3:54 how this this white belt know this move. Like I'm almost yellow belt and I've never got taught about that. And blue belt vs white belt is very fair... not
i mean no disrespect i just want to give some clarification. I am a judoka myself. Ippon isn't only a throw on your back. you are also awarded ippon for submitting your opponent or pinning them for 20 seconds (with the new rules).
@PostonClan At the time of this video it was Noahs 2nd or 3rd Judo tournament ever. With only a few months of Judo training. This was a year ago. Noah doesnt really pin any more in Judo. He Ippons 99% of all his opponents now.
Some of those opponents hardly look like orange belts. But if that is the boys picture, that is sick. It looks like steroids but even if it is just straight weights, it's not good for a developing body.
@kap2z Noah has no ego at all. U say let him be a kid. Would being at Disneyland as we speak for the 5th yr in a row be considered a kid thing. Noah lives like a King. He gets anything he wants. He gets strate A's in school. Noah loves winning and if he doesnt wanna do a tournament he doesnt have to. He will never be a douchebag because thats not what we teach our kids. He goes to church twice a week. As far as my dreams I have already accomplished them.
Most these kids are yellow, orange and a few green belts. The white and blue belts are used for scoring purposes. If u notice Noah sometimes is wearing a blue or white belt.
@tamaramerkus Yes at the time of this video it was Noahs 2nd or 3rd Judo tournament ever. With only a few months of Judo training. He throws alot more now. This video is a year old.
The kid is talented, BUT unfortunately his is doing ILLEGAL JUDO. His throws are mostly Koshi Guruma and Maki Komi Techniques, and his grip around the head and across the middle of the back is not permitted for this age group, in real competition for injury reason. This kid although talented should not be using these throws yet!!! Bad Teaching...Bad Referring...
It was illegal even then. Don't get me wrong the kid will be good its just to bad he was not coached properly to use Ashi Waza techniques before going to Koshi Guruma or Maki Komi throws. PLUS its kids like this that made moves like that ILLEGAL and causing less and less people to join the sport.
LOL Man y is it always people that dont know anything about Judo commenting ?? 1st of all no child could ever get a black belt at 8 years old. Let alone the belt is blue and if u notice sometimes Noah is wearing a white belt. He also fought up a division against 10 year olds. So what do u expect ? The blue and white belt are none of these kids actual color. They are only used for scoring purposes.
He has lost many times. At this age, he was facing kids that have been doing it longer than him. He really didn't know what he was doing, he was just more aggressive. He's about to be 18 years old in a few months. This video is 10 years old.
@@othpromo Sorry didn't notice the date..I hope he continues with judo/bjj..but stays out from mma...all my friends who went into mma have ruined their healt...I started with judo at the age of 10 or so..still able to do bjj at plus fifty.
Okay what I don't get is if he is a white belt by international rules you ain't even allowed to compete until the 8th Kyu. He should bet throwing things like Uki goshi and O goshi. Mune gatame or Kesa gatame on the matt. No choke holds also not grapping by the lower arm. This is why kids get injured. Just because parents want to teach them to much to fast.
Sanneisa They use white and blue for scoring. Never heard of anyone using their actual belt color for scoring if that was the case the ref would have many different colored wristbands. These are the rules.
Sanneisa Not sure where youve seen chokes before but that is not a choke. Hes simply pinning the kid down. Noah is now a world champion in Jiu Jitsu. If you want to see some real chokes check out some of his more recent videos.
You can win if u IPPON someone..meaning u throw them on their back, u can also win by points. U can also pin them for 25 seconds. White and blue belts are used for scoring purposes. No subs for kids under 13.
Sandbagger really ? 1st of all hes fighting in 2 divisions. 8 n under and 10 and under and hes 7. This is Judo not jiu jitsu. Theres no chokes allowed at his age. Hes also fighting kids who practice only judo 5 times a week all year long since they were 3. Noah does many sports and doesnt practice judo that much let alone at the time of this video he had only been in it for maybe a year.
D4N1EL yea well he is fucking pro for a 10 year old and you may have been doing it for 10 years (ive been doing it for 12) but im sure he is still better than you
Ok idk but it says he took on 10 kids and won does it mean he took on ten kids all at once in one tournament bcuz I think its a lie bcuz in each vids he is a white belt than a blue and the vids look like its at different tournaments and they just put the vids all at once
@BeatKidR This video is old how am I an idiot for responding ? How old are you anyways ? And where are u from with the way u write things ? Im sure when u started judo u have always ipponed every one rite. LOL
it's not painful if you know falling techniques. i do judo too and i don't think it is that painful if you fall properly. it is your body however, and i have no say in how you fall.
And it looks like everytime he gets a position he just stalls and stays there I've been doing mma for 6 yrs n that's not allowed info everything in mma since I was 7 I'm 13 now
johnathan nuñez Im also 13 now. Im a state champ in wrestling and in judo. Im also a multiple time world champion in jiu jitsu. Check out my facebook. I think Im 9 or 10 years old in here. I do anything but stall. Im assuming you don't know the judo rules.
johnathan nuñez youve been doing it for 6? Ive been doing it for 12, he is clearly not stalling in this video, but trying to look for a good enough grip/trip to get his opponents down. I admire how he was only 10 when he did this and he was a pro then, i dread to think how good he is now. I have been doing judo 12 years like I said, and this kid is pretty much as good as me if not better. So think about what you're saying before you say it because otherwise you end up talking shit, thanks and well done Noah Alsguson
johnathan nuñez plus he was not stalling, if you knew anything about this type of martial art, you would see that what you call 'stalling' is trying to get his opponent off-balance so that his throws/reaps are succesful
It's very obvious that all these kids have zero defense knowledge. Most of them are not even resisting the neck grab attempts, zero movement knowledge, and no attack plan. This winner kid is below average in my opinion, and many 9yrs kids I know can finish him easily.
@bigtomo69er The douche-bag attitude ? You comment is the douche-bag attitude. My son loves the sports hes in. You can see it in many of his videos when hes smiling and celebrating.
Judo is the path of softness and flexibility; Bad coaches, worse judges. What I saw was not judo looked like a street fighter trying to win at all costs. In Judo you fight to perfect yourself. Muscle brains those who trained that child.
So you're saying every 10 year old is supposed to do Judo the way you think? In this video, he's 10 years old and it's his 1st year competing. I see kids doing Judo.
Going to show my son this. He needs inspired for our champs coming up in two weeks. Congrats to you. I bet you will be a name to see in the future. :D
He is very talented in Ne Waza!
haha youre a fucking legend mate, I do judo and I have been doing for 12 years, but you, youre something different buddy, nice job pal. Chris ;)
ChrisBurton MMA Thank you. I just won state about a month ago. You can see the video in my new videos.
Noah Alsguson your welcome and I will ;)
Ref was clearly not doing his job. The kid had his forearm pushing down on the other kid's neck for a long time.
I have been doing judo for 6 years . I have had 30 people in my group and still won p.s it was at the Scottish championships
3:54 how this this white belt know this move. Like I'm almost yellow belt and I've never got taught about that. And blue belt vs white belt is very fair... not
In tournaments you either wear white or blue to identify the players. The belt colors do represent your rank.

no hate, but did you get permission to film the other kids?
@hanner01nz Noah is an Orange Belt in Judo and Jiu Jitsu. He would probably be a green belt in Judo by now if he wasnt in so many sports.
Good Ne Waza. His parents must be proud. Next olympian!

@tamaramerkus Thanks. Did you see his MMA Highlite video ?
Noah´s real learning curve starts when he starts to lose ´to someone who is better. On longer run he should learn to fight and win hard, not easy way.
He has lost many times. At this age, he was facing kids that have been doing it longer than him. He really didn't know what he was doing, he was just more aggressive. He's about to be 18 years old in a few months. This video is 10 years old.

what belt is noah?
A lot of this move he should have not yet done at this age. Choke holds for example. He is good but not legal sometimes.
None taken. I didnt add the subs cuz Noah is only 10.. So now its 20 seconds instead of 25 secs ?

Where do you see choke holds? Hes not a white belt. In this video hes an orange belt. White and blue belts are used for scoring purposes.
Noah Alsguson Why he aint wearing the orange then? You normally wear the scoring belt over your normal one.
Sanneisa and yes he choked at 2:22.

@DR0CKA None of the kids u see fighting are white belts.
From 2:07 to 2:37, that poor kid on the bottom was in distress and the stupid ref didn't see it. WTF was he waiting for???
thats just how judo is
It's a countdown, and the kid on the bottom wasn't in danger whatsoever, he was just trying to catch the other guy's leg for him to comeback.
You obviously don’t do judo. If that kid was in danger they would tap out. Also they we trying to get a grip.
