@@BloggingTheology 14:00 Smart question, Paul. I heard Sheikh Abdulaziz Al-Tarifi say that to the Shiites also who worship the graves, and he said that the word “we are Muslims” is not a proof of Islam because the infidels of the polytheistic Quraish were also saying that we are on the Hanafi school, which is the religion of the Prophet Ibrahim.

@@mrafiuddin Why does that matter to you or us? The important thing to ask is are we following the way of the salaf? We can't judge people but we can judge ourselves.
@@mrafiuddin Salafism emerged from Hanbalism, you're correct. Hanbalis were largly sectarian and psycho-extremists who persecuted and killed anyone who disagreed with them. Just look at the gruesome way they killed Sheikh Al Moufassereen Ibn Jarir Al-Tabari, for saying that he doesn't consider Ahmed Ibn Hanbal to have a unique Madh'aab/school of Sunni jurisprudence, but considers him to be a Moh'adet/hadith traditionist only.

@@falsesectslikeshiaarejudeo6543 Ibn Hanbal was persecuted, sure, no sane person denies that. But his followers turned out to be persecuters in their own right. They shamelessly killed Al-Tabari, a person with great 'Ilm and one of the great Mufassereen of the Qur'an, they besieged his house and refused to even let people give him a proper Janaza and burial worthy of his contributions and status. From their sect, we saw the genesis of the Takfiris and the sectarians and the current Jihadi Salafis who cheapen the blood of Muslims and kill anyone who mildly disagrees with them.
Thank you Paul and Shaykh Hasan Somali for the discussion, I would like to hear more from you to talk more detailed about Salafi teaching so more people will be exposed to the truth. I'm waiting for next session. May Allah guide us all.
I would like to thank you for organizing such a great talk. I always wanted to communicate the true meaning of the Salafi path as I myself found it as the most authentic way to the true Islam, but I am usually confronted with a huge bias that leaves no open room for an educational discussion. This problem is present even among Arabic Muslims. However, Shaykh Hasan and you managed to communicate in a proper and open way that was actually so beneficial for me as well. I actually thank you for bringing someone like Sheykh Hassan (whom I actually did not know before this video) to explain the proper position of Muslims and in particular when it comes to the Salafi path. People either in the west or even in the Arabic/Muslim communities might confuse Salafi (as a path that calls to follow the first generations of Islam) with the terrorist groups (who are the enemies of everybody) due to biased views from media or wherever. My point here is that names by the end of the day are just names. We have to look at facts and actions. For example, Abdullah Ibn Salool was the head of Monafeqon (a group of people who are apparently believers "Muslims" but are actually disbelievers) at the time of the prophet peace be upon him. Then Allah has revealed to his prophet in Quraan a full verse called Al-Munafiqun that Allah knows about them and they are at the deepest point in the Hellfire even below the disbelievers. These groups neither benefited from calling themselves Muslims nor represented in any way what it means to be a Muslim. There are several other examples from Quraan and Sunnah and this is one of them.
Thanks! Just for futue consideration: There are many people talking none sense about the true Islam and/or the Salafi path as with many other topics. Therefore, it is not easy to know to whom someone can talk to. But I really felt that you are only interested to get as much as unbiased view as possible. This is also my path actually and that is why I found your channel very useful and impactful. So just keep going. We have a lot to share and it will be interesting to see more content from you especially when it comes to orthodox Christianity and orthodox Islam. I would really like to ask you to have another talk with Sheykh Hassan to clarify more about: 1. Authentic Islam message (which is mainly to worship God only and not just to believe in God) that was carried by all prophets and their honest followers. This by itself can be a series of discussions. 2. (if possible) the cults in Islam, why their claims are dismissed by Quraan and Sunah and why they still exist.
Clear and Well explained jazakumullahu khairan.. May Allah guide who respect and wanted to know what and who are salaafys.. Thus are the true-faith followers which will lead the rise of ISLAM Barakallahu fiikum

O neo-salafis of today! Do you really think following your reviver Mohammed Ibn Abdul Wahab wil take you to Jannah? Have you forgotten the "Hadith about Najd" ? Read on. If you can "see" with the eyes of your heart and you are not brain dead, then the following is a wakeup call for you to repent from todays "neo Salafism" : 1. "Narrated Ibn `Umar: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "O Allah! Bestow Your blessings on our Sham! O Allah! Bestow Your blessings on our Yemen." The People said, "And also on our Najd." He said, "O Allah! Bestow Your blessings on our Sham (north)! O Allah! Bestow Your blessings on our Yemen." The people said, "O Allah's Apostle! And also on our Najd." I think the third time the Prophet (ﷺ) said, "There (in Najd) is the place of earthquakes and afflictions and from there comes out the side of the head of Satan."" : sunnah.com/bukhari:7094 Now the interesting part here is that the Sahabah who said: "And also on our Najd." were Sahabah from the Najd area of Arabia at that time. Reason is that though many of todays "neo salafis" claim it's najd of Iraq, Iraq was not even Muslim country at that time ,so the Sahabah was from Najd of Arabia. To back this point up you need to look at Hadith about Miqat points for Haj, and it is clearly mentioned that Iraq was not Muslim at that time,so there were no Sahabah from Iraq asking for blessing for their " iraq najd"(as claimed by neo salafis) , but they were asking for blessing for the Najd of Arabia. Narrated `Abdullah bin Dinar: Ibn `Umar said, "The Prophet (ﷺ) fixed Qarn as the Miqat (for assuming the Ihram) for the people of Najd, and Al-Juhfa for the people of Sham, and Dhul-Hulaifa for the people of Medina." Ibn `Umar added, "I heard this from the Prophet, and I have been informed that the Prophet (ﷺ) said, 'The Miqat for the Yemenites is Yalamlam.' "When Iraq was mentioned, he said, "At that time it was not a Muslim country." sunnah.com/bukhari:7344 2. Imam Bukhari even wrote a whole chapter called : "(16)Chapter: “Al-Fitnah will appear from the EAST.” : sunnah.com/bukhari/92 Several Hadith mentions that the fitna will appear from the EAST. Only Najd of Arabia lies to the East of Medina ( Hijaz) : Narrated Salim's father: The Prophet (ﷺ) stood up beside the pulpit (and pointed with his finger towards the East) and said, "Afflictions are there! Afflictions are there, from where the side of the head of Satan comes out," or said, "..the side of the sun.."sunnah.com/bukhari:7092 Narrated Ibn `Umar: I heard Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) while he was facing the East, saying, "Verily! Afflictions are there, from where the side of the head of Satan comes out." sunnah.com/bukhari:7093 Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah(s.a.w) said: "Faith is Yemeni, and disbelief is from the direction of the EAST. Tranquility is for the people of sheep, and wickedness and Riya is in those who boast among the people of horses and the people of camels....sunnah.com/tirmidhi:2243 Now tell me who in the EAST boast among the people of horses and the people of camels? People from Najd in arabia! 3. In the first Hadith mentioned above قَرْنُ الشَّيْطَانِ ". " ( QARN-usheitan ) is mentioned. Interestingly Syyedina Mohammed (pbuh) said that Miqat point for Najd in Saudi is QARN : Narrated Salim bin `Abdullah from his father: I heard Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) saying, "The Miqat for the people of Medina is Dhul-Hulaifa; for the people of Sham is Mahita; (i.e. Al-Juhfa); and for the people of Najd is QARN. And said Ibn `Umar, "They claim, but I did not hear personally, that the Prophet (ﷺ) said, "The Miqat for the people of Yemen is Yalamlam." sunnah.com/bukhari:1528 4. Now look at this google map. Najd of Saud lies to EAST of Madinah, and Iraq is NORTH-EAST : aalequtub.files.wordpress.com/2019/12/13912697_1218930288140440_5976180288688380779_n.jpg Conclusion: The Hadith of Najd speaks about najd of Arabia and none other najd anywhere else.So anyone who wants to save their akhirah, should repent from wahabism and come over to Sufism and join true Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jamah aqeedah: www.ahlus-sunna.com
Sahih Bukhari: Prophet peace and blessings be upon him "I have loved the people of the tribe of Banu Tamim, ever since I heard three things the Messenger of Allaah , sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam, said about them. I heard him saying, 'these people (of the tribe of Banu Tamim) would stand firm against the Dajjaal.' When the Saddaqat from that tribe came, the Messenger of Allaah , sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam, said, "these are the Saddaqat (charitable gifts) of our folk." Aa'ishah had a slave girl from that tribe, and the Prophet , sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam, said to Aa'ishah, 'manumit her as she is a descendant of Ismaa'eel, alayhis salaam.'" ahadith 2543 and 4366 of al-Fath Also from Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal: "do not say of Bani Tameem anything but good, for indeed they are the severest of people in attacking the Dajjaal." Banu Tamim are the majority of people of the so-called Najd (Saudi Arabia). To label Najd as that area of Saudi Arabia would be in contradiction of the many hadeeth relating to Bani Tameem especially those in which they fight the Dajjal, who comes from the Najd that is to the East.

There are some ridiculous attitudes that show up in these comments sections showing how lost some who call themselves Muslims are, but show how out of touch with the reality of life they really are. One of these lost states is regarding the argument about where Allah is? To be above something, also means you are greater than it. That your position is a higher one means you are above and beyond what is being said or understood about who you are. Language itself acts as a gauge of our capacity to express the greater reality of life more clearly. Or for those that allow myths and hypocracy to get in the way, its lack of clarity is there to confuse them. When people talk non-sense it is very easy to see they have not grasped hold of the correct context of the words they are using to de-scribe reality. The actual word, understand in english is made up of two seperate words under and stand. Being under something, means we look up at it or to it, or in a spiritual context we put the idea we believe in at a higher place above us (we hold it as a having a higher value in our lives). To stand for something, means we hold onto a value making sure no matter what happens to us, we hold firm standing by what we believe is true, even to our death. True under-standing is actually inferring these qualities become the action we implement, in our beliefs that we stand for in life. This concept of under-standing takes its meaning to a much higher level, which is the same principle that the word Islam in Arabic refers to. A person is not being true to what they know if they do not hold their principles to above all other things, always staying below sub- missive to these higher values. Standing up to protect them with our lives. This is jihad. An example if this is to know the true principle of what Halel means: blessed by Allah, to know all life has been blessed by Allah, then not re-spect it, to mistreat His Creation is hypocracy. Or just to think we can mumble the words Bismilallah. And that makes it ok to abuse Allah's Creation To say one thing then do the other, only makes us hypocrites, not servents doing Allah's Will on earth. Sadly in today's modern world where a person's word mean nothing, even those who call themselves Muslim are doing so only in word not in their actions, which are still tied to the dunyah. This understanding of Islam is theoretical only, it is not a lifestyle and the actual mentality towards life being followed is still fully westernised. These actions, which have nothing to do with the truth of Islam or its correct values, or to stand up for what is true that we as true Muslims should have kept high above us. These types of self centred attitudes do not hold the right value of life or where it comes from in our beliefs in the correct place. As fake muslins we might continue a few Islamic traditions in our lives that we think are required of us, like praying 5 times a day or not eat during Ramadan. But the great path and higher truth of Islam is not in our hearts, the dunnah is. That's all we care about, and as Our beloved Prophet said, "those who think this way have already received their full reward in this life". It's a bit disappointing to notice some comments being deleted in these open chat. I speak from direct experience, where members of fanatic groups actually wanted to cut my head off, for standing up to them in person and upsetting them, because they tried to force their one eyed views onto me and I refused to accept such a one eyed views of Islam that can aldo be seen by many who make comments in here. Those who threatened to attack me, might not have been the Salafi's you might know, but that's what they also called themselves.
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Huraira that the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) observed: Be prompt in doing good deeds (before you are overtaken) by turbulence which would be like a part of the dark night.
Well said!
Thanks!
Just for futue consideration:
There are many people talking none sense about the true Islam and/or the Salafi path as with many other topics. Therefore, it is not easy to know to whom someone can talk to.

So just keep going. We have a lot to share and it will be interesting to see more content from you especially when it comes to orthodox Christianity and orthodox Islam.
I would really like to ask you to have another talk with Sheykh Hassan to clarify more about:

O neo-salafis of today! Do you really think following your reviver Mohammed Ibn Abdul Wahab wil take you to Jannah? Have you forgotten the "Hadith about Najd" ? Read on. If you can "see" with the eyes of your heart and you are not brain dead, then the following is a wakeup call for you to repent from todays "neo Salafism" :
1.
"Narrated Ibn `Umar:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "O Allah! And also on our Najd." I think the third time the Prophet (ﷺ) said, "There (in Najd) is the place of earthquakes and afflictions and from there comes out the side of the head of Satan."" : sunnah.com/bukhari:7094
Now the interesting part here is that the Sahabah who said: "And also on our Najd." were Sahabah from the Najd area of Arabia at that time.
Narrated `Abdullah bin Dinar:
Ibn `Umar said, "The Prophet (ﷺ) fixed Qarn as the Miqat (for assuming the Ihram) for the people of Najd, and Al-Juhfa for the people of Sham, and Dhul-Hulaifa for the people of Medina." Ibn `Umar added, "I heard this from the Prophet, and I have been informed that the Prophet (ﷺ) said, 'The Miqat for the Yemenites is Yalamlam.' "When Iraq was mentioned, he said, "At that time it was not a Muslim country." sunnah.com/bukhari:7344
2.
Imam Bukhari even wrote a whole chapter called : "(16)Chapter: “Al-Fitnah will appear from the EAST.” : sunnah.com/bukhari/92
Several Hadith mentions that the fitna will appear from the EAST. Only Najd of Arabia lies to the East of Medina ( Hijaz) :
Narrated Salim's father:
The Prophet (ﷺ) stood up beside the pulpit (and pointed with his finger towards the East) and said, "Afflictions are there! Afflictions are there, from where the side of the head of Satan comes out," or said, "..the side of the sun.."sunnah.com/bukhari:7092
Narrated Ibn `Umar:
I heard Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) while he was facing the East, saying, "Verily! Afflictions are there, from where the side of the head of Satan comes out."
sunnah.com/bukhari:7093
Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah(s.a.w) said:
"Faith is Yemeni, and disbelief is from the direction of the EAST. Tranquility is for the people of sheep, and wickedness and Riya is in those who boast among the people of horses and the people of camels....sunnah.com/tirmidhi:2243
Now tell me who in the EAST boast among the people of horses and the people of camels? People from Najd in arabia!
3. In the first Hadith mentioned above قَرْنُ الشَّيْطَانِ ". " ( QARN-usheitan ) is mentioned. Interestingly Syyedina Mohammed (pbuh) said that Miqat point for Najd in Saudi is QARN :
Narrated Salim bin `Abdullah from his father:
I heard Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) saying, "The Miqat for the people of Medina is Dhul-Hulaifa; for the people of Sham is Mahita; (i.e. Al-Juhfa); and for the people of Najd is QARN. And said Ibn `Umar, "They claim, but I did not hear personally, that the Prophet (ﷺ) said, "The Miqat for the people of Yemen is Yalamlam."
sunnah.com/bukhari:1528
4. Now look at this google map. Najd of Saud lies to EAST of Madinah, and Iraq is NORTH-EAST : aalequtub.files.wordpress.com/2019/12/13912697_1218930288140440_5976180288688380779_n.jpg
Conclusion: The Hadith of Najd speaks about najd of Arabia and none other najd anywhere else.So anyone who wants to save their akhirah, should repent from wahabism and come over to Sufism and join true Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jamah aqeedah: www.ahlus-sunna.com
Sahih Bukhari:
Prophet peace and blessings be upon him
"I have loved the people of the tribe of Banu Tamim, ever since I heard three things the Messenger of Allaah , sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam, said about them. I heard him saying, 'these people (of the tribe of Banu Tamim) would stand firm against the Dajjaal.' When the Saddaqat from that tribe came, the Messenger of Allaah , sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam, said, "these are the Saddaqat (charitable gifts) of our folk." Aa'ishah had a slave girl from that tribe, and the Prophet , sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam, said to Aa'ishah, 'manumit her as she is a descendant of Ismaa'eel, alayhis salaam.'"
ahadith 2543 and 4366 of al-Fath
Also from Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal:
"do not say of Bani Tameem anything but good, for indeed they are the severest of people in attacking the Dajjaal."
Banu Tamim are the majority of people of the so-called Najd (Saudi Arabia). To label Najd as that area of Saudi Arabia would be in contradiction of the many hadeeth relating to Bani Tameem especially those in which they fight the Dajjal, who comes from the Najd that is to the East.

I heard that Shamsi was also a Sufi and left her.
Sufi isn't out of islam. Hasan al basri was sufi because of his great piety
Being a sufi means that one does not have any love for this world and has a very high taqwa. They follow their reliable sheikh footsteps.
However, people calling themselves sufi today are just singing and dancing and other biddats and they say we are sufi. A particular way of clothing and particular way of dance with one hand up and down and just rotating spreading your kurta
They misrepresent sufism.
@@notaknot3768 No one is talking about about early sufism. Too many modern innovaters hide behind early Sufism which was in line with Quran and sunnah.

I think that the most profound testament to the truth of Islam is the fact that no single individual/group can have the last word. As the Quran says, "You shall resort to pardoning and advocate recognition" 7:199. Ultimately we were created as individuals and God will judge us as individuals. No one's perspective on these things is "all-encompassing", save that of God.
Awesome information about Salafis.
InshAllah a lot of "Modern" Muslims will watch this.
It's scary that many people believe it's halal to call upon the prophet saw for help. The prophet saw is dead, he cannot help you in your daily affairs or in the hereafter only Allah the ever living can. There should be no room for discussion

Brother Paul: People's comments that show the truth of Salafies been removed from the chat. That is very bad and giving us serious massage !!
what's the truth about salafiyah
Do you know Salafism more than its people?
If you have a question, ask and we will answer you. There are no secrets in Islam
Ameen InshAllah we must beware these horrid innovations.
And that makes it ok to abuse Allah's Creation
To say one thing then do the other, only makes us hypocrites, not servents doing Allah's Will on earth.
During (that stormy period) a man would be a Muslim in the morning and an unbeliever in the evening or he would be a believer in the evening and an unbeliever in the morning, and would sell his faith for worldly goods.
