One of Laura Branigan's interviews with Entertainment Tonight, 1984. She discusses the video for her new single "Self Control" and the controversy surrounding it at the time.
The music video was directed by William Friedkin, it was ultimately edited due to concerns of the video not being played on TV due to it's sexual content and themes.
*The biography page at the end of the video contains false information spread by her record company at the time. Laura's correct birth date is July 3, 1952. She was born in Mount Kisco, New York.

Are you 100% sure the music video didn't air by 1984? I couldn't really find the information about that but I would need to have it for a novel I'm writing. I need to be very accurate on a lot of facts from that time period.
