It's wonderful to see you, Mimi, with and without guitar. Thank you for bringing us a little closer to your life outside of music. We all admire your brilliance, but also your charm and friendliness. ✨✨✨🫶🏻🎸🫶🏻😍🫶🏻✨✨✨
This girl is amazingly brilliant! Tens of thousands of guitar guys foregoing scale practice to watch a lady walk around in a beach town....including me :(
We do have some fantastic coastal paths, roads and beaches, here in the UK, eh Mimi. Hope you had a great time with the family. It was also nice to see your selection of beach wear 🤗❤️🇬🇧
Great review Mimi and a reminder of just how beautiful our country is. You have taken us away from all the problems of the UK. Thank you (ps….love your solo from Sultans of Swing). Look forward to your next post.
I loved watching this. I went to all these locations, Paignton, Brixham and Torquay so much in my Childhood. Its great to see it again. Hope you enjoyed it!
I lived in Broadstairs when I was five. I remember the beach well. We went often. One time I buried my teddy bear in the sand. It's still a sad memory, but I have great memories of England and the beaches. We also vacationed in Cornwall one year which was gorgeous.
@braintwang - your teddy bear is happy staying at the beach. It is his happy place and he looks forward to when you go there again♥ I live in Cape Town and I go down to the beach at least once or twice a week... mostly by myself. It's MY happy place where I can just relax while watching the waves and thinking my own thoughts. Love to you and please tell your teddy bear I send best wishes when you go down that way again. 🐶
My wife is English (from Camberley). But her family have mostly moved to Devon. We have stayed in Torquey. Very nice. And we were back in Devon this year to see cousins. God Bless England.
@@stevepryce6776 On that side of my wife's family the last name is Bilson. Her mother is Deirdre Bilson. She moved to the States in 1967 and married an Engineer from St. Louis, Missouri. Sadly, today my mother-in-law suffers from late stage dementia.
I came from Sidmouth, which is just up the coast from where you were. The town beach is pebble/shingle and the Jacob's Ladder area is pebble and sand. Lovely area all around. I'm pleased the sun shone for you and nobody took your bag
Mimi, it looks like you and your family had a great time. Who knew there were all those beaches and a big amusement park with a Ferris wheel across the water.
You have such a pleasant personality. You’re doing something right, in your life, to be this person. I enjoy making friends of all types, and I wish I knew just one person, nearby, with a demeanor similar to yours. Don’t ever let life change that.
The first thing that entered my mind of Torquay beach was black mud a half inch under the sand and sewage washing up on the beach every time the tide came in ,back in the sixties .
We are so blessed to have these beautiful beaches in our country, thanks for introducing me to these wonderful places and I hope to see these beaches, very soon, thank you for this great video
Thanks for these beautiful images of Devon Mimi. Lucky you are to find such a weather in this place. Ice creams are particularly good in England. You may have played a little piece of music with your guitar on the shore with the sound of the little waves but I imagine it ! 🤩
It’s lovely to see a natural beautiful young lady without the Donald Duck lips and spiders hanging from their eyelids, please never change. The outside swimming pool is called a Lido, not a lot of people are familiar with them, as most have now been closed… ❤️🎸
That's a pretty good piece of sea glass for your first find! we're all from the coast and we all did the same, search the sand and rocks for all kinds of things and I've never found a brown glass tumble before, it's all mostly green and clear, some winey tinted red and blue, my nephews have the best collection of sea tumbled rocks and glass I've seen. Great video, it's good to see other places and beaches, what it's like today 😊.
It looks so beautiful where you are. So much of the country I've never seen. Pretty much stayed in and around London and Essex for the most part. It looks so peaceful and relaxed where you were in the video.
Hi" there are some great beaches around the UK coastlines, I've detected a few around Wales had some good finds, have a great time with you're guitar you're great and lovely ❤️
I would say your videos are a perfect example of raw footage where you have done no research whatsoever but have captured the pure essence of a vibrant coast line with a flare for human observation.
@@mimisounds2843 -Mimi, if you have not heard or seen another U-tuber by the name sina-drums then you may want to check out her channel. She is a great drummer that is moving to London England. Who knows, maybe you guys could connect and do some performances or practice together
Lovely to have you share your Devon experiences with us. I think the idea that England generally has bad weather is somewhat of a misconception. Especially Cornwall and parts of Devon have a subtropical climate.
Hello Mimi. I only just found your channel. Everyone loves you😁 So many views on your shorts and videos. It would be pretty much impossible for you to reply to the messages you get. I just wanted to say well done. I've seen others similar to with huge audiences but not from the UK. I saw you playing the guitar and this one the beach, I very surprised you are England. Awesome👌💪💪👏👏 I loved the beach tour. Perfect sunset. You should it so well. I'm from Wales and just walk ⛰️⛺️ Friday I'm in the Lake District for 3 days sleeping on the mountains and showing at waterfalls. I will try to show Scafell Pike, Helvellyn, Catbells and perhaps another one as they rightly are beautiful. Keep smiling and making others smile with your vidoes👋❤️
I remember Paignton Mia ! My Dad would've loved the steam train..... For me though, the best Devon beaches are in the north. Croyde Bay is a lovely village and a great beach - but Woolacombe beach is incredible. It's HUGE !! xx
I have always wanted to visit! I love watching" Escape to the Country" its one of my favorite shows and watching you give a tour of your country is even better, with, or without, a bikini! I may never be able to afford to go especially how our economy has been in the last almost 4 years. And if we have to go through another 4 with the same administration, I know I'll never be able to vacation there. Really appreciate the tour.
My son lives in Torquay and have visited Goodrington sands, the sand leaves a red stain on your body and clothes 😂 Babbacombe is my favourite! Thanks for this!
For those of us in the states, these intricate views of England are priceless. I may never afford to travel there, so I thank you!!
What is there to not afford? Ticket price is barely a 2 weeks of minimum wage salary.
I could have a bad day but after watching Mimi my day just gets better. 🎸
Thanks for the tour. What lovely sights there are down there. You're looking wonderful too darling.

Thanks for posting this new perspective on beaches in England.
Very interesting and positive video. Thank you Mimi

Two beautiful parts of England Devon and Cornwall thank you young lady for a delightful video of these particular beaches

Thank you Mimi, lovely to see our great resorts, and they are great, reminds me so much when I was kid, bucket and spade. Lovely
Thanks for taking us along. You look fabulous in those swimming suits.
Thanks for the tour Mimi. The beaches in the UK look spectacular as do you...😊🎸🤟🤟✌️🖤

A dying breed. Nice, pleasant, healthy young lady with no unnecessary alterations beyond hair coloring. Please, UK, protect this one at all costs.
And she plays guitar !!!!
@@purplepeavey7874 Yes, quite well, too. Great taste in music is another of her rare attributes.
But teach her to speak English! It isn't "like a steam train" it is a steam train!! And so on and on and on....
Would have been perfect if it were the Bass 😅 @@purplepeavey7874
Great comment 😊
Broadstairs (Kent), Holkham (Norfolk) and Prestatyn (North Wales) are my top 3 UK beaches. Bleak, haunting and beautiful, all in one.
Cool shot of the steam train passing by the beach. That's definitely not something I've ever seen before!
That steam train has a stop at Agatha Christie’s mansion about ten minutes travel from there
Yes that's the Dartmouth Steam Railway. It's been used in lots of films/TV dramas etc
Steam trains are much too noisy and should be banned or converted to electric rail. :face-laughing-humor:

Yeah we don't really like guitar
Men of culture here we meet again

@2:30 I like how she captured people shouting at each other in the background. It really highlighted the English vibe. 👌
Great video Mimi! You definitely timed the weather well!
Looking pretty today Mimi, (my daughter's nickname too!). The beach tour was great! Looking forward to more tour adventures with you!
You are a lovely young lady and a great guitar player ! ❤
Thanks for tha trip...I've never found sea glass either...but the ice cream 😮...🎸❣️

Great tour ! probably the first time in my life seeing the beaches of England !!!
Mimi, it looks like you and your family had a great time. Who knew there were all those beaches and a big amusement park with a Ferris wheel across the water.
It's a big wheel like the London Eye but much smaller. It comes to Torquay seafront every summer.
Thanks Mimi. Great tour! Look forward to you playing a great solo again soon.
It's always a treat to see any part of the UK with you. It's on my short list of places I want to visit.
Amazing beaches and delicious icecream treats! Thanks so much for taking us along Mimi! 🙂
Very brave young lady when you consider the weather, the cold sea and the pollution in the sea...Well done.
Some nice views down there, I never knew Devon was so hilly.
The views are indeed quite eye-popping.
Glad you all had a great time there Mia. Yes it would be fair to say that this summer has been rather ropey (for hot sunny weather). Best wishes!!
Oh Mia you are absolutely adorable and stunning!

And here I thought the only thing sunny and pretty in England was Mimi :-) 🎸🙏
The first thing that entered my mind when you showed Torquay, was Fawlty Towers.
The first thing that entered my mind of Torquay beach was black mud a half inch under the sand and sewage washing up on the beach every time the tide came in ,back in the sixties .

One you'd happily take home to meet your parents. Your mum would love her, and your dad would be jealous as hell ha ha.
Very cool video. You’re right we never hear of your beaches in the US.
Mimi, you are beautiful and a wonderful presenter.
Mimi, that steam train is VERY cool, but I admit I'm watching this beach tour out of only "Loco - motives" HAH!!! You're so lovely! 😂💗
