- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles has gone through a lot of rebrands over the years but the Michael Bay produced Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2014) might be one of the worst ideas ever. It's basically the Transformers movie with a reskin. Even Megan Fox shows up in this movie as April O'Neil. In fact, she doesn't just show up. She's the star of the film. This is really her movie and the Ninja Turtles are lucky enough to show up once in awhile.
I rant about this fill for a good chunk of time but also give it a couple of positives when I can find them.

money has nothing to do with oppression, her riches don't belong to the entire black community. individually many make money but wealth is power and as a group black people lack that. Also there was a time in history when businesses refused to service black people, their money wasn't wanted at those businesses and it was legal. Asians as a group make money, Jewish People, white people, etc. Black wall street was burned to the ground, black communities made into gutters now being gentrified. Jay z made his money from rich white people same as all entertainers. black people don't own anything or have power in America. All those millions can be taken by government also companies were threatening many jobs of celebs who didn't get the vaccine. That's power my friend. being rich and wealthy aren't the same, Lebron is rich, the people that pay him his millions are wealthy

I don't think he ever said that. He might have rated it higher than some of the others. That being said I don't think Adam cares much for any of the TMNT movies.

The 1990 film and TMNT 2007 are my personal Turtle favorites. Not a fan of 2014.

I feel like the 2007 one is very underrated.
When the tower is dropping along with Megan Fox she isn't really in any danger. With that yellow outfit along with the injected lips she looks and functions just like the raft from Temple of Doom.

I actually liked part 2 a lot better. It has been the closest film to the old cartoons even tho they look awful

Michael Bay's greatest hit of all time (my opinion) is Armageddon. I want to see another film with that same feel.

I don't mind this one. I liked that they incorporated more of the modern origin story from the comics for the Turtles vs. using the old origin. I thought Shredder was badass. We finally got a deliverance on the promise of a Super Shredder. That way we dont get the same rehashed fight over and over. The design of the turtles is awful though. I hate all the random shit they have hanging off of them.
He said the thing! “STRONG FEMALE LEADSssssss” ….. this movie sucked hard….. TMNT fan here….. 2/10….. FYI: in cartoon Splinter was a rat & learned his fighting techniques mimicking his master.
I’m not even fan of TMNT and when I watched it for the first time… I’ll say it looks so bad. Shredder looks stupid, turtles look horrible, and splinter as well.

As an adult I was never a mega TMNT fan (I liked it as a child for sure), but I saw this movie once, felt it was okay, and never saw it again. I thought it was okay, but it didn't make an impression on me really.

I love your comment about design being shit vs bad cgi. I have also been annoyed with how bad cgi is lately. It looks so cheap. Even in a trash movie like this, you can see they care about the cgi quality.

Pausing after your intro there to say that I really enjoyed both of these Turtles movies. Big fan as a kid and I thought this new take was pretty good. I think the second was even better. Both movies were far better than any of the Transformers movies.

Yeah the first Michael Bay turtles movie was a complete travesty. The second one actually makes for a decent fanservice turtle movie if you can ignore the turtles themselves.
