- Yes, I used a technique that discovered myself with bulk freeze. I won’t rly consider abusing bulk slam attack as driller a cheese strat like it is on scout, cus it costs you ammo, it requires you to freeze him in the moment he wants to slam you and if you mess up it’s aither game over or you wasted cryo ammo with basically 0 result.
This is probably strongest true solo driller loadout for 7x2, Ice Spear is overall the best OC for true solo.
7x2 for driller felt a bit unusual cus many enemies you expect to be already dead somehow still alive.
Also nexuses surviving Ice Spear into weakpoint felt a bit comical.
lol at the extra loud leech sound replacement.
I personally prefer the Obi Wan Kenobi "Hello There" - Mod for that purpose.

The spinning grenades are so good for small to medium tunnel. Can kill a dozen bugs and even the big ones with multiple passes
I’m still new to the game and I main driller and I was wondering, why do you use boiler Ray instead of exothermic reactor on the cooker if you’re using cryo cannon? Is it more efficient?
I did diablo and 7x2 runs with DR cooker + cryo - unfreezing stuff is awful.
If I am worried about groups of LSTs I would rather run sludge pump, so boiler ray all the way on cryo for me
The damage output on trash enemies isn’t better than boiler ray as long as there are multiple enemies
add that you are losing easy swarmer / jelly / shedder / web / leech clear and tempshock build is questionable
Temp shock cooker is super good with flamethrower tho, since slowdown from cooker has great synergy with sticky flames and it being better for juicy temp-chains.
Note that I’m talking from modded standpoint, where enemy density is much more brutal than in vanilla.
Cooker is seriously one of few weapons that only becomes stronger the higher difficulty goes, since it actually can use big coverage to hit multiple enemies, compared to vanilla that only spawns few bugs per wave
How did you change the way your drills look?

Weapons in space rig mod is required, cus otherwise the menu to change the look of your tools won’t work, after you set the color you like, you can turn weapons in space rig mod off/uninstall
I'm new and I'm not sure if I'm missing something but, people use the ice to get the x3 dmg but it only affects "direct sources" and you are using the colette which doesn't hit the enemies right? Does it affect it? I assumed direct dmg would have to be bullets not waves
Frozen enemies take 3X dmg from any direct dmg, AoE dmg which is mostly explosions are excluded from this rule and won’t get the boost.
So for example, if you use weapons like Hurricane, or god awful AutoCannon you only will recieve the boost from the direct dmg they do, while AoE will be untouched.
Ice Spear deals 350 direct dmg on impact and 150 dmg as AoE, so when enemy is frozen it will do 1050 direct dmg, but 150 dmg as AoE will remain the same.
Cooker waves count as direct dmg so they receive the boost, which is the reason why boiler ray cooker is the best secondary to pair with cryo cannon.

7х2 не является большим прыжком после того как игрок комфортно себя чувствует на 6х2
Для сравнения, прыжок с обычного 5 хаззарда на 6х2 намного больше, поскольку ванила почти никогда не наказывает игрока за крупные ошибки
Прыжок с 6х2 на 7х2 это буквально «играй как на 6х2, только лучше» там ты особо стиль игры не меняешь и новому не учишься. Диабло куда сильнее меняет подход к игре и считается сложнее, Lx2 тем более.
