  • Did we make the right choice?
    Here is a first time look into our van set up for mobile detailing and what we use to power our equipment.
    This is our 3-4 years of experience with only using batteries to detail client vehicles. Now we have upgraded to our new ‪@EcoFlowTech‬ Delta Pro and this is a huge game changer for us!

    Thats a nice setup! 🎉🎉 I didn’t see an extractor or a steamer in your setup though 😮 Im curious to see how quickly the delta generators will drain when heat is introduced

      I currently use a bissell little green pro portable extractor which is non heated. I am looking to test their new Steam extractor to introduce heat and keep to the compact and portable theme.
      As for the steamer, I use the McCulloch MC1375 steamer. I’ll make a video soon showing the power draw on each.

    Amazing setup! my friend! Do you know the exact model of the CAT air compressor you're running? Also, how long are you able to run the tornador before it has to refill on that thing and how long does it take each time for it to refill? Thanks

    • @IslandManDetailing
      @IslandManDetailing  4 місяці тому +1

      I currently use the California Air Tools CAT-4610AC
      It has a 1hp motor, so it takes about 50-60 seconds to refill. I’m not exactly sure. I’m always multi tasking. So when the pressure goes down, I’m working on other things while it refills. I can hold the tornados with the trigger squeezed for about 30-40 seconds until I need to let it refill.
      I’m looking to upgrade to the 2HP model and maybe bigger tank to get more run time and quicker refill time. I’d love to share your experiences.

    What type of solar panels are using the brand and what kind of connection are you using MC4? And by the way such a nice setup I also have a mobile detailing setup and I'm going to run solar on top 400 Watts to EcoFlow generator 3600 w

    • @IslandManDetailing
      @IslandManDetailing  21 день тому

      I use 2 of the RichSolar 100 Watt Monocrystalline solar panels. They are MC4 connectors.
      Thank you for the compliment! I hope your build turns out great!

    how much power do you use when using doing a full exterior and interior with the eco flow? I feel like if I had to do a full exterior and interior and a basic polish I would run that thing dead.

    • @IslandManDetailing
      @IslandManDetailing  21 день тому

      With it connected to 200 peak watts of solar, after a full exterior detail with polish and interior detail, I use only about 30% battery. Maybe a little less.

    😂😂😂26:55 With low (budget) noise, comes low (buget) power, 90cfm is not enough @65dB! A Detailing vacuum should have @ least 150cfm. Mine does 152cfm @67dB - Of course it Cost 3 times more. But it cuts time in half > Priceless!

    have you ever ran the ecoflow without solar? if so how long does it normally last?

    • @IslandManDetailing
      @IslandManDetailing  27 днів тому

      @@xxichikokoxx we have. We are still able to complete a 2-3 full vehicles. That’s using the pressure washer, vacuum, bissell extractor and recharging EGO batteries for our blowers.

    Hey man, I'm about to pick one an ecoflow delta pro (probably your version, not the new V3) for the mobile detailing business I'm about to start. Just wondering if you've run into any issues over the past four months?

    • @IslandManDetailing
      @IslandManDetailing  21 день тому +1

      @@jasonoshita4441 I had 2 issues recently.
      The first issue was that I received an error code and suddenly the screen shut off and I wasn’t able to use it at all. However, EcoFlow was very prompt on their response and turn around time when I needed to swap it for a new one. I was able to get a new one in less than a week.
      The most recent issue was that the screen sometimes gets direct sunlight. This had caused the screen to glitch and parts of the screen do not work. Fortunately, the Delta Pro connects to the EcoFlow app, so I am able to see all of the information that is necessary.
      I still highly recommend this model because it is affordable compared to the new V3 of budget is what you are looking for. And to me, it’s still reliable.

      @@IslandManDetailing thanks so much for the quick reply and the feedback. It’s hard to turn down right now. Im glad they were quick to replace. Good tip about the screen.
      Did they ever say what the error was that bricked your first unit?

    PS make sure you update your firmware on your DP as there is NO WAY it will power everything for 99 days as shown on your display, It should show 9-10 days NOT 99.

    • @IslandManDetailing
      @IslandManDetailing  4 місяці тому +2

      I’ve noticed that. It also doesn’t run very well if firmware isn’t updated. Just updated not too long ago and is not working great. Thank you.

    Is the suction power of the Rigid stronger compared to your Dewalt?

    • @IslandManDetailing
      @IslandManDetailing  4 місяці тому

      The DeWalt and my previous 4gal Ridgid vacuum have about the same suction power. With the numbers, the DeWalt is at 105CFM and the Ridgid is slightly stronger with 110CFM.

    What kind of solar panels you have?

    • @IslandManDetailing
      @IslandManDetailing  4 місяці тому

      I don’t recall the brand. They are 100 watt panels. So in total and peak solar is producing about 200 watts with both panels.

    Will the eco Delta 1300 be able to do 3 cars, just using it with the pressure washer and vacuum?

    • @IslandManDetailing
      @IslandManDetailing  21 день тому +1

      Depending on the pressure washer and the power draw. I would safely say that you can do 2 vehicles using a pressure washer and vacuum.
      Efficiency in your work is what would really determine how much you can really do. Some days I could do 3 vehicles with just one of them. Other days maybe just 1 or 2 if they’re pretty bad.
