Sleepwalking is definitely top tier when it comes to BMTH songs. I don't know if I personally find this song better than Sleepwalking, but it's pretty decent! Still think Dear Diary takes the cake as best song off this EP though!

This song is such an ode to Given Up by Linkin Park:

- the long faded end of the bridge

Also the rythm of the "drums" is simmilar to Papercut
This entire EP is an amazing ode to LP. The influence is so heavy and it needs more attention.
The "shut up" from One Step Closer, and the title 1x1 maybe is a reference from the song "In my remains" when Mike and Chester sing "like an army, falling, one by one by one".
Finally someone loves this song as much as I do! So many other reactors have glazed over this song but I think it is so damn good. Thanks for actually paying attention to the meaning and details in this song. Great reaction!

Chester is great, we all know this mate 🙌, but personally I can see the similarity but imo I just don't like the elcteonic sound on this album at all, like we know LP had their side like that, but it wasn't so much poppy, it was more DJ or turn table like slipknots DJ stuff, what do you think mate?

@@alecwesterholm9122 valid opinion, I personally have loved them from there deathmetal stage all the way through. I love how they’ve grown and adapted not only as musicians but as people. And still honestly one of the best lyricists out there, especially going by what’s “popular” Bring me the horizon always give me something no matter what sound they try. I mean the first song on this EP/Album IS a deathmetal song at least for the majority of it

the nova twins made a really good point about this new record in an interview; with the exception of yungblud all of the features are all women of different races. pretty badass to use their platform to put on female artists from all over the world, all different skin colors, etc.
Didn't realize that and that really is amazing. Been fans of them since Suicide Season and it's cool to see them still goin and doing better than ever and being big enough to have a platform.

I've been a fan since Count your Blessings and i never in a million years would've thought they'd get this big, be it big enough to even have a platform like u said or big enough to feature straight-up pop stars like YUNGBLUD and Halsey. I think of other deathcore bands from the same time and nobody even came close to going pop, let alone successfully making the transition to a pop band. mad props.

@@clairef.9970 he’s a pop star, I didn’t say he was a pop artist (even tho the majority of what I’ve heard from him is basically pop with some alternative aesthetic). I guess to me he sounds way closer to the pop of now than any of the punk or alternative that I grew up on.

I personally always like to listen to Itch for the Cure and Kingslayer in conjunction. The prelude is an amazing build up in my mind.

Absolutely agree. The first time I listened to this song I put it probably 2 or 3 on the album, but as I've continued listening to the album, this song has 100% become my favourite.

This song is also one of those songs that mean one thing: it's about how humanity feels guilty about destroying earth(nature, species, etc), but how it can also be interpreted as someone who's been through heavy depression. Top notch writing.

I've been waiting for you to do this one, I had hoped you liked it as much as you did. This is now my favorite from them as well, lyrically it could have been something I wrote with how much it relates. " I feel like I'm ready to die but can't commit " hit me hard. Great song, and Nova Twins put a great spin on the song, and those vocals were sick.

The moment I heard this song i kept checking the channel for your reaction and I was not disappointed. Easily my favorite from this album at least, maybe all time as well.
Absolutely the best track from the EP. Outstanding songwriting from Oliver and Company. The chorus and the verses are top notch both lyrically and melodically.

Nova Twins are so, so underrated! They are really refreshing and good for the scene, as young black women, and their music is amazing! I would suggest reacting to their song Taxi, it is amazing!

I feel like a lot of people really haven't listened properly to all the songs separately, they compare this song to other songs on the EP. But this song is an incredible grower, I felt that it was weak after listening to kingslayer, but the song alone really got me feeling some type of way every single time

interesting to hear your thoughts on sleepwalking. ive always thought of sleepwalking and shadow moses as like, a pair, maybe because I got them mixed up when I first discovered bring me the horizon, a year before thats the spirit was put out. I have to agree with the masses though. sleepwalking is a timeless, incredible track but there is something positively exceptional about shadow moses that i honestly cant put into words

Bmth has this amazing ability of making you feel the emotion in the lyrics, it happened to me with sleepwalking, it never ends, doomed and many other songs that make kind of impossible not to relate to the lyrics and the emotion of the song, and this song is one of that kind. I loved the review guys!

I found you because I was looking up reactions to the kingslayer song and although I watched a ton of UA-cam videos I find You two to be by far the most wholesome. I love how you can tell they're putting everything they've learned into this new album. So many familiar sounds from each of the albums all put into one and somehow it all sounds great.
And with Nick Gordon co-producing the album, the things they've learned along the way are just.. On a whole other level. It's such a great record.

This song was definitely a sleeper for me. For a while it was Dear Diary that was the real slapper for me, but over time the meaning behind the lyrics and song itself just sort of hit me like a mac truck. Definitely my favorite one off the EP now.
Bro this song is just next level that’s all I can say. Yes the other songs on the record may be more colorful and more layered but this one has lifetime staying power! The message and emotion behind these words are something people will always feel and be able to connect to.
