One thing I've advocated for a lot of users who prefer clear or tinted clear resins are a UV-inhibitor topcoat. One I've used for years and years comes under Krylon K01305 as a sealant for canvas prints (US brand, not sure if they're global but is available on Amazon, pick your gloss level) but it makes a tremendous difference in shelf longevity and clarity. The yellowing is a side effect of the particular photoinitiator a manufacturer uses, as most of the cheap ones are yellow, while the more expensive ones are mostly white. Untreated more affordable clear resins will yellow more and more over time, but even the good ones will oxidize to some effect depending on your locale and air quality.
Hello and greetings from Vienna After a break of 30 years i returned tu kit building and painting again I get my prints from Italy and i enjoy this hobby very much Those 30 years ago there only existed the David Fisher dvds and the magazines Now youtube is full and especially your videos are a lot of inspiration and advice!! Just fir example i built the manspider, Mephisto, Kraven and Wolverinebust etc Whenever i am looking youtube the first step is to look for a new video on your channel So thanks for your good work and inspiration Senior Mike (Age74😀)
Anthony my dude! Dammmm! This is magic! We love how the diorama looks! ❤ The transparent resin looks amazing on Predator! You have taken it to another level! Congratulations!
weather the boots ... with mud on the ground, there would be dust and mud on the boots ... love the diorama idea ... and printing the predator in clear is top idea ...
@@markmcguire6984 airbrushed it with some skeleton bone colour paint covered it all over with that and then I just dry brushed the net with some leather brown
Awesome work, I cant help but feel that predator would have looked more defined though with a really light spraying of nuln oil in some areas, might have to get some clear resin and see if it works!

Ill try print hollow. You wont get supports inside if you add supprts first then hollow it. This will look even more transparent then i think
But will it print ?? Maybe islands inside

I'd like to see the result of that 👍
I would love to see how clear the predator is in a couple of months
Fair comment.... The guys from Jamghe are very confident it'll stay clear...
What do you use to seal the paint be for add a wash or highlightes to it?
I use rustoleum clear
Do you hollow out the clear or print it solid?
Usually print it solid 👍
