Man, I wish this one hit. Because there are less and less of them near me. I was excited to see an old mark vii running near me but then was left in awe.
If that happened this wash wouldn't be standing. That is all dirt, grime, and calcium buildup and bad maintenance practices that cuases this thing to be so badly worn. It's often the case out here that gas station washes are neglected because it's just something they sell on the side. It's not their main product or focus.
@jkelliher_24 It needs to be pressure washed (whoever thought a car wash needs to be cleaned?) Calcium from hard water - either no water softener or its not working due to neglected maintenance.
Considering how awful this performed, and with how much maintenance it needs, I think it's only a matter of time before they put in a SoftWash or ChoiceWash (or maybe a different system that's not a Mark VII).
The fact that no other cars are waiting tells a lot. Reminds me of the 90s, here in Canada, when I worked for a couple of gas stations that had car washes but none this bad.
@haweater1555 yeah over here gas stations have car washes for the same reason they have convenience stores, it's just something they sell on the side and not really cared about. And thus why there's a decent amount of gas station car washes that aren't taken care of very well.
Hey remember that dryer I told you about at magic touch hand car wash in L.A, well maybe you can film the outside because I posted the same dryer on one of California car washes n’ more’s channel and a lot of people wanted to see that dryer on UA-cam!
These mid-2000’s AquaJets are a hit or miss. They can either be great machines or they are completely useless.

Lol I'm filming every one I can because they're getting very rare very fast.
By the looks of it they tried to wash a burning car... that thing looks burnt up.
Which could declare the many faults.

@haweater1555 yep that as well.

What a Terrible Wash! Not Worth $10.00. Awesome Video btw. :D
@tylerm666 yes it was terrible & thank you!

Edit: One of his vids
I will consider it one day. I don't go out to LA hardly ever but if I have the time I will see if I can get that on camera.
@@jkelliher_24 thank you and you can see on that video that a lot of people wanted to see it
if you use a jet wash should the bonger on each cycle go on at the end of the cycle or in the middle?
@thebigworldofnz the bonger? sorry I'm a bit confused on what that is.
