I wish subata had a bullets of mercy option (mod or overclock) because otherwise it just doesn't have any niche it fills that another option doesn't fill better. It doesn't really even offer more versatility most of the time; it's just always a pea shooter.
The syringe bullets is the only overclock that's actually semi useful and the only one I really use, good for praetorians and menaces because they still stay stunned for a very long time.
SUBATA is not much of an AoE gun as microwave gun, but it's single target DMG was buffed a lot wasn't it? The hollow point bullets now do 100% more DMG against weak points, not to mention the +50% DMG buff on burning enemies, I think that's the way to go with standard subata
tbh they need to give it something that rivals TCF in the damage department, at least on single target. I'm surprised they don't give it like a straight up +3 damage boost. I agree with AxisKronos that the Burst Fire mod should do 3 bullets instead of 2. I'll be really surprised if all these videos are out and the devs go through with releasing the Subata "buffs" in their current state. It's still insanely weak and you'd never take it over TCF-- I mean-- EPC.
I think they should probably bite the bullet and move TCF to some other part of driller's kit. it's always gonna dominate driller's secondary choices unless you megabuff everything that it's mutually exclusive with. but you can just take the long-range high-damage manual detonations that define TCF, and tack that on one of driller's shittier tools, like HE grenades (or maybe even C4's volatile compound mod) and kill two birds with one stone.
Hi! I am really interested in what mod do you use in order to spawn enemies by pointing at some direction (cause when I use spawn menu it just spawns in some random direction around me, also is there a mod to make enemies stop at one place and not move? Thank you for your time.
The issue with Temp Shock is that Freeze is a really good stat, you don't want to unfreeze tanky enemies with it. Secondary, the AOE is not as good. Boiler Ray with the temp amp mod let's you keep things frozen longer too, which lets your teammates do more damage to them till they get low enough to explode.
@@pvewaste I tried the "frozen dinner" combo with the cryo cannon and wave cooker. I am absolutely loving it! Thank you for showing it off in this vid!
Its not that good. How much bt is on it? is it 2 or 3? that could make a difference. Also I think something important is, that is has better single target than Wave Cooker or Drills. How does HH EPC without using TCF compare? Prob still better than Subata, right?
It's a single blowthrough. I've suggested more blowthroughs be added. It... does have better single target than wave cooker and drills, I suppose, if you don't include blistering necrosis or exothermic reactor in that equation. TCF is, as always, way way better and doesn't care about cryo at all, with HH having higher single target.
@@pvewaste Fair enough. I think something Id be down for would be 2-3 bt with explosive reload or tranq rounds or similar. that sounds like it could be decent. but apart from that with one bt it still does way worse for cc than the other options for not outstanding lst

Yeah, for sure. I think the other T5 options are way better. I just think this one could afford to be a better cryo combo.

I like the overclock that can stun enemies with Subata, that overclock save my teamate sometimes when againts macterna in haz 4 mission.
weakpoint damage gun is weaker on aoe compared to aoe focused gun with explosions on dead enemies? that's crazy...
but what about cryo with jetboots
can we get some single target tests on haz5/4man big guys comparing these?
Blistering Necrosis is... worryingly close, but still worse as far as I could tell. Heavy Hitter is still better.
you think they will balance other weapons too ? there are some ocs for gunner and scout that really do need help.
Probably not this season.
Stubby volcanic needs a full rework, the thing makes no sense

Sandbox utilities should do both of these things with its enemy spawner
Thank you so much, I really appreciate how you help and react to everybody’s comments, I hope that one day you will have a lot of subscribers.

Hot damn, what haz level? I think I need to actually play some non-face melter driller!
All footage on my channel is played at Haz 5+ scaling.

is that the megacorp skin on your cryo cannon?
yes

tcf is better than subata for hordes, but tanks ammo.
