I have visited kerala and spend almost 8-9 days trip and only suggestion I will give you is it is beautiful and here beautiful means beautiful

South Indian and East Indian states are lush and resourceful, that's why you can find beautiful landscapes and rich history which lives till today. I am from Karnataka bordering Kerala, and have visited Kerala multiple times, not a place that disappoints.

I have visited Kerala 4 times to Munnar, Alapuzha, Kochi, Thiruvananthapuram, vayanadu, Ernakulam, Trishur and many rural areas. Must visit Kerala at least once. Awesome experience and food. Love from Tamil nadu.

The following are my thoughts, observations on your reaction to Kerala video plus few facts and fun facts about kerala :
1. The pronunciation of Ke is Kae so it is Kae' Ra la.
2. You had a good shot at Malayalam too ' Valare Nanni" 👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
3. Kerala might be a little less on the lush green that you see in the video since, they had floods due to heavy rain ,. Where unfortunately they lost many of these greeneries, however they are coming back on track and stronger.
4. The water that you see is actually inland waters and back waters which the state is very famous for especially you have to check boat houses of allepey aka allapuzha.
5.The dance form that you see is called kathakali which a very expressive art by itself, the eyes speak everything is conveyed through expressions. In addition they have fifty other art forms and martial arts like silambam, kalaripayyattu and Varma ( which is used as a self defense art as well as treatment to relieve oneself from various bone/ muscle related Injuries). 6.The waterfalls that you see are Athirampalli falls ( this is where one of the songs of punnagai mannan was shot)and Palaruvi Falls.
7.The beach that you saw belongs to thiruvanathapuram called kovalam.
8. The arrangement of flowers is called pookulam and is arranged over a geometric designs of dots with a specific pattern over which the flowers are beautifully arranged during a festivity called Onam to celebrate Mahabali or Maveli as it called here at Kerala.
9.It still practices the ancient medicine system of Ayurveda , which used by top celebrities after seeing that they haven't got any relief from other form of medicinal practices ( except yoga)
10.One more fun fact the elephants are used to carry idols of god's during the procession of god during festivities.
11.The huge boats used is for boat race called as Vallamkali traditionally and is conducted every year during Onam.
12.Temple shown where people were shown carrying things on head is called sabarimala, which is a holy pilgrimage center for us just like Mecca is for Muslims.
13. The state is famous for its coconut grooves and oil mills, cooking ( Onam sadhya is the meal taken on Onam which served on a Banana leaf) - ua-cam.com/video/epwR5PQ0yhg/v-deo.html
14.The tea plantations are in and around Munnar a hill station there. You have another hill station called Wayanad too.

I'm from Kerala and I love the general atmosphere of the place. Fort Kochi is usually a good place to start a tour of Kerala, and staying on a houseboat in Aleppey or visiting the hill station in Munnar is good too! There's a lot to see in Fort Kochi itself- to get a sense of Kerala's history- particularly the locality of Mattancherry.
As part of its image as a center for Health Tourism within India- there's an Ayurveda Resort in a town called Kaladi- which was also the birthplace of a philosopher and theologian named Adi Shankara.
The festival with the elephants is called Thrissur Pooram and occurs only during the Malayalam month of Medam. (The date has unfortunately passed for this year). The dates of the Snakeboat races (known in Malayalam as Vallam Kali) also depend, so you'll have to check. Among the famous boatracing events are the Nehru Boat Race that usually happens during Independence Day (August 15th) and the Aranmula Temple Vallam Kali (dates depend).
I think visiting the temples is my favourite part of going to Kerala, besides meeting with relatives. If you can go visit a temple with one of your Malayali friends, (early in the morning is when its usually the least crowded and is also the best time to visit in my opinion), that would be splendid. Most Keralites would know about the Chottanikkara Bhagavathy Temple- it's pretty famous in Kerala and the Sarkkara Payasam that visitors get as prasadam is a one-in-a-kind item. There's also a small and quiet temple called the Ayroor Puthiyakavu Temple in Pathanamthitta district, on the banks of the Pamba river- the atmosphere there is peaceful and serene. It's definitely worth visiting. The towns of Aranmula and Mannar are known for metal-working. Mannar is the place where they make the brass lamps used in temples, churches and households in Kerala.
Other temples that I have visited are the Malliyoor Ganapathy Temple, the Ettumannoor Mahadeva Temple, the Chengannur Mahadeva Temple, the Kodungalloor Bhagavathy Temple and the Aranmula Parthasarthy Temple. There are also a lot of beautiful churches and cathedrals across Kerala- most of them are of Syriac denominations. Just a few places that I can think of from the top of my head. I hope that you can come visit Kerala someday! 🤗

India contains around 100000 plants species and 50000 animal species,that's close to 17% of world's flaura and fauna, and more than half of the combined GDP of South Asia

I live in USA, came from TamilNadu but i can tell you there are only two places in the world for ME that gives me pure peace and bliss, it is Tamilnadu and Kerala. I used to Visit Kerala every year for about 12 years as part of pilgrimage to Sabarimala Temple, very unique experience. You have to follow very strict regiment to visit the temple in terms of diet, habits and you walk 48m miles trekking up mountains for 2 days with no shoes and carrying about 20lbs of ceremonial offerings in your head. It is like roughing it up for hunting season in southern USA, but in a spiritual way.

Kerala is definitely beautiful State, however all 8 States of North East India, Uttarakhand State, Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh are breath taking beautiful in terms of stunning landscapes.
It is always fertile, coconut is the major crop of the state, they use coconut oil for cooking, Kathakali, Mohini Attam are traditional dances, dragon boat is famous, there is lodging in the floating boat, I saw Thekadi, a famous boating, wild animal elephant can be seen there ,,,bye,
