Absolutely the most extraordinary person I've ever seen in my entire life, certainly. His kindness, compassion, selflessness, super smart & driven, brave heart!
Wish I could have known him personally. To have had a friendship with or to have worked w/for in any capacity would have been rather life-changing.
Could you imagine having him as your father! Wow I could have amounted to so much more in every facet of my life.
    Just a wildly remarkable man.

I completely agree! Although I should add that what comforts me, thinking of what if’s that are extremely desirable that I didn’t have the privilege of having, I realize that although I should always do my best, I will not be held accountable by God in rising to an occasion in which I was not given the tools, training, support, or encouragement that I needed to succeed. An important exception might be parenthood: Because you should never be the cause of your children’s suffering or not treating them with the most love you could give them, then you as a parent are totally responsible for the way that you treat your children, no matter what! That’s why parenting is as important of a job as President of the United States! Because you not only affect your children’s lives, but the lives of many others, namely your grandchildren and great grandchildren and all the little ones whom they directly influence!

Reagan is gentle, classy, and loveable but also with firm faith deep in his heart. It looks so easy for him to persuade and convince other people even his rivals with his dignity, humor, and charisma. Trump is in another era. Sometimes his "childish" words were caught and exaggerated by MSM. And it seems he has always been attacked harshly by the media controlled by the lefties. He will never be as loveable as Reagon. Other than these, they are basically pursuing the same things just in different eras. But I also think if Reagon was POTUS now, his approaches would've made him achieve his goals much much easier than Trump.

You do realise that the current world 'crisis' was planned? It's not so much a 'health' issue with collateral damage - it's a direct attack on the world economy with long term issues that will require governments (world leaders) to unite in a global response to the 'manufactured' crisis.
FYI - a good place to start is Event 201 (very easy to research - even a fool like you can do it) - also, to wake you up you can even check up on the World Military Games - 2019

Based on my observations, it’s endemic to all parts of life today. No one has the attention span to listen to the other person explain themselves or fully answer a question. And most people no longer have the ability to explain their position on an issue. Watch old videos of Dick Cavett interviewing guests. He would ask a good question and then remain quiet and allow them all the time they needed to answer. People were also more thoughtful and better able to articulate a point.

He broke the unions in this country...
And, destroyed the auto industry practically overnight.
Japan was allowed to sell their auto's in this country with very low tarriffs..
U.S. made auto's had huge tarriffs put on them when they were shipped to Japan..
The presidents of the auto workers met with Reagan to ask him to limit the import of trucks, which were the biggest profits made by the big 3..
    He agreed...
But , he allowed Japanese made trucks enter our ports with the beds off...
This qualified them as cars ..
Of course the beds were installed at the ports of entry .
The unfair trade agreements were the beginning of the de'industrialization of this country...
He federalized the air traffic controllers & the union was no more..
He believed in the trickle down theory .
Well, corporations have never given raises because they were good ole boys...
Today we see CEO's & managers making multi million dollar salaries with golden umbrella's.
And workers are still making wages & hourly rates that were paid while he was president...they have not increased .
Teachers made about $30'000 a yr starting wages in 1985.
Today in most states , those salaries are about $40'000 to start..
    An increase , yes.
But a full 30 yrs behind where they should be given the buying power of the dollar.
I think the 60's set his views for life...
He spoke harshly about protesters & union strikes in that era ..
His belief that corporate wealth made the world go around culminated in the Walstreet we see today..
The "too big to fail" was of his doing.
Fair competition among corporations & the pursuit of a living wage was Not part of his beliefs ..
As we all know , the profits Never trickled down & still have not to this day...
But walstreet grew & became too big to fail..
Millions lost ever penny they had in 2007 when the bubble burst..
The facts are, wages in the U.S. are 30 yrs behind where they should be...
The buying power of the dollar has so diminished that both mother & father must work..
    Daycares are raising our infants.
The family unit has been fractured because of his policies that are in place to this day..
He was a great orator & his acting skills taught him to win over his audience..
But, his lasting popularity has been part of the reason his policies are still in place.
Every republican loves to quote him idolize him..
I wish the facts were stated & the real history of his administration revealed.

Who cares what so-called "European Intellectuals" think about the American President? I don't, and most Americans don't either.

I guess history and perceptions change with time. He gets high marks for his comunication skills? hiwever his presidency wasn't what many perceve. On a host of issues his legacy is a bit more perception than reality. In the longer view things like Star wars and the war on drugs didn't work out as advertized. Some of effects are still being dealt with. His cold war stance could have changes a whole generation of peace, but his out dated anticommunist believes stalled the eventual breakup of the USSR and prolonged the cold war. Much of our military spending was eventually scrap.

"his out dated anticommunist believes stalled the eventual breakup of the USSR and prolonged the cold war." This is one of the worst takes I've ever read.
