Its funny how my battle against Steven ended with his mega Metagross vs Mine Just imagine two fighters smacking eachothers face in turns until one goes down because that describes it pretty well
You didn't beat Steven. You survived him. That was heck of an intense battle and a fine example of how dangerous Steven really is, if you are not prepared (I am not implying you were unprepared, just so e are clear).
True, sweeped almost half of my team, until I brought out my own Milotic and Ice Beamed it, but her Lucario I took care of it with my Infernape with Close Combat
I remember my battle with him. Most of his team was fine, then he sent out Metagross. It oneshot most of my team, then he got to Sceptile. I had a few revives left, so i used them on Delcatty and Latias. It made Sceptile faint, and oneshot Latias. It used Giga Impact, so obviously it had to recharge. Its health was quite low at this point, So Delcatty made it faint. If it didn't, I would've lost. And that was probably my 5th turn battling him.
Same he one shot all my pokemon then somehow destroyed my groudon in 1 move so I got my lv100 blaziken mega evolved and used fire blitz and it has 1 hp and my blaziken almost died
Man, my battle against Steven was too short. Power-up Punch everything with Swampert and then Mega Evolve and use Earthquake against Mega Metagross. Rip in pieces.
I felt that this Steven battle was a bit short for me too. I used Blaziken to sweep his steel types. As for Mega Metagross, I used Mega Blaziken with flamethrower and I won
I remember feeling so confident as I almost made a clean sweep of his team. Then he busted out mega metagross and picked off one pokemon on my team after another primarily with Giga impact and it ended up being a narrow victory.
I remembered the first time I went up against Steven. After I beat him (just barely), I literally had to just like sit back and take deep breaths because oh my god all my only pokemon that did not faint was my trusty Sceptile. But they were in the red (like 5 or so points away before they almost fainted) and I almost cried like damn, Steven is a lot more difficult then I remembered. Like he definitely is Champion for a reason. If that was how things would be if Pokemon was real, I'd probably like give myself a mini heart attack. Oh god.
I underestimated Steven and nearly lost to his Sturdy Pokemon and Mega Metagross. Was terrified when Aggron wasn't one shotted by Blaziken like in the original games lol
8:30 at first I was like: "wtf super effective!?" but then I remembered that this is 6th gen... And Gardevoir is now also a fairy type which is weak against steel...
I picked Sceptile as my starter, and by the time I got to Steven I was totally shaken up coz I underestimated the elite four badly, and I did not know what to do for Steven. I legit sat there for at least half an hour strategizing my moves. His Pokemon that I thought would be easy to defeat were the biggest problems, mainly Claydol and Cradily. I still don't know how I managed to defeat him without any healing and 2 Pokemon left
Well most people say Steven is easy because they know how to counter him and what to bring, but if this were an online battle, it’s another story This video really Showcases Steven’s strength to those who don’t build a team specifically to counter him. Good video :D
5:41 I've always wondered, if a confused Pokemon uses a 2-turn move like Dive/Fly, can it hurt itself in the second turn or only in the first? Also, it's incredible how Pokemon Amie can do things such as curing from Poison and acting like Focus Belt. I should really try that...
Wow It's the best team ever! I imagine that battle against the mega-Metagross but eventually could beat !, and many good strategies, I'm impressed, very good video!
I though that this game would have an easy challenge... *I was wrong* (I had litteraly my team with 6 levels more than Steven's, I still struggled alot)
Mega Metagross swept my entire team. I won the fight the second time because I kept reviving Gyarados until its Intimidate lowered Metagross' attack four or five times.
your battle style is really cool you keep your pokemons level even, you use pokemon amie for them to be more trusting and friendly, also you actually wait till the last turn to mega evolve, i know now one else who does that
the first time i fought him i totally lost by a landslide when he mega evolved metagross i had a level 42 Mega sceptile with 40 something health. i really underestimated him
I once battled Wallace, but he was so overpowered, as because my starter was sceptile but his ludicolo almost beat me, but I switched out with my flygon and with aerial ace I beat him. That was a tough fight
In my first gameplay I used: Blaziken, Slaking, Walrein, Gardevoir, Altaria and Flygon (I know I repeated types but I just really wanted a team of Pokémon I love). Now I'm currently using: Swampert, Manectric, Shiftry, Gallade, Aggron and I'll have a Salamence as soon as I get Waterfall
During my last playthru in Omega Ruby (which wasnt that long ago), about a year and a half ago. I used my shiny Gyrados, that i caught as a Magicarp after i beat the 2nd gym witj the chain fishing method, and i Mega Evolved it to have more bulk offense and obviously no longer be weak to Rock attacks by exchaning the secondary flying typing for the dark typing temporarily. The moveset on my shiny Mega Gyrados was, Dragon Dance, Waterfall, Crunch & Earthquake. Thus i used dragon dance atleast anywhere from 2-3 times before i made my first attack and was able to do so without taking significant damage as his first mon didnt have any supereffective attacks to hit my Gyrados. After setting a few dragon dances i breezed thru his team real easy, even the mons with sturdy didnt givr me too muvh trouble but besides the mons that had sturdy, i was able to 1HKO his emtire team, as having waterfall and earthquake was supereffective to his entire team then when he used his last and strongest pkmn, Mega Metagross, i was able to 1HKO with a Supereffective STAB Crunch.
I decided to post three video with that but I think it was my last for this kind of thing. Today I play the delta episode and that was really amazing how Gardevoir was amazing and Rayquaza. The fight with Zinnia was really amazing. I must show you and after that, I will end. I will post music request then ;). Hope you understand.

The way he throws his pokeball is so cool and I have no idea why
He throws it like the man who’s about to destroy your dreams and efforts lol
To this day Steven remains my favorite league champion
He really liked those rock types
This may sound weird but my favorite is dyantha in my opinion she is very underrated
Diantha was an excellent champion! 🤩 I think my favourites are Cynthia, Steven and Diantha, and also really like Lance.
Me a naive 7 year old saving and blitzkrieging over and over trying to beat him. Those gates hold a certain level of nostalgia.

Who knew Pokemon Amie could do something like get rid of poison?
Does anyone else actually love this theme??

Altaria
Swampert
Flygon
Gardevoir

Andreas Ahlberg, I annihilated him, he never stood a chance against me. My shiny metagross one shot everything he had to offer, it was a massacre.
Ngl since ORAS was my first pkmn game, Steven has been the easiest champion for me to fight.
@@amanwithnoname4657 but he technically was also the hardest lmao

Cynthia is so hard to beat. Tbh.
Lance is hard too
Cynthia legit knocked out all my Pokémon’s except dialga and palkia and I just 1 shotted her entire team. I think it’s my second time against her
