I loved your tips Jess! I have implemented most of those in my packing decisions
I have done two long summer Europe trips (5 weeks and 3 weeks) with only a carry-on and backpack and multiple destinations per trip. A couple tips that I found:
    - Traveling with only a carry-on is lovely. It makes airports, trains, ferries, everything run more smoothly. The walk from the train station to your hotel/AirBnb might be a long and over cobblestone...I have seen people struuuggle with multiple large suitcases for a 2 week trip, and then they don't end up wearing all their clothes! Plan strategically with versatility in mind!
    - do yourself a favor and don't bring wrinkle-prone materials. Or plan out Airbnbs/hotels with irons available...but I never found that I wanted to iron on vacation lol
    - Shoes are the most important and most difficult choice in my book. Research, plan, try out, break in shoes well in advance for your trip. I have needed to throw away shoes because they weren't comfortable enough and just ended up taking up space in my suitcase. Bring 2-3 pairs max, including the ones you wear on the plane
    - If you are looking to travel light, the most comfortable and versatile shoes might not be the cutest out there. They can be nice/cute, but probably not the cutest or the trendiest. A small sacrifice to pay for happy feet that let you do more and see more!
    - Again about shoes- only pack waterproof shoes... nothing worse than getting caught in a rainstorm wearing canvas sneakers and needing to continue wearing them all day long
    - Wear your heaviest and bulkiest pieces on the plane, saves a ton of room in your carry-on
    - Plan for light layers, always
    - If you are going for an extended trip and only want to bring a carry-on, planning on when you'll wash your clothes is a must. I've done it in AirBnbs and in hotel bathrooms before, complete life savor!
    - Some European countries are higher latitude than we realize and might be cooler than where you live. Plan and pack accordingly, look for temperature averages for that area for that month. Also, look at evening/morning temperatures as well as the highs.
    - Umbrellas are preferable to rain jackets (at least in the summer) since they can cover you and a purse/backpack. I found the smallest one possible at Target
    - Pack 1 purse that goes with everything, put it in your backpack when in the airport/plane to hopefully prevent the dreaded last minute mandatory carry-on check in
    - Bring combo lounge/PJ sets
    - Simplify your toiletries, bring travel sizes of everything and figure out what needs to be in the clear bag vs. what doesn't. My clear bags were packed to the brim. Bring only your make-up essentials. Remember, anything that you end up truly missing or finding that you need can be bought in a pharmacy in Europe.
There's more that I could say but these above have been life savors! Good luck out there and bon voyage!

Trying out or wearing the footwear a few times before the trip is indeed a good idea. I learned it the hard way. Haha. I went to HK with newly bought white shoes and it turned out it was uncomfortable for long walks. Found myself walking barefoot in some parts of the city 😂

Yikes, must admit to Hong- Kong is not the first place I would walk barefoot.

Great pointers to remember when planing what and how to pack for future travel plans. No travel plans at the moment, but my dream destination was Greece. I noticed higher end stuff that I lucked out finding while I am thrifting actually already have the snaps in-between the button and I love this about them because I am very heavy chested and that always been a problem unless the button up shirt is very oversized on wrap tops or dresses. This also works on I have been rolling garments in suitcases since I was old enough as a kid in the late 60s, I think my mom got it from working around Marines and also was how to make up a bed with those tight corners. This was a great video. TaTa for now!

I would be interested in seeing a video on shoulder season travel wardrobe. With dresses. I like my outfits to look different each day, not so much mix and match black and cream items. To me it feels like one concept is one outfit. As if I wore one black and cream outfit for 10 days. Also, please include merino wool outfits. I loved your video, just subscribed!

Silk scarves are a great way to put together many different outfits with a base outfit like a white top and jeans or pants. You can wear them as scarves, tops, headbands, and even skirts if they are big enough. You get a ton of options and they take up soooo little space in the suitcase.

Great video Jess❤ I always roll, my things and always pack meds, because sometimes you can’t find them. Like Benadryl in case of an allergy to something and sinus and headache meds too.

Whatever you do in southern Europe - do not use the toiletpaper to remove make- up or blow your nose chances are it’s heavily perfumed and an astma attack or the rash of the century is waiting to happen! In fact if you are staying at an appartment or similar you might want to buy yourself some unscented toilet paper and that’s not only because everyone will be able to smell your perfume á la toilet… often synthetic lilacs, Lily of the valley or eyewatering heavy rose but remember that rash I spoke of….also even if you never normally have chubbrub aka soldiers burn on vacation is a classic and hugely painful …bring bike shorts and remember your favourite menstrual stuff as well as an antibiotic if you are going on that swim.
