Anakin now only has two people he loves - mom and Padme, mom is murdered and Anakin predictably goes ballistic, reaching for the Dark Side for the first time. He'd later lose his Padwan Ahsoka to the unsympathetic Jedi despite her being innocent. Obi-Wan fakes his own death to go undercover without telling Anakin and when he turns back up, Anakin thought Obi-Wan was genuinely dead and is pissed that the order, again, did not trust him with that knowledge. The last person he cares about, Padme, Anakin is having visions of her death, and desperately wants to see the Jedi archives to save her life, so Palpatine puts him on the Jedi council but again, they do not trust him, so refuse to give him access to the archives. So Anakin was conditioned over the course of his entire life into serving the Jedi but they never come to trust him in any genuine manner, all the while Palpatine is his sole confidante. By the time Sidious reveals himself, Anakin is divided, on the fence. The people he should trust have betrayed him repeatedly, the person he should oppose has been the sole person he could trust with everything, beyond even Padme. Then Mace declares his intention to arrest Sidious and Anakin is confused, angry, betrayed in so many different ways by so many people, but Sidious (supposedly) has the one thing he wants more than life itself - a way to save Padme from death. And now Mace is swinging his lightsabre to kill Sidious and Anakin does the only thing he can, he disarms Mace who Sidious then kills. A therapy room would never have been enough because Anakin and the Jedi have this huge bank of distrust between them. He would never confide in a therapist if they gave him one because he knows all it takes for the council to know anything is for Yoda to order the therapist to tell them "Hey, what is going on with our Chosen One?" and they would have to answer. Even if the doctor-patient privilege was a thing, Anakin isn't just an average guy - he is THE prophesized Jedi who restores balance to the Force and the Jedi are knee-deep in a civil war against a known Sith threat. Even if the doctor goes against Yoda and the council itself, they would lock the therapist up and use the Force to read his mind, because both Jedi prisons are a thing and the Force can be used for interrogation and Yoda is the strongest Jedi the order has; the therapist would break. And Anakin would know all of this, so he would never actually confide in anybody besides Palpatine or Obi-Wan (before Obi-Wan breaks his trust, at least). I hope this demonstrates why even therapy wouldn't have helped; Anakin would never take it because he knows it would get back to the council at one point or another and they already don't fully trust him, and he is "too big to fail" so to speak.

if you think about it. the jedies made anakin to darth vader. he was taken away from he's mother, jedi console said he was to old to be trained, didn't get the rank of master even tho he was the most powerful jedi, lost he's mother knowing he was never there for her after being taken away from her, no one liked7 accepted him as an jedi. jedi console refused to save padme, padme was murdered by her lover. and when anakin was fighting for the light side, he had to keep he's rage inside him, its like holding your arm 90 degrees from ur body and keep it there for as long as you can. when he joined the dark side he could finally rest hes arm and use he's rage.
