- ‘Tis the season to chop, flip, and cook up a beat - courtesy of @kaelinellis. We switched it to the West Coast and headed to The Record Parlour, LA, with the Multi-Platinum Music Producer to put on the blindfold and get busy.
Formerly known as Mr. Mockwell, the US state graduate made his mark on the modern jazz, electronic, and #HipHop beat scene and has collaborated with artists such as Lupe Fiasco, Kaytranada, Sango, Waldo, and Exo (to name a few). The sampling gods gifted him with records: Donna Allen - “Real,” Vesta Williams - “Vesta,” and “Rose.”

@@HerEvilTwin maybe not but it sounds like he could. I'm a producer, I compose all my stuff from scratch, but I still do pretty well when I do an occasional sample flip.
