for me already!

For all of you Baby Boomers out there, Styx uses the Alberti Bass in their song, "Come Sail Away."
