The 100-Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out the Window and Disappeared Official Trailer (2014) - Movie HD
Powered by the antics of a mischievous centenarian on the run, blockbuster comedy THE 100 YEAR OLD MAN WHO CLIMBED OUT THE WINDOW AND DISAPPEARED abounds with irreverent charm. After a long and colorful life working in munitions and getting entangled in the Spanish Civil War, the Manhattan Project, and other definitive events of the 20th century, Allan Karlsson finds himself stuck in a nursing home. Determined to escape on his 100th birthday, he leaps out of a window and onto the nearest bus, kicking off an unexpected journey involving, among other surprises, a suitcase stuffed with cash, some wicked criminals, and an elephant named Sonya. Like an unruly Nordic cousin of Forrest Gump, Allan’s youthful escapades and current adventures weave together into an offbeat treat for anyone who’s young at heart. Starring beloved comedian Robert Gustafsson, this fanciful spin on world history is based on a best-selling novel and also the highest-grossing Swedish film of all time.
This is literally the only book that made me chuckle and laugh in public, hope the movie does it justice.
It totally did
haha it totally does... But its originally Swedish and i don't know if you can Watch it in English (But Think so)
@@GenericNameeee i watched today it was a borrow from my library and it had subtitles
@@aslan9334 where did get this
@@salmancc6468 well my library has this app call Hoopla it lets you borrow movies, books...for free
The trailer doesn't give away much, other than all the events which happen.
They literally spoiled the ending in the trailer. How refined of them
I think its becuase it had to only include the parts that where in english and not in swedish
Love the Scandinavian humour and charm! There are quality films pouring out of Sweden and Denmark
It’s just the main actor. Robert gustafson. He’s sweden’s best comedian. And the makeup takes hours.
the book is a lot richer than the movie, but still good fun to watch
They usually always are, few, if any exceptions
all books are richer than their film counterparts
A TV/Netflix/streaming service miniseries adaptation would take better advantage of the depth in the book.
I just finished the book and loved it! How exciting to discover that it was made into a film.
Half way through the book and loving it so did a search for the movie and couldn't find a link to watch it. Have you had any luck watching it?
@@leehk23 You have to buy it
Holy shit this spoils a lot.
oh my, why great movies are hard to find...I feel like this movie is masterpiece.
You have no idea how happy I am to be able to see the movie trailer for my favorite book of all time right at this moment :')

Brian Gallacher Yes it definitely is!!! You'll enjoy it :'3 Have fun reading it man!!
You can still watch this movie. The trailer doesn't really give too much away. It is an endearing movie, with belly chortling, laugh out loud moments. Its almost akin to the Forest Gump movie. This movie is hilarious! Highly recommended! 😊❤
His life was an adventure, I love this movie it made me laugh out loud🤣🤣🤣🤣
Actually one of the best films ever
It looks like Michael Bay directed this film with all the explosions lmao
I love this move and im happy that the sequel will come now in the Dec ( in sweden ). i hops you other guys have the patience to wait for the subtitel :)
Reading the title alone made me laugh hysterically
I hate it when too much is shown in a trailer. WTG trailer editor :(
One of the funniest unpredictable movies serving as a role model for all of us aging malcontents
This movie was soo much fun XD
The novel was stellar. Looking 4ward to film. Think Fargo meets Forrest Gump.
A cross between Forest Gump and Being There as told by Monty Python. Delightful!
After watching this trailer I went and ordered the movie from the UK and it landed on my door step here is Australia today so i know what I'm watching this weekend
1:13 Best ever
I’m here because Margot Robbie was on jimmy Fallon and she mentioned this Movie

One of the most funny movies I have seen in many, many years. Still laughing thinking back about it.
This is amazing.
Halfway through the book it gives a rollercoaster ride...
Is this the spiritual successor to Forrest Gump?
+SaketG Aye, in a way. It has lots of similarities.
Don't insult this movie, please.
I was thinking the same Forrest Gump!
I just ordered the book! Can't wait to dive into it! :D
Such an excellent movie.
I listened to the audio book on a long trip to Fla and back. Holy cow It was GREAT!!
Or funny way to tell a story about a man who, after reaching certain age found himself not caring about anything else than his own peace of mind, explosions, and bottle of good vodka...
I didn't know there is a movie based on this book. I must refresh my memory, obviously.
Just finished the book and is super excited to watch the movie version
Best movie I have seen in a long time!
Where can i get this film ????
This movie is Swedish and is called Hundraåringen som klev ut genom fönstret och försvann.
+Exploding Gurl Why? Why are you lmao'ing? He pointed out facts, it wasn't really a funny comment I'm not really following you.
+Exploding Gurl Wow, calm down. You find the comment funny because you're from Sweden? I'm also from Sweden and I'm glad my humor isn't as bad as yours, Mrs. Anger.
Great book, hope they make a sequel
The book didn't get a sequel, but they are still making a movie as a sequel to the movie and it's coming out 2016. www.aftonbladet.se/nojesbladet/film/article22811785.ab

Ryan Friedman December 25th in Sweden. I don't know about other countries unfortunately. www.sf.se/filmer/Hundraettaringen-som-smet-fran-notan-och-forsvann/

Quirky title and the films looks amazing ❗️❗️
It's good, but the novel is better

Poor americans had the entire movie spoiled in the trailer...
NO, Allan's narrative is what makes the movie.
I love all these books. Currently listen through the second book. It's so ridiculously funny.
Where can I get the English version of movie online, to download or even purchase!
Please help me, please
I hope the film does the book justice because I just could not stop guffawing when I was reading.
can't wait to see this have read the book about 5 times as well as his second book.
+kairen urwin Can't wait to see this. Have read.... etc
+kairen urwin what do you mean second book
+Brian Gallacher The girl who saved the king of Sweden is his second book and I would recommend it to anyone who liked this one. it like this one is the sort of book you read in your head but laugh out loud.
I cant find this movie, maybe because its name is too long or maybe its not the real name. Please tell me if the title is different!
And there's an elephant.

Amazon prime
Lol well the ending of this trailer sorta spoiled it... But still, it actually still looks interesting to watch. maybe it's the explosions that grabbed my attention
Very trippy movie but good deal
It's even better if you are swedish since ther is a lot of references
Looks like they changed it up from the book quite a bit.
Check out “ In Order of Disappearance” with Stellan Skarsgard ( 100 yo man) in leading role.
Same quality: top comedy , except it’s very, very dark, LOL
This just amazing, ! Dont watch me , watch the film !
Robert Gustafsson is the Adam Sandler of Swedish films.
But better. He is probably the best comedian in Sweden.
when will the movie be released?
I cant find anywhere
le anh hao Come over to NewZealand, we have it here :)
The scandinavian version of forrest gump, one of the funniest movies ever.

Lucky Man :((
SPOILER ALERT!!!!
Is the book really funny?
Anyone here after Margot Robbie mentioned this movie on Jimmy Fallon? :)
Why are people obsessed with telling others what brought them to a video?
where's the beauty?
*tein
It's a trailer for a film that doesn't exist in the actual film. What a joke the actual the real thing wad?
I am glad I didn't watch the trailer bbefore the movie

You saw it?
+Blue Collar Men Productions yea in the cinema
+stefan kureljusic lmao not even remotely
+stefan kureljusic You didn't even read the book didn't you?
+George Nikeas doesnt matter. Im comparing movies
This film is a total piece of shit. The book is even worse.
Tova Alviin I love comedy and I got loads of humor. And that's why I find this toss to be unwatchable/unreadable.
+Terbyn If you disliked the book, why the hell did you go and watch the movie?
Johan Bogg My thoughts exactly.
Bad choice then mate. Hardly trusting judgement.
🥰🥰missing my colleagues.
