Which Halo game do you prefer? Halo Infinite or Halo 5 Guardians?
infinite
Halo 5 had more players on it while it’s only on Xbox and infinite is on 2 platforms infinite is trash numbers don’t lie
halo infinite
Infinite GOD
Infinite campaign and multiplayer is better
Multiplayer: Halo 5
Campaign: Halo Infinite
That’s the general consensus. Seems like 343 can never get both right. Always one or the other.
Am I the only one that loved having a squad in the Halo 5 campaign? Sure the story was shit, but the squad gameplay was really fun I thought. Reminded me of a Republic Commando a little.
@@alliedbrandon1355
The squad ai was shit. At least Republic Commando had incredible ai that made the squad competent and alive while you could command them. H5 fails squad based mechanics in every way
I wouldn't even give the campaign to halo infinite. All it's missions and open world felt copy pasted. While 5's story was shit, at least the levels had more variety.
no
Halo 5 Warzone mode is amazing even if you're bad at PVP you can still contribute by fighting bots. Also being able to call in tanks will never get old.
Warzone was cool and all but the play to win aspect was annoying.
@@Vynndii I never bought any of the pack aside from the ingame currency or whatever it's called
@@Vynndii yeah i never spent money to win. you can earn the req packs by playing
@@aibarra11 yes I understand that. But you can also buy req packs so that you have WAYYY more power weapons/vehicles than everyone else. People who buy the packs on top of playing with obviously have more.
@@Vynndiihonestly you can't even tell if someone bought them or not. actually playing and earning reqs will give you a decent amount powerful items. yeah rng sucks but it's still hardly pay to win.
Gosh I miss playing halo 5 those were the days
Halo 5’s story was god fucking awful but it has the most underrated MP out of all the Halo’s. It was so fucking fun.
The SBMM was even worse than Infinite's, it was miserable, and that's coming from someone who ranked Onyx in 5.
@@Aether-Entropy I never had issues with the sbmm tbh. Maybe I’m crazy or maybe it’s the modes I played but I played it for years and never had issue
I feel the complete opposite. Infinite was by far more fun to play than guardians
Really? That's the part I hated most about it. Story did suck we can agree on that.
@@S0L12D3 nah halo 5 is 1000x better infinite is so boring and stale man 5 also had a bigger skill gap infinite literally removed nade jumps and skill jumps in competitive
Next Halo game should has Halo 5 content wise and Infinite Gameplay wise.
Or or hear me out. Halo 2, 3, and Reach content and gameplay
@@q.h.s5051nah
No thanks, halo infinite feels horrible
@@GhilliezInfinite is solid now. What's wrong?
@@fabiospfc hes a bungie fanboy, his take is worthless
Halo 5s enhanced movement was a breath of fresh air and felt like a good evolution of the movement/ what a spartan should be.
Halo 5 all the way for MP. I tried Infinite for a year or so...went back to Halo 5 and have never looked back.
me too
Strictly multiplayer i think halo 5 wins. Infinite is good and I know the player counts are higher on xbox but halo 5 was 60 dollars with a strong playerbase while infinite feels more like a abbusive husband who you think one day is gonna get all good and start treating you right
Never that, get out of here.
Halo 5 pistol after a kill felt so good!
11:00
I think everyone can agree that the color customization from Halo CE to Halo 5 Guardians was THE superior way.
"Here's the color blue for $15, but you'll need to buy another blue for $10 if you want it on a different core."
Absolutely mind-blowingly awful.
Partly. A combination of the systems would be better, I prefer the versatility of Coatings, but the coating system with custom colors for each coating would be way better than any of the other systems. If you completely ignore the fact that you pay for coatings, they are a better system.
@@MicahIsBatman2 Well, yes, if you take out the scamminess of Infinite’s system, coatings are way better. But that’s not really the comparison, because Infinite has coatings AND the color wheel. Halo infinite has all of the features that Halo 5 has, and extra features, but it charges for all of it - new and old.
@@MicahIsBatman2yea infinite system is better when they aren’t trying to rip you off. It’s Microsoft tho so they will take a good system and ruin it in a heartbeat
If it ain't Doom 2016, then it's a failed customization roster. Except for having to grind and unlock colors and materials. That was was just arbitrary nonsense to pad out gameplay time. But everything put games like Halo to shame.
I actually like halo 5 a tiny bit more than infnite. Feels more intresting and adds to the fun to custom games and forge
How tf was Atriox a well written villain? I played through that campaign at launch and I don't even remember him being in the game other than a single opening cutscene.
Not defending Halo 5, didn't even play that one lol
Halo Wars 2 set him up as a good villain
That's a seperate game, so I wouldn't exactly count that as a point toward the game Halo Infinite
Really I gotta agree guys in the game for about 3 minutes
@@akinmarker2808 Then Halo Infinite doesn't get points for that, Halo Wars 2 does.
@@Bmabre7 Going off of what Mint was saying in the video, yes it does. He took Halo 4’s conclusion into account when considering Cortana’s role in Halo 5. Its only fair for us to take Atriox’s debut in Halo Wars 2 into consideration for Halo Infinite
Halo 5 hands down content wise it’s not even close !!
Definitely played halo 5 more, warzone was just so fun and infection was immaculate.
Halo infinite just doesn't have that one mode that would make me play daily
Halo infinite has infection. And I like the mechanics way more. It’s a much smoother game
@@S0L12D3 bulldog tho
I smashed the shit out of H5, Infinite made me play for the zero build 😂
H5 MP was the best of all time actually felt like a super soldier
I wanted infinite to be an upgraded version of halo 5.
I like infinite way more than halo 5
Vast majority wanted nothing like H5 but more classic Halo gameplay and art style, and that's the reason the game is still alive unlike H5.
@@JimmyRingz exactly
Insane. I diots calling people out, because they wanted a more classic Halo game by telling them "You just want another Halo 3.2?!"
🤡
Classic Halo is archaic, boring, and shallow
Campaign: Halo infinite win
Multiplayer: Halo 5 win
If they just put h5 multiplayer and gameplay mixed with halo infinite campaign… we could dream…
Thank you I been saying this the moment I started playing infinite just don't like the gameplay but the campaign was great still I missed the thrusters and all the stuff you could do in five you felt like a space Marine
Go and play CoD 🤡
@@WonderMePartyStrip that isn't remotely the same thing and you know it
@@RyanWithersAway because it was a cheap rip off 🤡
I just want them to keep assassinations as a standard mechanic in halo games.
Yeah, they even could have monetized assassinations too
Maybe just a specific playlist for assassinations
Bro with everything else that needs fixing you people are still going on about assassinations lol
@@hmon661 that would be cool and I would be all for it 👌🏼
@@JackDaniels-ru2xy I feel like alot of games nowadays "needs fixing" so might as well throw in something really cool like assassinations for the casual Playlist. Besides, doesn't it feel great when you ninja someone 😂 now imagine snappy their neck when you pull it off 💀 how can you not want that in lol
I preffer Halo 5 over Halo Infinite, Guardians was an ACTUAL complete game after two years of been launched, if not were the Forge, Halo Infinite would be in the gutter by now.
Halo Infinite has more maps, but go on.
@@BillBagBargensonsBarger a lot of people forget that halo 5 also has user created maps in the matchmaking. On halo infinite iv played serval maps that are the same just reskinned so both games do it devs in 5 forged stuff in infinite. Just wish 5 would get a proper pc port.
@@BillBagBargensonsBarger so no one allowed to have preferences anymore.
@@gondorianslayer4250 barg off, not the point, -5 points for being liberal with liberal talking points
@@BillBagBargensonsBargermost are forge, but go on. seriously, all infinites been good at is adding forge maps and cosmetics, it took them literally 2 years to add firefight. at least 5 had warzone at launch and firefight in a fraction of that time.
I love how the shoulder charge in Halo 5 was used to break open certain parts of the maps, I can't remember if that was the case in MP, but for the campaign, secrets were sprinkled here and there, and I loved looking for them to snag a Rocket.
that was a thing in custom forge matches
You know it’s a bad monetization system when req packs are a better alternative
This. Absolutely this.
And I thought req packs were god awful, how could you get any lower than that? 343i never seizes to disappoint.
I miss the head shot kill sound from Halo 5.
Warzone was the best casual Halo experience we've had in a decade so I will always give credit to H5 for that alone.
“You could pick your color!” Except you exclusively play modes where you are forced red or blue so you couldnt actually pick your color. Its important to remember that in infinite you actually get to see your color in each game and there are many combinations and material type alterations never seen in a previous game.
Of course you’re red or blue, you’re in a team mode which was always the case for halo lol halo if you wanna see your colors, play modes without teams
Halo 5’s weapon sandbox was second to none.
i actually dont mind paying for a full price game with content in game, i hate blank slate free to play games with promises of content later and overpriced shops
Halo 5 MP was better
For me, I was still playing Halo 5's multiplayer 2.5 years later. I stopped playing Halo Infinite after 1 year.
Infinite feels like a game in closed beta
It certainly did for the first year and a half. At this point most of the criticisms other than the sandbox not having had much added have been addressed, though.
It basically is still a beta. Game literally released as a beta rofl
Halo 5: Best action-sack, Grifball, Firefight, and Infection
Hali Infinite: Best Big Team Battle, one of the best Campaigns.
@@GallowayJesse Barg off Jew.
@@GallowayJesse it literally has more content than any other halo game in history what are you talking about lol
I’d pay $100 easy for a full complete game with an insane amount of customization, forge, and challenges including hidden Easter eggs, daily, and long term
Me too
Lets appreciate Halo 5s Chest Armor that you can change.. something that cannot be done in Halo infinite. There its just some Pieces stacked over it.
i actually like 5s unique sets more than infinites armor. i lnow people wanted the classic style back but honestly a of lot it looks really boring and basic, meanwhile the somewhat cool looking stuff will cost you real money.
Halo 5 without even a second thought. Didn’t have to wait 3 years for a full game.
Halo infinite has a better overall campaign and abilities being more stable.
Halo 5 over all is more stable, hyper competitive in fun ways, broken abilities that’s under utilize from my experience, “assassinations”, you can earn reck packs instead of paying over priced charges for free stuff the other 5 games have, more maps, game modes that didn’t take years to add in social playlists, more weapon customization upgrades, challenges and challenge rewards, more active and stable servers, and monetization.
I definitely enjoy the pay for the whole game and get a ton of stuff model of Halo 5 more. Plus, warzone and earning the packs (spending points economically) was also fun for me.
Core sandbox and forge 100% better on Infinite.
Infinite campaign was definitely better, though I think with a few tweaks 5 could have been glorious (plot vs plot execution) and the music is actually phenomenal.
Both games are criminally underrated, though my all time favorite will always be Halo 2 for its insane expansion to the world and modern multiplayer.
i feel people sleep on halo 5's game play, i personally thought the movement was fun
Multiplayer movement was pretty sick, loved the arenas. Campaign was horrendous
Not only that but it was just more fun to watch pro players. It was so fast paced. I think a lot people hated that because part Halo were much slower. But we need to evolve from the original halos… which is what H5 did!!
It’s unfaithful to the series and fundamentally violates the formula and core tenets of halo multiplayer
@@cuttingcrew5084 mate evey halo game is practically guilty of that
@@rykkerjones786 halo ce-odst evolved naturally
I’m not gonna lie I miss halo 5’s warzone. Wish I could find a match
NGL I miss some things from Halo 5 so bad and Im gonna write this down before I watch the video. The game had (at least for me) such a good responsive gameplay with the hitmarkers and I never experienced Desync. The Weapon Sandbox was INSANE for 2015. There was like a few Hundred weapons and it felt like that even without the many variants. Forge was GROUNDBREAKING and carried the Party games for a long time and most of all it had the best version of Firefight! It felt always super intense when 8 people had to get a Mantis or a Scorpion to deal with the endboss!
The only things I didnt like were the Artstyle, the bloat of spartan abilities, the Campaign story (the missions itself were not that bad actually) and the toxic spawntrapping of vehicles in Warzone 12v12 were people could just immediately steal your legendary vehicles.
I'll happily pay $60-70 for a base game if it means that I can unlock stuff either from challenges or by accomplishing something. I like how accessible the game currently is for folks who haven't played Halo much before, but it's rough to constantly be asked to pay $30+ for a set in the shop that I'll realistically never use.
Halo Infinite feels like a proper sequel after reach. If it dropped with all Halo features we're not having these conversations. Positive thoughts for our beloved franchise 😊
OMG THANK YOU. Finally, some positivity in this community.
Well, maybe not after Reach. Like, we have to know what happened to Cortana. I felt like story-wise, we could just retcon Halo 5, and just from 4 to Infinite since 4 ends UNSC and Infinite begins at UNSC.
@@Izooky he was speaking game-play wise, barg off.
@BillBagBargensonsBarger Well, no need to be aggressive. I didn't do anything wrong 😭
I agree I actually like infinite a lot. The story needs development and the open world feature should be expanded as well! But I was actually was happy with Art, mechanics, gameplay, and multiplayer
Halo 5 was before its time facts shit was so fire
Halo 5 is way more fun I miss warzone
I would pay extra to have a “complete” game. All the add ons and the store was fleecing users.
But the studios make more from lots of little impulse buys than a complete dlc. Which makes me fear that we’ll never get that ever again because corporate really don’t care about the players just their wallets.
Just dropping in to say I still play Infinite every day because I have the most fun playing it than 99% of other games right now
Same
Same. I get on for at least 2 or 3 matches almost every day. And I definitely have the most fun on it. It's really the only game I play regularly
SBMM keeps me off of it sadly. Unless I get on with friends it just isn't fun.
Same, especially since the matchmaking update, BTB is great
You’re in the super minority of people who feel that way. Imagine looking at the other games available right now and saying infinite is more fun than 99% of them lol.
The thruster equipment in Halo Infinite should have retained ground pound and stabilize from Halo 5.
I can’t believe you didn’t mention Halo Infinite’s campaign being twice as expensive! $60 for a campaign-only in Infinite vs $60 for campaign + multiplayer in Halo 5
The multiplayer is free
@@user-ly6uc9ri5j yep, that’s exactly my point
“2 and a half years out” even though 343 is already done with “infinite”
Halo 5 was wayyyyyyy better. Loved that game! Warzone!!!!
I don't know, I think both
Both are good but you forgot about something the assassinations in Halo 5 Guardians😅
Can we get more video essays from you like this? They're golden!
And I love halo just the way it is.
The vehicles in infinite feel like they were an after thought with how bad the handle in the maps
I wish for a new Halo that combines the classic physics and massive sandbox of Halo 5 with the swappable equipment of Infinite.
The grappleshot was my favorite addition and really hope it comes back. Also, bring back playable Elites for goodness sake.
Being able to get into an aircraft or a vehicle with someone else, and having one person drive/pilot whilst the others use heavy weapons is just amazing. Driving a tank with four or five marines, flying a hornet, driving a troop transport warthog, or getting into the passenger seat in Halo CE and realizing it's first person, whilst going through the Maw--is unbeatable, and it's EXTREMELY frustrating that the Covenant and Forerunners don't have anything close--even though the Spirit and the Shadow indicates they SHOULD. I preferred the jetpack and armour lock to the grappling hook and ground pound, honestly--both of them felt real--although let's face it, there was a reason invincibility was campaign-only in Halo 3.I really like Forge mode and the multiplayer bots in Infinite, which almost brings Halo up to the quality of the early PC games with map editors and campaign editors and multiplayer bots, but I really miss Warzone Firefight.
I'm getting too old for Halo.
I would also say for Infinite that for the best bang for your buck customization wise, I would consider it a $10 -$20 game so you get all the content from the seasons depending on how you progress it.
Otherwise, it feels like Infinite was designed to look and feel like how the community expects a Halo game to look and feel.
Whereas Halo 5 was seemingly designed with the intent to reestablish HCS after Reach and 4 kind of put it on Life Support for a bit.
I hope they just make the next one a paid game again. I'm sure it will have MTX too, but if the base game is paid rather than F2P, the MTX wouldn't have to be as obtrusive. eg more unlockables, and the for sale items sold individually rather than mostly bundled.
@xcfjdyrkdtulkgfilhu Hopefully so, I thought the perfect Halo shop, because there will be one, would just be custom emblems, coatings, and effects
That way, people could still create their own emblem and pick a primary, secondary, and tertiary armor color like in the past, but then they could sell like a Digital Camo coating or specific weapon models.
I want a game that looks like infinite and plays like five, written like 2 maybe
3:55 How did you do that? I've never seen it. It looked like an assassination animation
Gameplay: Halo Infinite
Gamemodes: Halo 5
Thanks for sharing
when will they fix the driver issue on pc, becuase i cant launch the game anymore. i have to be on the latest drivers for a game i play tho
Hot take: I wouldn’t had mind if they kept the thrusters in the gameplay (in Halo Infinite) but remove the ground pound and shoulder charge
Yeah, that was overkill and was one the reasons why the skill gap was so high in H5.
Infinite’s skill gap felt more balanced… as long as the broken matchmaking didn’t get in the way.
Sprinting, sliding, and thrusting are just such movement mechanics.
Exactly. If you don’t have thruster or atleast grapple shot in infinite you’re pretty much a sitting duck. Game definitely would’ve benefited from having a permanent evasive mechanic
Next Halo game should have NO sprint, faster base movement speed and permanent thrusters with the ability to slide when thrusting forward.
Want a Halo game that actually feels like a Halo game and has muH sUpErSoLdIEr pOwEr fAnTaSy"? there ya go
I completely agree, thrusters were an amazing addition and I really miss them from halo 5
Moving forward, if they're going to monetize armor customisation, give us the basic matte color choices like in previous games, then sell different patterns and finishes. For every armor permutation in the store, give us an equal amount unlockable through gameplay, or just make EVERYTHING unlockable through gameplay & let players pay to outright unlock most of them if they really can't wait, but have the ones tied to major milestones, like max rank, exclusively play to earn.
Winning this is like winning the special Olympics
A true competition between 2 lackluster games
💀💀💀
people that say this are the ones that suck at halo period.
3:55 what was this ground-pound looking thing I've never seen in Infinite before?!
I think I’ve only played halo 5 story twice, there was so much missing that that it didn’t feel like halo
I choose full price game with free-to-use cosmetics over the free to play system any day. I'd pay $100 for a fully-complete Halo game with all cosmetics earnable at launch at this point.
Watching this made me realize how cracked you would be at Splitgate
RIP assasinations
I spelled that horribly lmao
Microtransactions aisde for both games, I loved Halo 5's Multiplayer. It felt like a natural evolution of the Halo Multiplayer experience.
That being said, I also felt like Halo Infinite was the natural evolution to Halo's multi-player but like... in a different direction. The both felt so great but in different ways.
Halo infinite multiplayer would be perfect without the pay for cosmetics and a few other tweaks like player collision. If they were a more player friendly company they would just allow players to customize their own armor colors like we used to be able to do but with the more advanced individual armor coloring.
Wild take, but I think I prefer Halo 5 overall.
I actually thought Halo 5's campaign level design was a lot more fun to play through minus all the Warden fights and the "levels" that had you just walk and talk. All Halo Infinites open world design did for me is solidify that I dont want it in a Halo game. Story and art direction is easily better in Infinite though.
In general I think I liked Halo 5s multiplayer more. I really dont like shock weapons in Infinite and the variety of different weapons in 5 is fantastic. I especially love how they brought back classic versions of guns like the Magnum and Battle Rifle. The movement is a ton of fun too even if its not really Halo.
But even just looking at Infinite visually the effects don't give me the kind of feedback that they should. Vehicle destruction feels very buggy and quickly despawns off the map after destruction, shock effects in general dont look right. Explosions in general are of lower quality. I'm also *really* not a fan of weapon spawns changing every time I play a map. Sliding and movement also just doesn't feel very crispy. I don't know, it just doesn't feel as "stable" as any other Halo game in the past. I still enjoy Infinite and love the forge but it just doesn't feel as good to play as other games imo.
I think Halo Infinite mechanics feels great, it is a merge between the classic gameplay with new abilities, without being too crazy like Halo 5.
Halo infinite mechanics with Halo 5 content
You forgot to talk about spartan company for halo5 shame they didn’t bring it back
can someone tell me why theres noo assassinations yet ???
Has anyone been having start up crashing issues for halo on steam?
I really want all of halo 5 to be ported to PC it might not be the best halo game but it was a good standalone game
I completely agree with you Mint. It is important to see the positives and negatives of each game. I truly want Infinite’s equipment and simple base gameplay to stay and bring the positives from Halo 5. In the end, a playlist can be made in Infinite’s system in which players have unlimited thruster equipment and it would closely resemble a Halo 5 game.
On another note: I really miss the Halo 5 weapon variants and the concept of Warzone (I hate the pay to win tho).
Lastly: the monetization part is complicated, but hear me out. With the traditional model (paid game for $60) you end up paying for some stuff you never use (some colors and armor pieces). I am honestly OK with the free to play model as long as it has a healthy store, and by that I mean TONS of colors and armor at a fair price
this may be controversial but i think 343 should use as much time as they need, because obviously they need it. every game has cut content everywhere, things that the players wanted but werent exactly required in a campaign. instead of estimating a date to complete the game by, they should just go until finished. the wait will definitely be worth it, as halo games take years to release anyway, a couple added years to it to add many things that people wouldnt be that bad
Halo 5 is better in every way.
i love halo infinte but sometime it depresses me knowing 343 blew their chance to dominating the gaming scene again when this game first came out.. They had all the stars align
Sounds like you are literally saying everyone should choose Infinite over Halo 5. Doing a comparison on release Halo 5 Multiplayer vs Halo 2 Anniversary Multiplayer or Halo 3 Multiplayer vs Halo Reach Multiplayer. These examples would be better than comparing Infinite vs. Halo 5.
I liked the req system because i daily played the game, so I would always choose the initial price game over the free to play. Tastes also change, so I would rather be able to chamge my armor and colors whenever as opposed to having to pay to do it every time i want to
Its so sad man. I always thought their was no way a halo game could be worse than 5. Yet here we are :(
Anybody else notice that ground pound at 3:57
I think despite story suck, halo 5 give us more mission with unique design than infinite does, I like Halo infinite multiplayer but the content in there is still not enough and I still don’t have any mode I like to play when compare to halo 5 only Warzone that I spend most of time just to play it.
I think it would suit the next halo better to have a bit of both. I think the game should be offered for free, so you keep a wide range of players. But also allow fans to buy for a fixed price to get full online and customization content (like unlockables etc). I think this way free players can convert to paid players but fans can have their full experience from the get-go.
Also I don't really mind the micro transaction bit as long as it's also obtainable through the game. I like how Call of Duty does this with so many in-game rewards. But also that you gain more points by completing a battle pass so you can save up points for the store if you like to. So in that case you could buy a battle pass only once and save coins for certain customizations later in the game. Or if you can't resist, buy them straight ahead.
I enjoyed both of them but infinite is my favorite
Halo 5 feels more that a live service that halo Infinite.
And I don't know if that is good or bad.
I don't know why so many get hooked on basic colors when infinite has plenty of colors and combinations, I don't sit around thinking of man I really wish I could rock that basic orange color :l
Infinite has the most amazing music and art design, I hope the next game can maintain the same level
Agree!
It pisses me off that you beat me to making this video, I've been working on writing my script for a while now but I haven't finished it yet. You gave me a lot to think about too so I'll be sure to mention you for inspiration credit on some points but I will be critiquing some of your points as well lol. Good video overall though.
If halo multiplayer remains ftp, I want all base colors/textures to be included with a campaign purchase. Same with a handful of skill/achievement based customization unlocks.
Halo 5 would be easier to back to and play if i could increase the fov, adjust viewmodels, and use a mouse and keyboard
Its the kind of fps that would benefit from QOL features
I'll just say it out right, halo 5 will always be my top game regardless of what happens in infinte. The firelight actually felt fun and challenging when it came out.
The weapon variety on halo 5 made it more fun to play even if it's the same gun over all they would react differently which made that part really fun.
I miss breakout so much and have tried over and over again to recreate it in infinte, but I just don't have the friends that would play it.
The movement and aiming style in halo 5 felt better to play, sure infinte is definitely smoother however I do love that yes you can sprint but do I stay and fight and hopefully get the last shot with no shield, do I run and risk running into someone else or do I have enough amo to pull this off, not being able to reload and sprint, no shield gen while sprinting changed the games pace to something I really enjoyed.
The maps yes as some would feel like a copy and paste, it made it easy for new and veterans to learn the maps, similar in look but honestly played out very differently.
The story for halo 5 was pretty meh however gameplay wise either solo or with friends was very very fun tho at times repetitive was still a blast to do.
Idk if you'll read this at all but I've been in your kids for a while now saying what I think and this video as good as it is felt it missed a little bit hopefully this may help.
P.s this is not a dig at you at all
I never played any of the halo games online before halo 5 so I didn't come into the game with any expectations I barely knew anything about halo before halo 5 and I loved the game but I can see how classic halo fans hated it
I enjoy Halo Infinites campaign a lot more, and I feel like Infinites multiplayer is better from a gameplay standpoint, but Halo 5s multiplayer did a lot of things better in the live service part of the game. So many guns were added post launch and the sandbox especially when playing fiesta and warzone were awesome. Also I liked that you could unlock almost everything in the game through gameplay even if it was very grindy and unlikely to get everything you wanted, in Infinite half of the cosmetics are in the shop and it takes away the feel of progression.
I still haven't unlocked Carter's helmet in H5...
Combine the H5 dev maps, weapons, and vehicles with Infinite’s forge maps , equipment, and play style and I will be a happy spartan. Also bring back H5 spartan bubble butts. Also assassinations.
My issue whith halo infinite is the lack of vehicles, weapons and the fact that every map is just too small for a team shooter with sprint
