- Laura Branigan being interviewed on "TMT" in 1983, she discusses her new single "Solitaire" and her tough past trying to make it in the music industry. Sorry about the poor video quality
English subtitles [cc] available.
Sorry for the poor quality... If you have been subscribed to this channel for a long time you may have seen this before, as I had uploaded an even worse version before... it's always better than nothing. Next will be a new interview - that looks way better!
We love anything and everything you post up of laura! Thank you 😃
I wish I could find an original tour shirt from one of laura tours! 💃🎙🎶🎵👠

Directo al baúl de los recuerdos ❤🥺
This interview is new to me. Thanks for uploading as I must have missed the first time you did. Interesting that Laura auditioned to be in "Streets of Fire". It would have been very interesting to hear her vocals on "Tonight Is What It Means To be Young", "Nowhere Fast" and "Sorcerer". Laura and Jim Steinman's production could have possibilities of greatness or maybe have been too much.
Artista unica.voz unica.super hermosa😍
Que gran perdida. Fenomenalnartista, una voz maravillosa y extremadamente hermosa. Te amaba diosa
Thank you! Excellent job! Don´t worry about the quality, because we know these videos are very hard to find anywhere. So, really it´s a jewell for us. We see you in the next Laura´s song :)
I miss her.
She’s so gorgeous
Wow had no idea she was up for Streets Of Fire. She would have been great doing those songs.
Pretty woman
Squeeze Box?? haha
didn't she know...."Wow. If taking the non-sexual interpretation, a squeeze box is an accordion, and the "in and out" is what you do while playing an accordion... Of course, the song is really about sex, with squeeze box most probably being her breasts, and the in and out referring to intercourse."
Pete said, “I had bought myself an accordion and learned to play it one afternoon,” adding, “The accordion gave the song a polka-esque rhythm and the lyrics, which I wrote for fun, were intended as a poorly aimed dirty joke. I had no thought of it ever becoming a hit but amazingly recorded by The Who to my disbelief. Further incredulity was caused when it became a hit for us in the USA.”
