- Having fun putting a stainless steel case and bracelet from AliExpress on my Casio GA-2100 "CasiOak." Unboxing of what you get from AliExpress and step-by-step instructions.

Thanks! The GA2100 is awesome. I might convert it back to the original cover and straps. I miss the light weight. Both ways are fun. Easy to switch back and forth.

Just got mine today (XMAS) and its awesome! I didn't buy from Ali Express and I can't believe anyone would but it was easy to pull apart and put this right together and to make the band smaller. Easiest ever

Excellent video. A query, I want to buy the 2nd generation, but I have read that it can damage the module. If I do not install the belt adaptes (just bezel), will the module also be damaged? I have a small wrist so I avoid 3rd generation
Hi Fran. First, I believed I bought the 3rd Gen when I ordered on AliExpress. But one can never be 100% sure with the language barriers and translations. Regardless, I was happy with what I received. As for your query, I just reverted back to the original G-Shock plastic resin case cover and straps. Everything went smoothly, and I didn't see any signs of damage from the steel mod case cover and bracelet. Nothing was stripped. I assume that's what people are saying? That case mod screws are widening the original screw holes of the module? That wasn't the case for me. Hey! Please consider subscribing to my channel if you haven't already. @@MountainStandardTime The model you have is the third generation, as there are incisions (2 "inputs") for each end that connect to the belt. The second generation bezel doesn't have those inputs. Thank you for the answer

Is this the 3rd or 2nd generation? Ordered one online looks exactly like that but i know that the 3rd generation strap has the bezel and strap both attached already?

I was never a fan of G shot but then I realized there absolutely perfect for work I really like the G shock square and the G shock casioak.
It's extremely cheap on ali express compared to other websites so I'm kinda nervous about that. Especially a recent medal bezel with rubber band combo going for about £10
everyone sourcing their product from aliexpress anyway.

I don’t. It made the watch too heavy and uncomfortable. I gave the mod kit away.

blue lock-tight case screws?
I’m not a fan of Loctite. Sure, you’ll get it more secure, but I believe most watch screws behave themselves without it. Please subscribe if ya haven’t already! 😀
Is this heavy?
There is some heft to it. I measured it (3 links were taken out to fit my 7.25 inch/18.4 cm wrist. It weighs 5.2 ounces/150 grams. For comparison, I measured my 5600 GShock (not modified) and it came in at 1.9 ounces/53 grams. Thanks for watching! Please subscribe if you haven't already.
