When you wrote those excess 1 over p and 1 over q I was like what, and then I heard you screaming "Oh dear! What have I done!" and I knew I was right all along. Anyway thanks for such an elegant proof.
At 10:10 when you mention that the terms that you take out of the summation are just non-negative, wouldn't it cause issues if either of them are zero? Then we are getting a zero by zero form which to my understanding is undefined. I thought maybe we can first prove holder's inequality for the case when either of the sequences are zero and then go ahead with your proof for sequences converging to greater than zero values. Kindly let me know if my line of thought has some issue. Great video!
Just fyi in german the ö in hölder is pronounced like the o in no when you do a strong british impression but without the u. So the o in "nou". Just for anyone who'd like to know, i mean, it's really irrelevant how you say his name.
Great explanation. You explained in a way what professors do not explain in the class for this challenging and beautiful area of mathematics.
Every time you write left parenthesis, it seems like absolute value :)))
Thank you dude
Many-many thanks for such a clear and understandable explanation! appreciated
Thank you! You explained very well!
Greetings from Colombia!

U just saved my life bro.

i love the proof, mathemagical
Thanks 😊
Thank u so much
I think it's pronounced "HERL-der". Can a German person weigh in and confirm??
