As a fellow introvert, it's actually easier to become invisible in huge crowds. Not one person is paying attention to anyone else but themselves because everyone is busy getting somewhere, plus, people in central Tokyo are quite closed off and aren't usually overly friendly/nosy (unless they are older and/or are inebriated).
We can relate! But there's a lot of quiet and peaceful places in Japan and even within Tokyo!

Jay: if you ever make it to Kyoto there’s a bakery that bakes 100 different types of bread. It is called Ban no Tsuba in Fushima Ward, Kyoto City. The price for all the bread is 110 yen.

We starved when there because we didn't know what was halal. There are some halal restaurants but they're far from each other. A Japanese revert told us the grocery sushi is usually safe because there's no alcohol in the rice

I was recently flying Ana airlines to Malaysia and the rice crackers packet mentioned halal.... the non Muslim passengers got some other crackers.... also at Japan's airport you can get icecream through vending machines!
