Had very bad experiences with Toyota dealerships and Toyota customer service. Ended up selling my 2012 Sienna and going with a 2024 Odyssey. No regrets. The EX-L trim comes with tons of standard features, including moonroof, leather seats, heated seats, heated mirrors, led lights, power lift gate, and more. The V6 is fun to drive. Highly recommend the Odyssey.
me too, I Had very bad experiences with Toyota dealerships and Toyota customer service last year, never go back to toyota anymore!!
Toyota told us to sign a wait list and write down what we were putting down and could pay. What did you pay? We just got a Touring for $41K last Saturday. My first Honda. Gas milage seems awful so far. But I drive a hybrid.

Is that 41k OTD? Still, you got an amazing deal. I got the white pearl EX-L at MSRP ($42,700). Dealer wouldn't negotiate at all since we took their 0% APR for 48 months offer. I'm OK with that. We didn't look at the higher trims since our kids are all adults now and we don't need any of those features. Didn't even need a minivan but liked the comfort and convenience so chose it over a truck 🙂
@@xrs2107 Yup. Glad you like it. We have kids so we need the space. We put like 6K down. We got it originally for $48K but they called us yesterday and gave us 7k off! So it came to $41. My wife will only drive a minivan and Toyota told us to hurry up and wait too like everyone else. But of course they wanted to know what we were willing to pay and put down too. So I'm betting they are calling the people who said they would pay cash and shit.
Bruh the Sienna is 38000 and odyssey is 43000
No one is talking how hilarious he is wjth music references😂😂😂
Love your energy, you’re hilarious
Looking to replace our older Toyota Sienna and the feature that will probably cause us to buy an Odyssey is that their 2nd row seats are still removeable without tools. Toyota changed their design such that the second row seats are huge pain to remove.
Bought a 22 Odyssey. Love the van. Still on a list for a new Sienna (the wait is fricken unbelievable for the Toyota in Canada). I want the Sienna for AWD and better MPG.
The Honda has spectacular mpg on the highway. We averaged 34-36mpg in our Honda. City, not so much just drive in ECO.
Not sure if i want the Toyota (for the extra $$$ it costs)when it comes in.
Hopefully Honda figured out how to cure the rest issues which occur on All Odysseys which have ever been sold
The problem with the Sienna is you can't find one without a wait and most of the ones that do come in are marked up by thousands so that you'll never make up the initial cost difference over a similar trim Odessey with the gas savings. The Odessey also has a more versatile interior since you can get 8 seats on all trims (Sienna locks you into 7 for many) and has a removable middle row. If the Sienna was readily available at MSRP, it'd be a very compelling choice. Both are in serious need of an update infotainment wise as they really lag behind some of the companies other vehicles.
Well y do u think sienna is hard to get and marked up
Very simple
The dealers know the importance and value
The marking up is a old scam that i remember.
But thats their game
While honda probably
sells one ody vs10 toyota sienna
One cannot beat toyota/lexus quality, reliability and value
Also toyota sienna comes as a hybrid and all wheel drive
That ody is not so my money is alwayz on toyota sienna
No brainer
I drove Odyssey to snow resorts and no issues. Odyssey is also better in acceleration, build quality and better value without battery troubles down the road.
@@georgiaguardian4696the Odyssey is comparable in terms of build quality, not better by objective standards and as evidenced by published repair, maintenance and recalls over the years (both have been around so long it's an easy comparison). However, Toyota has been building hybrids so long they've become the industry benchmark with proven reliability and longevity with their hybrid systems and battery usage.
We prefer a fridge in between the 1sr row chairs i stead of so many cup holders and little storage their !!!!!
wish Toyota kept the V6 for the current Sienna Especially for XSE
Honda Oddessy is the better pick. Test drove both, the sienna was a terrible and loud drive. I never considered an Oddessy until I test drove one and I was sold.
Same here! Went to buy Sienna but after test driving and limited availability of Sienna! I bought the Odyssey and really loving it.
@@avanishpatel4936but you have to shed more 💵 on gas, because hybrid is non existent on sienna
@@jeffreylising6958I average 25 mpg, so when you actually put the pen to paper to the cost difference between vans, it doesn't equal out. You're still paying more for sienna especially with markups, as I calculated how much I drive per year x cost of gas. The Honda is still a better deal.
Sienna would be best...but they're not making enough of them. If you need a minivan, you can get a Honda way easier. Toyota needs to address that. My sis ended up with the Honda and she likes it. The biggest difference is availability...
It seems planned. To get as much as possible for them. Or to get people to buy other mini vans. Because we were told to sit and wait at Toyota too.
Honda any time any day
I got 40 mph on my sienna and enough power ,to me it's no brainer until Honda comes out with hybrid.
I wish you would do an apples to apples comparison between a Honda Odyssey Elite vs. a Toyota Sienna Platinum.
This guy friggin rules 😂
Toyota gets you better mileage honda gets you a better drive
My wife wants a Sienna but it’s nearly impossible to find the one she wants. I can’t believe how low the availability is on a minivan.
And if you can find one its a markup
Yes, the dealers ask for crazy markup on MSRP for Sienna. If you drive on highways then the difference in fuel economy is not that huge with hybrid Sienna and Odyssey. You will able to get Odyssey as MSRP OTD. The 10 speed automatic of Honda it way better than eCVT of Toyota. When you drive with full family you feel on highways that Sienna lacks the power.
@@avanishpatel4936 Honda is now about 3K below MSRP
Honda Odyssey is better in almost every way.
Jeff, I will take the 35 mpg Sienna with AWD.
I wanted to buy the Sienna but when I test drove an xle it had lots of rattles and drove like a cargo van. When I looked at the Odyssey I couldn’t find a comfortable seating position. I’m 6’1’’ with long legs. Any suggestions? 🤷🏻♂️ I have a 2015 Highlander with 100k miles and it’s very comfortable for my wife and I and our two little boys.
Carnival?
I was a Hyundai service advisor. Never!
I'm surprised, my husband is 6'3" and we went with the Odyssey precisely because of headroom and space compared to others. Sienna wasnt an option because the passenger seat didn't lower due to the battery underneath and he simply didn't fit.
Hybrid odyssey when?
For sure Sienna 😊
I've had the older version of both. Just something about toyta vehicles that I like a little better. But both make good vehicles.
The Honda Vac in my 2016 odyssey limited edition is superior!
Me gusta minivan para Hna Lubia
I had Sienna 2022 XSE before, I was in a car accident, ua-cam.com/users/shortspB5hAPmXpZc?si=9cPQ6cnUCZBXjEgR I found there is no knee airbag, I have odyssey 2024 black edition now, there is dvd player and lcd monitor in middle row, I found it no use. Sienna 2022 is hybrid, it can save a lot in gas.
Honda all the way ❤
Sienna shits on Honda. Bring the Actual one from Japan
Odyssey > Sienna
Honda
Honda rubber timing belt and interference engine…
Neither of the 2024 models have the quality of the earlier models. I prefer my 2010 model over this newer stuff.
Thry dont make the Odyssey in AWD 😡
I would definitely go with the Toyota Sienna. Much better looking: Sporty and nicer wheels.
How is the car with far less power the sporty one?
Its a family minivan
How fast do u want to go with family members, its not a lambo lol
@@plusblood5101as fast as one with a V6 engine
The odyseey is bigger and faster
Sienna AWD all day....
Odyssey
my Toyota Sienna can drive over 1000km for a full tank gas
18x35= 630 miles. Your math doesn’t match up sir
@@nicktruong6984look at the units being used, his math is mathing. You are both correct using different units from different systems.
Sienna is more reliable
The Sienna is just SO UGLY. That giant grille and bulbous nose look ridiculous. Odyssey is at least not embarrassing to drive.
Fuck Toyota, Buy new Odyssey or Carnival
I moved away from Honda van to Toyota van because Toyota Sienna is an AWD while the Odessey is only a FWD and not a Hybrid system.
