30:22 oh hi 30:14 and they swapped the original Puyo 1 ending with Arle sipping Japanese sake wine (i don't remember Arcade version had this one but at least one port had this ending) with Kirby with a garbage Puyo trophy how smart it is kinda incredible that they both keep the humorous sound designs of puyo music and delightful quick bpm kirby music at the same time And the voiceover is so cute
Fun facts: This game's sound effects are taken from Super Puyo Puyo Tsuu kirby's chain voice and enemy's chain voice has 6 voice clips starts from the second chain

Well I think kirby's avalanche is pretty good I played both this and dr robotnik's mean bean machine and had fun I still rather tetris if I want a very simple game but I think is a solid time killer

HAL didnt steal SEGA's idea, both of them actually took the idea from the game Puyo Puyo which has the same game mechanics of little blob things falling and being mashed together, not to mention the fact that Puyo Puyo came out BEFORE Mean Bean Machine and Avalanche
Not to mention, there are actually different versions of Puyo Puyo, for example: Hebereke's Popoon, Puyo Puyo Tetris, the Chemical Plant Boss from Sonic Mania, Hebereke's Poppoito, etc. Edit: Hebereke's poppoito isnt a puyo puyo style game, its more of a Dr. Mario game
The only thing that kills this game is how terrible the music is. If it's another puzzle game, I'd much rather play Tetris Attack, and if it's another Kirby super nintendo game, I'd much rather play Kirby's Dream Course. That game probably has the best Kirby soundtrack up to that point.
