It's a clandestine killer. All my kidney illness gone away after stopping coffee for two months. I can now eat any food.
that's insane to hear man glad you are doing better tho
What is clandestine?
This information about the kidney is so precious ! Thanks you Sir.
Did your GFR increase at all after quitting coffee?
Wow!
I have quit for almost two months. What I realized is that the reason why I could not feel energized without coffee was due to the fact that the coffee itself was the cuase for why I felt tired in the first place. It would disrupt my sleep, i would then have coffee in the morning, not sleep well because of drinking coffee and then feel tired the next morning wanting more coffee. This cycle continued until after i decided toi quit and realized that I slept like a baby without any caffeine in my body. Because I get full rest, I don't need any caffeine at all.
Always love seeing people noticing the things that have a bad impact on their life and get rid of them. That's awesome man, I personally came back to it with a different approach, and I anyways love the taste in the morning and the routine of making it :)
We all know about hangovers but not caffeine hangovers
Greatvideo. So wise for being so young. It took me 45 years to quick coffee and I don't miss it at all. Feel great. Sleep Great. My best friend for 45 years was my worst enemy. Also word of advice. I am a bit extreme so I quit coffee cold turkey. I thought that since I only drank one or two cups a day it would be easy mild to stop. I forgot it is not only the amount but the duration of the addiction. After 2 days I was afraid I was going to die. After 3 days I was praying for death. finally on the 5th day I began to feel better and it got progressively better after the 5th day and after 4 months I will not go back to the coffee habit ever again. So for anyone out there. Make a plan like Sacha recommended and just start reducing your caffeine gradually. Your body and soul will be much better off doing this. Cheers and Peace.
thanks a lot for your insight man, and for your kind support. take care :)
Decaffeination removes about 97% or more of the caffeine in coffee beans. A typical cup of decaf coffee has about 2 mg of caffeine, compared to a typical cup of regular coffee, which has about 95 mg of caffeine.
Well I think it's not quite true to say caffeine itself doesn't trigger anxiety. Caffeine does stimulate cortisol--especially after it's been in your bloodstream for a few hours. Cortisol is the stress hormone. So while it's true that some people will feel more anxiety than others, your body is literally dealing with more stress hormones firing.
Of course, it can trigger anxiety. All stimulants can.
The doctors or studies that say it doesn’t cause anxiety are most likely paid to say that it doesn’t cause anxiety. It’s a messed up world sometimes.
It has messed up my sleep, and I started to get bad migraines along with dizziness. . . Today is the first day of me not having coffee. . . Wish me luck.
day 1 here. Gonna give it 3 months minimum, see if my issues clear up
@@kennethdoyle3226how its going
How’s it going?
@@thesupersaiyan6454 I feel way better, I can sleep without any issue and I feel well rested. I try not to drink coffee at all. I've as well reduced sugar, bread and rice consumption, and I've lost 1 kg.
I hope you did it! I’m on day 2!
I quit a week ago. Can’t wait to have the best sleep of my life. I know that will take a bit to get there.
things will take time yes, but you got this, trust the process :)
For the past decade, I have consistently consumed coffee on a daily basis. Recently, I made the decision to abruptly cease my caffeine intake and have now successfully abstained for a period of three months. I am pleased to report that I am experiencing a remarkable improvement in my overall well-being. Previously, I encountered difficulties in achieving deep REM sleep, but now I consistently have dreams every night. Upon waking, I feel refreshed and energized, which has significantly enhanced my daily productivity.
Hey bro, I'm really happy that you're posting constantly. It's great seeing you fixing your problems with researching the shit out of them :D Thanks for the inspiration. Have a nice day :3
Comments like this are the main source of motivation for my consistency!! Always fixing my problems and trying to find the cause is great, but when I can’t find it, it’s quite annoying…ahah but thats my definition of self improvement.. :) anyways, Thanks a lot for the support man :))
I got through two months and I always thought about that morning coffee. Every single day. But I had no anxiety. My mood was so much more relaxed and level.
I loved waking up early, making a decent coffee and reading my book. Loved it. I couldn't read a book in the morning without it.
Anyway, decaf is still caffeinated. It still very much affects your brain. You either drink coffee or u don't!!! U decide. Decaf is a joke.
The dose makes the poison
I relapsed. Always look for excuses. I work the odd Nightshift and it was a rough night. Had a mug of the sweet nectar. Absolutely pathetic
yea decaf is the same coffee, only with less caffeine
@@pete801thanks for your honesty. I think you being open about it means that you’re not really a junk any more.
In 10 days I have been 1 year without caffeine.
It was much much harder than expected, I had cravings 6-7 months after stopping.
Caffeine manipulates heavily with your energy but the is a cost
Congratulations 👏
I can quit but then 2-3 months later I start again and I love it all over again 😮
@@robinsmith4958 That is because you probably are first free of cafeine adiction, mentally and physically after much longer time. It took me more than 8 months to feel free and awake in the mornings. Now 1,5 years after quiting cafeine (everything except the ocasional chocolate and rarely green tea), I had a cup of coffe since I had a long drive home. So I thought to be safe from falling asleep, I will drink a cup. And it tasted horible,, so bad that even 3 hours after drinking it I had this horible coffe taste in my mouth... It felt like the first time I drank coffee as a child. I do not think I ever will drink coffee again.... I drink herbal tea, have tried so many I order from the net. There are some really good ones out there to try.
My gamechanger was light morning exercise, that changed everything for me, but the first 6 months was hard until I discovered that.
Been binge watching all your videos, they deserve so many more views
Elyse thank you sooooo much ahaha, means a lot!! Let’s grow this channel to 20k subs :)
I've been caffeine free for a few months now. I feel a lot better being caffeine free.
Congrats !!
I’m going to quit coffee! ☕️
quit, or change your drinking habits… :) you got this
For me it was pre-workout. Started out just a few days a week before the gym, then it became most days, then to the point I couldn't go without it... Then to the point I was dry scooping it in the car for long car drives. I've been off it over a month now, took a few weeks to not have that "pull" to it anymore. Feel so much better now. May or may not go back to it at some point if I feel I can control myself
love to read this, congrats
Lol preworkout is what restarted my caffeine addiction
really high quality videography - keep it up. You have a simliar presenting style as Matt D'Avella
Being compared to a successful professional videographer is the best compliment ever!! lets now reach his subs count… ahaha!!thanks a lot Vito ;)
I loved this video
You are awesome !
I am on day 10 no caffeine
One day I had some green tea but basically none now
So much better
I only started it 10 years ago
Most of my life I was not coffee drinker
The difference is amazing
I relate strongly to all the reasons you give
Keep up your great work
Love to read that!!! thank you so much for your kind words :) take care
Caffeine is great at times but it can definitely focus over
I'm such a sensitive little flower that even decaf affects me sooo much with the anxiety, Sounds like bullshit but it's sure true because I don't feel it when I drink no coffee. Believe me I have tried haha. Too bad that I LOVE the taste of coffee, and to some extent the caffeine high. Missing the morning routine for sure.
Doesn’t sound like Bullshit, I seriously can believe that, because caffeine had the same effect on me (not with decaff tho) but yeah, coffee does taste good ahah…
Try dandelion and chicory tea, it's dark and can be brewed quite bitter.
I'm the same. I guess we are very sensitive to it. I gave up my decaf and the anxiety has completely gone.
brother, decaf is the same coffee, it just has less caffeine
For me black coffee is not good almost 30 days I did not drink but you know it's my morning routine and afternoon routine I'm so addicted it's gonna boost my mood in the morning but I realized that I should quit coffee just focus to drink water in the morning than the coffee because I have a anxiety due to excessive coffee in take but my brain warned last April 26th this year but now I did not drink coffee anymore but thanks for the advice It gonna really change my life thank you.
Heaping scoop 3 tablespoon to 2 tablespoon first day or level scoop for 5 days to 2 weeks then half scoop or 1 tablespoon with 2 tablespoon decaf never got past that.
Great video. What iPad keyboard stand is that?
thanks Bryan, it is the magickeyboard from apple :)
Even one cup would mess me up and it would do it after it wears of and I would feel it at night . Now I can just have a few squares of dark chocolate if I really need it and it works fine
Glad to see that you found alternatives man! And Thanks for your comment ;)
Day 2 for me!!
I'm gonna reduce my coffee consumption. Wish me luck 😀
You got this eaaasy! Good luck and looking forward to hear from your experience ;)
It’s a bit of an adjustment but I’ve been energy drink free since June of 2022 and haven’t had caffeine since November of 2022 and haven’t looked back 😁
Everyone should Listen to Allen Carr’s “easy way to quit caffeine” audiobook. Good luck! Third week. I am saved from the caffeine trap. 😊
I'm busy reading this book now
If you want some nice caffeine every now and then, try drinking some Mate. It has half the caffeine as coffee, and it’s less addictive haha
Good to know, is it a type of tea ? Will have a look at it ;)
@@SachaBourlonyes, he is referring to Yerba Mate, a leaf native to Argentina and South American countries. They usually drink it from a hardened Gourd fruit shell with a metal filtered straw. It is pretty good, I would recommend it, at least to try something different. They say it is very soothing and not overstimulating. Of course that depends on the ratio of water to leaf. 😉
I quit for 40 days and started again
Drinking decaf unfortunately has caffeine so you can’t fully quit until you stop decaf. Only at that point will you be 100% caffeine free.
Try Yerba Mate!
I did, I really don’t like it ahaha
I've come to realise that everybody is different therefore their body reacts to caffeine differently...

But you didn't quit caffeine, because decaf still has small amounts of caffeine.
yes but same as a dopamine detox, you don't get rid of a 100% of the dopamine in your body mate :)
True. So many videos where people say they quit caffeine, yet they still drink decaf. That is not quitting caffeine. Give up all sources of caffeine, then you can claim you have quit caffeine.
@SachaBourlon So you are saying you cannot get rid of 100% of caffeine out of your body? The Body doesn't make caffeine, it does make Dopamine though, so no, you cannot detox that completely, but you can completely detox caffeine.
It’s nothing really bad. It’s all in your head.
there is also caffeine free coke
True ;)
I’ve quit two months ago 💡❤️😊
Hey so decaf still has caffeine
decaf does still have caffeine, mix decaf with no caffeine Teeccino and work down to no caffeine at all!
Hi. What camera do you use?
Sony zve10 :)
I definitely feel more fuckoused after quitting caffeine. 0:39
not drinking caffeine 15 days, still can't concentrate on work, what's wrong with me... i only drink 1 cezve(250ml 20gr of coffee), and sometimes 1 or 2 cups of tea. feels great when drinking coffee in the morning, can work, can sleep very well, now i'm just a zombie...
I am on 22nd day. Also feel lousy. I think it will need at least 30 days or more to get slowly better.

They'll tell you
Caffeine ruined my life 💀
Still caffeine in decaf so you have yet to quit caffeine….
love to read this, do you think a dopamine detox mean you don't have any level of dopamine in your body?
@@SachaBourlon apples and bananas mate. I could also the just counter that and say does quitting nicotine mean smoking a cigarette once a month? Your argument is dumb it’s pretty easy to justify your dependence away. caffeine is a substance that you actively avoid so semantics don’t apply.
@@SachaBourlon I understand you needed to make a misleading title for the algorithm, it seems that everyone who has supposedly quit caffeine bitches out and has decaf anyway.
@@perryperryprince3242 what a fundamentalist puritan you are.
funny guy
As usuall it was the person . Not caffeine.
Facts
If you drink decaf, you're drinking coffee with little caffeine. You didn't quit coffee or caffeine.
The decaffeinating process removes about 97% of caffeine, which means that one cup approximately has 2mg of caffeine, which is basically nothing. Same as whenever you do a dopamine detox, you do not remove 100% of the dopamine of your body because that is physiologically impossible ;) but thanks for your comment!
@@SachaBourlon still does not negate the fact you still ingest caffeine.

If i did make a video, it would be called, why i drink coffee and why i don't plan on quitting because i enjoy it and it has no negative side effects. But why would i do that instead of going to get a coffee.
You are crazy! Coffee is so high in antioxidants.
U can get more with blueberry’s and other fruits without the effects
Doesn't affect me. I love a good coffee. Coffee is saving lives. Cancer rates would be higher if humans didn't love their coffee and tea.@@heavenly4374
This is a lie and a bad reason to drink coffee.
It is not a lie! Look it up! Coffee and tea are both mega high in antioxidants and may well be one of the only things preventing more widespread cancer considering our poor diets. Do you have a problem with people who do truly enjoy coffee?! Are we sinners for this food we intake?! The bible says not to judge people for what they eat and drink! You do your thing, and the rest of us will do ours. We drink it because we enjoy it, and it is not bad for you unless you abuse it, like anything else. SDA, I'm sure... @@Tenshi_ZA
