I agree with other viewers, NO NEED TO CHANGE THE CHANNEL -- why always think it has to be snazzier, more exciting, etc. We watch for the relaxing SAMENESS, the predictable mood of quiet and dark and cozy, there is too much frenzy and excitment out there in the world, we need this type of channel for calming sanity! You have a lot of subscribers now and it's because they all enjoy your content THE WAY IT IS. Hugs! Thank you for being yourself!
EXACTLY!!! I instantly (selfishly) thought "aww, man - there goes another content creator changing what's working" simply because of what @purseypurslane stated - we are here because we know the feeling we will have while watching and post video. I literally make a cup of tea and sit with a cozy blanket to watch your videos. Yes, it's your channel so evolve as you wish/need but please KNOW this subscriber LOVES & Appreciates your channel as it is. oxoxoxoxoxo @@CeciliaBlomdahl
Don't underestimate the power of your personality, Cecilia. People love the northern lights, the hikes, the headlamp illuminating the snowflakes, the glittering village surrounded by the dark, the cozy minimalist cabin etc., but we also love you. You're so comfortable in your own skin, upbeat and loving, and yet down-to-earth. Btw, I read Stoner because of you. Thank-you. That ending!
This is so true, after awhile people tune in to their favorite channels not because of the "content" because they just want to hang out with this person, like Cecilia, Christoffer and Grim.
@@nancyneyedly4587 YES! This is exactly how I feel. It's like Svalbard is my home away from home and every sunday I'm waiting with anticipation to get to that comforting space with three of my favourite people in the world!
Just repeating what others have already written: Don't change a thing! I so much enjoy the soothing repetitiveness of life on Svalbard, the quiet, slow pace, the long seasons. We can find travelogues all over UA-cam, but nowhere else can we settle into day-to-day life near the north pole. I come here for what you've been offering up to now. I'm never bored and I don't miss a thing.
I affirm what other viewers are saying. Life in Svalbard is why I subscribed to your channel. Your videos are something I look forward to very much - they help me unwind, feel cozy, and like I’m talking with a friend. You have a wonderful and calming personality. Your channel doesn’t need a change, we love it as is! 💕
The simple “Come with me as I live life” and your unbridled enthusiasm for the simple, everyday things is what brought me here. I need this bit of calm in the midst of the chaos of life ❤
I think 99.99% of us are here BECAUSE it’s daily life on Svalbard with you, Christoffer and Grim. And I'm one of those subscribers who has been here a reaaaaally long time. Your content is pure JOY for me -- something I look forward to every Sunday. I understand the desire to keep things fresh but don’t change too much. I think your 780k+ subscribers are here because of your authentic, quality, interesting, and cosy content!
I’m a 77 year old homemaker who loves to travel via my iPad and I so enjoy your channel seeing the beauty of everything Svalbard. You give me such joy to see places far away that I will never get to see myself. I look forward to you taking us with you on future trips wherever you go. It’s been very frigid here in Northern Illinois but I have been getting closets and drawers organized while staying indoors in the warm. You help me see the beauty in winter, the snow and cozy times of reading and reflection. Thank you!!
Hi Cecelia, I love your chanel. I live in Australia and it's summer here, the day starts at 4am with birds waking you up. I love seeing your chanel it is so different to where I live. I would love to see adventurers in Norway. We went there on a cruise in 2014 and would love to see more of the country.
We are literally here for "repetitiveness" lol. I'm pretty sure you changed the way majority of us feel about winter and we are enjoying this time of year more because of you. Your beautiful energy is enough to keep me here. You don't need to change anything. I would listen to you no matter where you are and what you do because you put so much love into everything you do. 🌟Svalbard doesn't need daylight or sunshine. You are there for that. 💖
Definitely agree! I’ve struggled with winter for years- depression & illness every January/ February (in the U.K. so it’s understandable!!) no matter how I’ve approached it - but seeing the polar night really puts it in perspective but also Cecilia’s sense of wonder at it and ways of coping with & enjoying it, have really helped me.
Long-time listener, first-time caller: I consider your videos to be in the genre, “Slow Living”. This is my third Polar Nite with you, Christofer and Grimm. Some of the topics of videos have remained the same, and some things have changed, from year to year. Not only do I find this interesting, I find it calming and reassuring in an overly dynamic world. My personal life is filled with more joy when I slow down, find the cycles of my own experience, and observe the inevitable differences from year to year. I’m reassured of my path when I can see and observe others reveling in their slower pace, when I am frequently told I should be having it all. An uncomplicated life can be a life richly and deeply enjoyed. I like the idea of seeing some of The Cabins available on mainland Norway👍
100% agree with all of this! Slow living, hygge in the winter, watching the calmness in the dark on Svalbard... it brings peace to my soul. Would also love to see anything on mainland Norway. I've been to Oslo many times and need to get my behind up further north (or south to Cecilia haha).
I’m 70 and enjoy your channel. I live in Kansas and it has been so fun to see a place so different from here. I love the day to day. The incredible beauty. Sweet Grim ❤
I purchased 5 strings of fairy lights and put them on top of kitchen cabinets. My kids took one look and said "You're going full Cecilia!" We all love your channel.
Your channel is amazing. Amazing. Please don't let the feelings of repetition eat you up. If anyone else filmed their life and put it on you tube they would also get comments of ....this is just repeating... Your channel is amazing. You have brought over 700 thousand people to Svalbard. I love your channel. ❤❤❤ Repetitiveness is a way of life. Thankyou for this chat. From Scotland UK with love... William
I’m so happy you’re staying around! Do you realize that you give us a connection to check what life is like in another part of the world, especially those of us who can’t travel! I so enjoy your channel, I get a kick out of you…you always make me smile and laugh! Such an education I get from you so THANK YOU! 😉
Perfect the way it is, the way you are. My dear friend and I traveled to Svalbard Oct 16-24 2023. We just missed you and Christoffer, I think you were on an ocean trip. We came because of your vlog and the way you presented the unique environment. We did our homework. Went on the Berg for 3 hr cruise in 9 foot swells(just after that storm that rolled thru Longyearbyen), hit Huskies Cafe, went to the museum with the sealskins room and expedition exhibits, ate reindeer stew from the Bistro in the Radisson, ate breakfast while watching people walk to school at UNIS, oh Cecilia, we had the best time. It was icy, magical. Oct 21 we saw the Northern Lights from the water aboard the Berg, the hydrofoil catamaran. Listen we are not rich. We are two retired nurses who worked hard, raised families, and this was our bucket list. Mine anyway. Svalbard is a very special place and you do a great job of showing us all why. Please keep it up, but at a pace that doesn't consume you. Work-life balance, as they say. I feel as though I know you but that is due to your skill as a vlogger. I appreciate your very natural, upbeat and matter-of-fact personality. A wonderful complement to Christoffer's calm and "Zen Master-like" approach to living. It's a joy to watch your channel, and thank you for introducing this retired nurse from California, USA, to the beauty of Svalbard, Norway. I will never forget it.
I love your comment. Polar night in Svalbard is on my bucket list. We are not big outdoor people, but I’d love to experience polar night, eat good food, visit the huskie cafe…and see the northern lights of course. Thank you for sharing your experience ♥️
Your channel doesn't need any change at all. A slice of life from a land that's literally "far, far away" from where I live is why I am subbed. I make sure to watch every video and every short. In all likelyhood I'll never travel anywhere near Svalbard, your videos help me personally to see what life is like in a very different land.
You could literally read books to us, and I'd be happy. Your voice is musical and calming at the same time. Christoffer is laid back yet strong and firm. Grim is the sweetest boy that is loved so much. You never need to change for us, Cecelia. Your ride or die crew will always be here for you no matter what. God bless. ❤😊
Cecilia, it may very well be polar night, but your personality absolutely shines through. You have a gift of being able to just chat and make it so interesting, even though you are alone. Every video is full of life on your small piece of paradise. Such a unique lifestyle and one that most people would envy. Just being yourself is enough for your followers to keep us all hooked. Thank you for sharing and caring.
I agree, I look forward to your video's ALL the time. They are so calming and relaxing. You obviously love what you are doing so don't change anything , keep up your work.
I was so worried you were going to say you had to stop! Relieved beyond measure that's not the case. Talk about a provocative title!!! Try not to put pressure on yourself to be more. You are enough. You are perfect, and we love you as you are Cecilia ❤
Hello from North Dakota! I agree you have definitely made me have a different outlook on winter. I now tell my kids “Svalbard says (they call you Svalbard not Cecilia 😂) there’s no bad weather only bad clothing”)
I was getting worried when it announced "the future of this channel", but it seems you're not stopping it. I love the repetition. It's like everyday life and celebrating that, which is great. I thought "Grim" was an odd name for a dog but then we have the brothers Grimm and also the town of Grimsby here in the UK, which means "Grim's town", with the by ending like byen, from Viking times! Don't change a thing!!
Cecilia don’t change a thing! My daughter started watching your channel & told me about it. She would call me & say hi I’m Cecilia from Svalbard lol That was 5 yrs ago. I had a TIA aka mini stroke & I was so tired/weak. She had me watch you on my iPad as I was recovering & I looked forward to watching you. The music, photography, Grim, Christoffer, you & your adventures touch my soul. Your channel still touches me every time I watch it ❤ So from NW Ohio near Great Lake Erie US…..we love you all ❤❤
I like your channel bc it's the way it is NOW. Peaceful. Calm. Unhurried. I find comfort in watching you and listening to your voice and seeing Grimm and Christopher. Please don't change!!! ❤
Please don't change the channel. It's so peaceful with you like this. I save these videos for when I just need to sit and calm myself and rest. We love you Cecilia.
Cecilia please don’t feel the need to change the channel in any way, it’s like having a nice chat with a good friend in a really cool house that I’d love to come and visit sometime. You are wonderful and so unique!
Your channel is relaxing! The world is really stressful, so it's nice to have somewhere to come and just... rest. You and Camping with Steve are such comforting channels. Repetition is okay. :) It's reality.
I got this cecilian link from a friend ( hey m), and watch it to lighten up my day 🥶and stay warm and makes me thinking; It works very well to watch this. Keep on repeating. 🐻❄
Hi Cecilia, your videos have absolutely changed how I experience winter. From adding more cozy lights and candles in my home, to embracing "hibernating" as well as getting outside even in terrible weather. This is the second polar night I've been following you and hearing you speak about how winter is a time of rest & recharge is always a great reminder. Thank you! 🙏🏻❄️
I'm 73 years old and to listen to people on UA-cam from all over the world never ever gets old. Love listening to your book choices. At this age, if I read I fall asleep, so I tend to listen to audibles while driving. I'm intrigued with the book that you stated you still think about and will try that one (I have to look back for the title). After these last 3 crazy years in America and all around the world, you are a breath of really fresh air. Keep it up. Love to you and your human and fur family. I'll never get to the North Pole, but now I have at least experienced it. Stay healthy and enjoy life as it goes by too fast!
My Cecilia wish list for the year: 1. More videos of mainland Norway 2. More videos including traditional Norwegian restaurants and bakeries 3. Video of your home town in Sweden 4. Video collab with Jonna Jinton 5. Svalbard calendar with local nature and wildlife 6. More interviews with Svalbard locals 7. A trip to the Svalbard library Have a great week! Love from SoCal 🌞
I love the seasonality of your channel. It is repetitive year by year but because we are experiencing the seasons with you it feels like the natural flow of life in a different place which is lovely.
Original Cecilia/ Svalbard viewer here. I’ve been watching you for years and I’ve enjoyed every😊 moment. I love the idea of darkness all day long. It looks cozy, comforting, relaxing. It’s a cuppa hot chocolate and a good book. Thank you for bringing this to us. From Florida!
I’ve been following you since the almost beginning. Your videos are always different. Sun, dark, adventurous, chill, cooking, reading, boats, planes, snow, ice, swimming, Grim, Christofer, we love it all because of YOU. You and your videography capture everything perfectly and make us feel like we are all there with you. Your lovely personality and voice are what draws everyone to you. 100 or 1,000,000 followers - you are still YOU. Whatever you choose to do, take us with you and we’ll love it. 💕💕 Thanks Cecilia!!
Like so many others, I agree that your videos are popular for a reason. I never understood how my wife could watch people on UA-cam and just follow their lives, I didn't see what she saw in it, until I stumbled across your channel. Honestly, the calmness and simplicity, mixed in with some adventure, laughs, trips out, weather...all that stuff is why people are here, and somehow it never gets old!
Tak for jer begge to Cecilia og Cristoffer.
This channel is my zen. You’re my only companion when I work late at night in my office and everyone is asleep. Your videos bring me so much peace and appreciation towards nature.❤️
#CeciliaBlomdahl PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do NOT change your channel for anybody! They must be BRAINless to not be interested in #Svalbard at nearly the tip of our planet at one end of our poles (north and south) Not only do you show us ALL how you live in such a DIVERSE place but all the little things in between too. All I want is LOOOOOONGER videos LOLOL I am so happy that I found your channel and Grim is such a cry-baby! LOL Good luck and I PRAYYYYYY you are doing a LIVE Christmas video! Thank you from SCOTLAND ♥♥♥
Your channel is like a warm blanket on a cold day. It’s so calming and simple. It helps me to relax and forget the urban environment I live in. We love your story and the way you tell it. Thank you so much for introducing Svalbard to all of us. It’s a special place.
I love the "repetitive" (i dont think they are) videos they are so calming and I often rewatch older videos of just hanging out in svalbard or cabin trips :)
I, for one, love the repetition here! I love seeing your day to day and how you thrive there. I loved the videos you used to do on cabin reset days, day / life in the week, what you eat etc. I’d love to hear more about you how prioritize fitness and movement. It’s so inspiring to see you go to the gym, no matter the weather. I’d say do whatever is fun for you to create - and we’ll all be here to watch ❤️
Also agree with others here - there's no need to be flashy or "up your game" when you live in such a magical & wondrous place that most of us will never see in person. I for one love being transported to Svalbard if only in spirit when I watch you. That's all I need. And I love your personality - no frills, down-to-earth, & kind. Keep doing more of the same, Cecilia.
You absolutely have helped me endure winter with a different mindset. I live in Minnesota in the U.S. and we get pretty cold, miserable winters that never seem to end. Since watching you I have started to look at it more of a time to be cozy and slow down and enjoy things. I still don't enjoy going out in the cold, but I can appreciate to cozy side of winter now. I've been doing lots of knitting, reading, lighting candles, and drinking cups of warm coffee and tea. Thank you for sharing your beautiful outlook on life with us all. You help more than you know. 🩷
I come back to your channel for exactly the kind of life-style content that pleases most of your other viewers. Your ideas do sound intriguing (meet the locals, navigating a really big snowstorm, exploring new cabins and hikes, etc) so I would be happy if you shared those experiences, but I am basically just charmed by learning how you live in such extreme circumstances, and cope with the kinds of challenges most of us never meet. And of course, discovering the beauty of Svalbard is a huge bonus.
Hi Cecilia! I may not experience polar night, but I did move recently to the Northeast US and was struggling with the intense winters…until I found your channel!! Thanks to you, I learned to value winter as a special time to rest, relax, create, self-care, and spend happy times with my loved ones, instead of beating myself up for not being as “productive”or outgoing as I am in other seasons. Also I feel like on UA-cam, it’s easy to find crazy, insane, thrilling content but you provide us all with a much rarer gift; a calm, cozy, warm, authentic, space to come together and share a part of your unique life experience. You are so kind and lovely, your family is wonderful, and your channel is a treasure.
This! We don't get polar night in Scotland, but deary me, the Seasonal Affective Disorder hits hard and lasts until March. So these videos are almost "how not to let the SAD win"
You are so fun and lively, completely natural, adventurous, intelligent and humorous. I can’t imagine not being absolutely enchanted with your videos. Thank you for your work!
I'm visiting Singapore right now at 1°N. Every single day of the year the sun rises at 06:04 and sets at 18:04. Never a variation. And there is no dusk or twilight. The sun rises straight up , perpendicular to the horizon, and sets the same in reverse. It goes from pitch black to broad daylight in 4 minutes! So it's wild to see your version of winter. I'm really enjoying it. And yes, do some hiking in Senja in Trøms fylke. I've not been there but I'm dying to go.
Sundays with you three are like a weekly coffee date with friends! Every video makes me laugh, tear up, and take a moment to appreciate my own surroundings. You are teaching us about the beauty of our world and how much serenity and comfort comes from some repetition. We love you guys! ❤
Please Cecilia, don't change anything! My husband and I profoundly enjoy watching you and Kristoffer every Sunday. It gives us a sense of "saneness" in all the craziness... we love both of you and have enjoyed trying your recipes
Was so scared based on the title of this video! I love the “repetitiveness” of this channel. I love this channel for its cozy vibes and the feeling of catching up with a friend. People making those comments are missing the point of your videos. You can’t appease everyone. Your channel is the only one I routinely watch every Sunday. Xoxo
There is something in my Nordic core that responds to the beauty and the comfort of nature, water, sky, SILENCE, monitoring the light, monitoring the dark, smells of baked goods, the acceleration of a boat motor or snowmobile, FIRE, a warm drink, crispness, REFLECTION, savoring simplicity (less can be more), chillin' in warm coziness, exploration with exhilaration, COFFEE, coffee with friends!, fresh air, X-Country skiing, a cold beer, holiday rituals, common sense, ice, snow, wind, grilled fish, and so on. Keep it coming. It is heaven on earth for me to see and experience through your five senses. Thank you. I very rarely COMMENT on a UA-cam video, but just have to respond today that I'm curious if other viewers who have Nordic roots find an innate contentment and familiarity that they didn't even expect by immersing in your content. In the late 19th century, all four of my grandparents came from Finland to northern Minnesota in the U.S. -- where I grew up not far from the Canadian border. I've spent most of my adult life in the Twin Cities (Minneapolis/St. Paul) with some longer summer and some shorter winter days.
Both meeting the locals and seeing the cabins in Norway sound awesome, as does the boat trip. I however simply enjoy it all, including what you call repetitive vlogs, because nothing seems repetitive to me. It all allows me to escape to this awesome place I dream of. Then there's Grim!!🤗💞 I look forward to seeing him in each vlog and love him so very much. Thank you to the both you and Christopher (and Grim, too) for this wonderful channel.
I have totally changed how I feel about the darker months because of you. I’ve put lights up all over my apartment and have tons of battery operated candles so it feels so cozy. It’s helped my mindset so much. I have always loved the winter but now I’ve embraced it so much more. Thank you ♥️
I love all your videos. If they are repetitive then it’s in the best possible way. I never get tired of the scenery and can never ever get enough Grim. I love your chats , Christopher cooking, travels, etc. it’s all good.
Hi. It's -41 C at 7:35am in my small village in the Yukon. Not quite as dark but many hours of darkness and I love it. When it's this cold, it's nice to cuddle up under the duvets and watch youtube. I need to start reading again. I miss it but can't seem to concentrate enough. Cuddles to gorgeous Grim. Much love.
Because of you I’ve put little lights in my office and bedroom. They give off a happier atmosphere, especially on darker, cold, yucky, Texas days like today and the next 4, according to my weather app. I would love to see more interviews of locals, like business owners, teachers, coaches, etc to know how and why they ended up there. Love your channel!
I could watch your videos for another 10 years and I would never get bored. Someone said it is repetetive but that's why I love in your channel. Life as it is and it is so comforting and relaxing to watch. ❤❤❤
This family were here with you from the start , we loved it and continue to love it, my husband bought me a wedding anniversary present from your jewler , a polar bear wedding ring we’ve been together for over 40 years 😊we were married on Christmas Eve lol ..so continue with your adventures we will always support you 😊
A USA musician family member just visited Svalbard this fall, performing in the Dark Season Blues Festival. He loved his time there! Then your videos appeared on my feed. I shared one where you went into town; he told me where the stores and Post Office were; he told me about his walks around town, hiking to look down on the town, and how much he loved his visit. I enjoy your videos sooo much! Daily life in Svalbard, how the town gets things done, how you plan and manage in such a remote location. Thank you for sharing!!!!
I’m Irish, born and raised in CA. I have always loved winter. I love dark days, stormy weather, and cold. I get depressed in the summer - the constant sun and heat is very, very hard on me. By September I’m very blue, but now that I’m retired, I flee the sun and spend a month up in the mountains of NC. I lived a decade in MN and loved the four seasons. Winter never bothered me; I found much of it magical. I think I’d like Svalbard in the Polar Night.
Same story only more Viking/Celtic-from CA to NC and love cool dark mountains while hate the light and heat, sleep more during the day and up at night. I’d love being where you are and watching you gives me the winters I need when I’m too tied here to ever move. Thank you Cecilia, and Hey, @Fiftynine414 from another California Girl on the north side of Guilford County. We can be miserable all April thru September together waiting for October and know we’re not alone. Here’s to one good snow this year!
It’s 7 degrees here and I’m in the USA, I’m 80, love your channel and I’m sitting here saying I’m freezing you would sweat. So why do I watch your channel, for the beauty you have shown, the fantasy of being you and the joy in where you live. Life can be a routine for many, your routine is far from many of us and that’s the beauty of watching you. ❤
GIRL! Show us the very real very rough arctic, but stay safe! I love your channel -- honestly just the sweeping shots of the beautiful landscape and your thoughtful, calm narration keeps me coming back. Have a wonderful vacation!
I love the comfort and joy in your enjoying your everyday life and celebrating the little things. It helps me remember to do the same in my life. You do you!
First I want to say that I really like you as a person and have seen many (years back) of your fine videos on my old account, but I think they are running in (cozy life) circles now and becoming more the same with polar night, polar bear, northern lights, night all day, close to the North Pole (1316 km!) thumb nails likeness and alot of cozy. So nice to hear you have new adventures planning and challenge yourself more, like with the real Svalbard roughness trips. All the best and bless you Cecilia.
I absolutely LOVE how you treat Grim❤ I am the same exact way with my dog. I wish people realized how much feelings dogs truly have. I commend your dedication to Grim and his mental space:-) Amazing dog owners are a bit rare, unfortunately. It speaks volumes of you and Christopher’s character. I just wanted to let you know❤
Your channel showed me a part of the world id never get to see otherwise. A whole way of life different from my own that I'd never experience. Please don't go. Thank you for this channel.
Don't let the ever changing, everyone trying to one up each other social media make you think you have to evolve in some way or push you to change something that is already perfect. This is you and we love it ❤
I love your channel and content. I don’t think your content is repetitive at all. I love experiencing life on Svalbard through your lense. Also you are your channel in my eyes. No matter what you do or add content wise I will be there, your style and zest for life is what keeps me watching. So happy you and Christopher are going away! Enjoy your trip and can’t wait to see what is next! Ty for sharing so much of your life with us, and thank you for creating! Here is to 1,000,000 subscribers and beyond! ❤
Your videos are not repetitive AT ALL! Even the similar ones are so different and always show different things or perspectives. I love seeing all things Svalbard!
I stumbled across a short and the started watching your videos randomly. And now I WAIT EVERY SUNDAY. The only youtuber I love and follow so religiously. DO NOT CHANGE THE CHANNEL. I love the vibe, you and your style of videos.
I love that you are looking at small, yet authentic ways to expand the scope of the channel. As a content producer, burnout is just as prevalent as any other "job". This keeps you feeling excited, allows us to see more and get a deeper feel for the world around you. I especially love the idea of meeting the locals, what folks do there, their favorite foods maybe.. hint, hint. Love it! Keep up the great content!!
You have made a difference in how I get through the Chicago winters. Don’t love the bitter cold, but you have reminded me of some of the things I can appreciate, the coziness, the slower pace, the quiet and reflection. Thank you for what you do!
I understand exactly what she's saying ..I'm 68 years old & there's been many times in my life when I've done something for a long time and then I knew it was time.. you just know when in your heart and your soul & mind.. that you have to make this change to keep growing.... I have followed YT for many many years... I have watched canal boating from a man in the UK for years.. he knew it was time for a change and he did.. I've watched UA-camrs from Japan for years.. when they ran out of content kept doing the same thing over and over they knew it was time to stop... Change is a good thing people.. Change is a very good thing.. I truly doubt that once Cecilia's 50 ..she will still be on this channel.... I'm sure she'll be somewhere else in the world just as exciting..🎉....❤
Cecilia, I feel blessed that ‘I found your channel’. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your content JUST the way it IS. You are truly gifted. You, Christoffer, Grim resonate CALM in this chaotic world. God bless you! Keep on going! ❤❤❤
Love these kinds of videos, too! Also, my husband and I were watching this one together, and you absolutely made our day when you said "fart pig". 😂 I needed that good laugh this morning. And like many others have pointed out, we are here for YOU, Christoffer and Grim, repetition and all. It never gets old. Thank you for sharing life on Svalbard with us! ❤
I totally enjoy when you hang out with Christoffer when he's cooking. I knew he was a chef before you said he was a chef. His knife skills and organization gave it away. 😂❤
Omg same I was like nooooo I have watched every holiday with yall and since the beginning I love watching and grim is super cute !! Love you guys and grim sooooo much I will always be here to support!!!!!!
I'm relatively new here but I really like the slow pace and honest videos about daily life on this channel. It has easily become my favourite channel. And honestly, for some reason I just love seeing people grocery shop and do normal things. I feel like so many channels on here emphasize constantly having something new happening every 10 seconds and it just feels exhausting to watch. That's why this channel is like a breath of fresh air to me. Sending love from Iceland ❄️
I'm a teacher in rural WV. I start my mornings either with a book and some hot tea, or if you posted I start with with a hot tea and your video 😊. They're always so relaxing and calming! Love the current format but will support you no matter what and love whatever content you come up with!
Your personality shines through Cecilia, which is why your videos are so popular, I love watching them, and I find Svalbard and your life with Christofer & Grimm so interesting. Your videos really capture the beauty of Svalbard. It won't be long before you reach 1million, I came across you when you had 70k subscribers and my goodness how your chanel has grown since then!🎉
Hi Cecelia! Thank you so much for having opened up your heart and home to us. You, Christopher, and Grim, have become a part of my life, for sure. I can see that you truly love Grim. I feel that way about my dog too. Blessings and love!
I love this!! Thank youuuu 🧡🧡🧡
Yes! This! I agree. This is my “safe place” channel. I love the calmness, beauty, & adventures once in awhile (hikes, cabins, etc).
EXACTLY!!! I instantly (selfishly) thought "aww, man - there goes another content creator changing what's working" simply because of what @purseypurslane stated - we are here because we know the feeling we will have while watching and post video. I literally make a cup of tea and sit with a cozy blanket to watch your videos. Yes, it's your channel so evolve as you wish/need but please KNOW this subscriber LOVES & Appreciates your channel as it is. oxoxoxoxoxo @@CeciliaBlomdahl
couldn't have said it better myself !
I couldn’t agree more!
This channel is like a warm cup of hot chocolate and warm fuzzy blanket on a cold day. It’s a hug.
🧡🧡🧡🧡
I agree! It is so cozy
I agree totally . There is no escape once u started watching her and her videos. Its amazing . ❤❤
Yes this is how I feel too!!
Agree whole heartedly, but wouldn’t have been able to find the right words. Cecelia, dont change a thing!
Exactly!
Yes……I agree!
Exactly my sentiment ❤
I completely disagree. You just want her to stay the same and never grow ??? How fuckn boring
your language is foul, it shows your personality@@micahweiss
I affirm what other viewers are saying. Life in Svalbard is why I subscribed to your channel. Your videos are something I look forward to very much - they help me unwind, feel cozy, and like I’m talking with a friend. You have a wonderful and calming personality. Your channel doesn’t need a change, we love it as is! 💕
I appreciate that! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🧡🧡🧡
Fairly new to Cecilia's channel. Watching her daily. I usually start my day with a cup of tea and one of her videos. It's so calming.
Thank you!!
It’s so cold here! I think about Cecelia with this crazy cold. I am near Chicago.
I’m 72 living in Wisconsin and I agree with you. Cecelia will probably notice, as I have, the older I get the faster the days fly by.
Stay warm!
Yes! Cecilia changed my whole mindset on winter which has helped me immensely
Your comment is everything!❤ Agree so much on the moving slower, and taking in every ounce of joy the slow moments bring!
100% agree with all of this! Slow living, hygge in the winter, watching the calmness in the dark on Svalbard... it brings peace to my soul. Would also love to see anything on mainland Norway. I've been to Oslo many times and need to get my behind up further north (or south to Cecilia haha).
Well said!!!

@@stacywestly64greetings from Poland 🇵🇱 and mindful life by Agnes 😀 (channel) and countryside!
William
I wish I could give this comment a thousand likes. So true, "repetitiveness is a way of life."
I hope Cecilia sees your comment
Love your videos. You live in a place out of the norm that will never bore me. Keep them coming.
I’m so happy you’re staying around! Do you realize that you give us a connection to check what life is like in another part of the world, especially those of us who can’t travel! I so enjoy your channel, I get a kick out of you…you always make me smile and laugh! Such an education I get from you so THANK YOU! 😉
You get to see a great night sky
Exactly William!
What a beautiful comment- I got a little misty!
What a great trip you had! How exciting you followed your dream to visit.
I love your comment. Polar night in Svalbard is on my bucket list. We are not big outdoor people, but I’d love to experience polar night, eat good food, visit the huskie cafe…and see the northern lights of course. Thank you for sharing your experience ♥️
That's amazing! When you say you just missed them, did you walk up to their house and realise they weren't there?! Or someone in the town told you?
@@pepryan2183I caught her post when she got back from her trip. No, we are respectful and did not seek contact. That is her home, after all.
God bless. ❤😊
I agree. She would be great at reading books for Audiobooks. I would happily listen to her reading a fantasy book.
We need bedtime stories with cocoa! Fairy tales and Icelandic Sagas.
this is the beauty of UA-cam.... your ride or dies will always support because You are the gift that keeps on giving
YES❣🙏
You do have a lovely lilting voice.
@@kathyrau9551hello 👋 from Poland and mindful life by Agnes (channel 😊) and countryside 🏡!
Your channel still touches me every time I watch it ❤ So from NW Ohio near Great Lake Erie US…..we love you all ❤❤
Same with my mom and me 😊😊 from SB, CA
😂😂 so cute
I’ve always liked your channel. You, Christoffer and Grim are like a hug through the screen for Sunday cozies.
💖❄️✨
I like your channel bc it's the way it is NOW. Peaceful. Calm. Unhurried. I find comfort in watching you and listening to your voice and seeing Grimm and Christopher. Please don't change!!! ❤
Please don't change the channel. It's so peaceful with you like this. I save these videos for when I just need to sit and calm myself and rest. We love you Cecilia.
Not going to lie, if you uploaded your day every single day I'd be hooked still ❤
You're the best! 🧡
You do you Cecelia! We all love your work and your life. It will be a pleasure to see what 2024 brings. ❤❤
Thank you so much! ❤️
Cecilia please don’t feel the need to change the channel in any way, it’s like having a nice chat with a good friend in a really cool house that I’d love to come and visit sometime. You are wonderful and so unique!
Meeting more of the locals sounds so fun! I love when you do a “day in the life” and run your errands in town. It’s always so fun to tag along.
those are the two i watch! plus mav....
Stay healthy and enjoy life as it goes by too fast!
same here. 73 and follow people al around the world. it is so fun!!!! (I wish we had our own group!) Love this channel. I have learned so much.
My Cecilia wish list for the year:
1. More videos of mainland Norway
2. More videos including traditional Norwegian restaurants and bakeries
3. Video of your home town in Sweden
4. Video collab with Jonna Jinton
5. Svalbard calendar with local nature and wildlife
6. More interviews with Svalbard locals
7. A trip to the Svalbard library
Have a great week! Love from SoCal 🌞
Haha I love this list and 100% second nr 4! Jonna Jinton collab would be amazing! 😍
Yes please for a calendar 🗓️ 😊
I love the seasonality of your channel. It is repetitive year by year but because we are experiencing the seasons with you it feels like the natural flow of life in a different place which is lovely.
I just want to thank you so much for introducing me to Svalbard and other parts of Norway. It's wonderful to have the world open up to us!
FYI I am headed to Portugal and their amazing history and ports.
I would love to see cabins in Norway! But keep doing everyday life in Svalbard!
This channel keeps people coming back because of exactly how it is now! It's so calming and just ..... peaceful.
Cabin adventures in Norway you said? Yes please!!!
Your channel also does this for me Jonna, as well as Cecilia’s 🥰🥰🥰
Hej Jonna ❤
Love both of your channels! They are such a comfort 🤍
This channel is my zen. You’re my only companion when I work late at night in my office and everyone is asleep. Your videos bring me so much peace and appreciation towards nature.❤️

PLEASE
PLEASE
PLEASE do NOT change your channel for anybody!
They must be BRAINless to not be interested in #Svalbard at nearly the tip of our planet at one end of our poles (north and south)
Not only do you show us ALL how you live in such a DIVERSE place but all the little things in between too.
All I want is LOOOOOONGER videos LOLOL
I am so happy that I found your channel and Grim is such a cry-baby! LOL
Good luck and I PRAYYYYYY you are doing a LIVE Christmas video!
Thank you from SCOTLAND
♥♥♥
I live in Canada 🇨🇦 with the snow and below freezing temperature and darkness during winter…and I love this channel!
It's our regular dose of goodness, thank you guys ❤️
Glad you enjoy it! ✨
Yes❣
Yaaay! I was planning to incorporating more of my fitness and hiking etc this year since it’s such a big part of my life 😍
Also agree with others here - there's no need to be flashy or "up your game" when you live in such a magical & wondrous place that most of us will never see in person.
I feel the same! I have a completely different attitude towards winter and short days now.
It’really cold in Minnesota. Here in Utah maiby it’s worse.
Me too! I moved to New England recently, and Cecilia has taught me so much about how to enjoy winter❤
Same!
Minnesota here! I agree, she has helped me get through the winter. Take good care, and stay warm.
I love these fireside, cozy glow, warm drink chats. They're so relaxing.
I love the “repetitive!” It’s beautiful and makes me feel so warm and happy. Please don’t change ❤
Xoxo
Oh my goodness, I was absolutely terrified when I read it, too!!!
Same.
❤ yes❣
I could watch your videos for another 10 years and I would never get bored. Someone said it is repetetive but that's why I love in your channel. Life as it is and it is so comforting and relaxing to watch. ❤❤❤
This family were here with you from the start , we loved it and continue to love it, my husband bought me a wedding anniversary present from your jewler , a polar bear wedding ring we’ve been together for over 40 years 😊we were married on Christmas Eve lol ..so continue with your adventures we will always support you 😊
Forgot to say ..we’re from 🇬🇧 😊😊
Hi from Canada
Hi can I email that jeweller? Polar bear rings sounds awesome. Is her work on line?
I love the idea of more videos of the "rough" arctic environment and also "meet the locals" videos ❤ can't wait to see more of Svalbard
You, your family, and your videos bring so much comfort, love, joy. Blessings and love from the USA 🙏🥰
Please don’t change! You’re such a cozy corner of the internet.
Well, it's not a Sunday without your Sunday video! And we would like to see Christopher and you cook together more frequently !
I was thinking the same! Even a Silent ASMR cooking with Christoffer series would be super chill and lovely!!
Yes I lived for seeing them baking together
Its just amazing how human beings adjust everywhere on earth.
I loved the „A day in my life“ videos. Like fron getting up, cooking, working etc :)
Would love to see more day to day ❤
I stumbled across a short and the started watching your videos randomly.
Watching your channel gets me through winter depression. I love it.
Hej Cecilia! Your videos make my sunday vibe complete. Have a wonderful week x
well said...
Not me panicking because I thought you were ending the channel due to the thumbnail 😢😂❤
Omg same I was like nooooo I have watched every holiday with yall and since the beginning I love watching and grim is super cute !! Love you guys and grim sooooo much I will always be here to support!!!!!!
I was freaking out as well - my old heart can’t handle the possibility 😢 love to you guys and Grim ❤
Same!!!
Me too 😢that would make me so sad
A bit of click bait.
I completely agree! I really enjoy seeing normal life - it's so different from mine
I'm a teacher in rural WV. I start my mornings either with a book and some hot tea, or if you posted I start with with a hot tea and your video 😊. They're always so relaxing and calming! Love the current format but will support you no matter what and love whatever content you come up with!
Nice to be along the journey. Take care of yourself. I enjoy seeing the world around us. Life is repetitive, the joy comes from how we explore it.
I love the quietness of winter. The coziness, I crochet and relax and sip hot cocoa. I enjoy your channel you have such a relaxing vibe.
Your personality shines through Cecilia, which is why your videos are so popular, I love watching them, and I find Svalbard and your life with Christofer & Grimm so interesting. Your videos really capture the beauty of Svalbard. It won't be long before you reach 1million, I came across you when you had 70k subscribers and my goodness how your chanel has grown since then!🎉
I love watching your life on Svalbard. Polar night videos are super relaxing especially when you're just chatting by the fire about random stuff!
Hi Cecelia! Thank you so much for having opened up your heart and home to us. You, Christopher, and Grim, have become a part of my life, for sure. I can see that you truly love Grim. I feel that way about my dog too. Blessings and love!
