I just received my brand new Byrna LE in the mail. I like it and I am very impressed with the quality. It's not a cheaply priced item but on the other hand, it also is not a cheaply made item. I also ordered a ten count box of extra co2 12 gram propellent canisters with one of the canisters containing some oil in the co2 to lubricate the launcher, and also, a cleaning kit for the launcher.
One thing I have never yet heard mention of by anyone is the fact that the operating sound is quiet enough to where I will not need hearing protection to protect my hearing, (or what's left of it, as I am a sufferer of tinnitus), within an enclosed area, like in the house. My biggest concern with using my .357 S&W pistol would be the issue with the hearing damage that could be involved with it if a situation where to arise where close quarter enclosed area usage would be required, and fumbling around for a hearing protective headset or ear plugs during a possible invasive situation of my home would consume critical time in a defensive situation. I would not subconsciously be worrying about the hearing damage with the Byrna, and focusing on hitting the target should be a more likely outcome. My tinnitus infliction of the ears will not be affected and worsened. This also would help if it were needed inside of a vehicle, in case of an intended car jacking.
Also, I like camping in the Colorado Rockies bear country, and I truly believe that the Byrna less lethal will ward off the inquisitive bears at night, and saving them and possibly myself some unwanted injuries, and also avoiding having to fire off a round or so from a firearm into the dark, as Joe Biden would suggest that you do,- 'like off of the porch with a shotgun. 😅

As much as I love my less lethal options, I wouldn't ever try to deal with the Mexican cartels using less lethal tools.
No one said it was to deal with cartels. The video is referring to illegals crossing. You don't want to use deadly force on a person just crossing the border illegally.

get a FSC or pepperball TCP and mod it up to 50 Joules. blows a 11 joule byrna out the water. Byrna is weakest on the market
